Great experience. My dad's home definitely was a challenge for them. I had all there workers over at one point or another. They were all polite and helpful. They explained everything well and kept me informed of what was going on. They had to work on it one day then the city had to clear their part then they came back and did a continuation. They were determined to not dig up the yard they could get it. They found a large cable and a spoon. It was full of roots and they got it flowing again. The drain itself had never been jetted before and it truly needed it. They offered and gave me a veteran discount off the price which helped with the cost. I was grateful to have found them. The work was done well, however I was quoted a flat fee by the technician when, in fact, the fee was only for the first hour of work. I was surprised when I went to pay and the cost was $300 more. When I mentioned this to the technician he said the quote was for the first hour. So, its he said, she said. Sadly, I would have appreciated knowing the potential cost up front. I would have probably still gone ahead with the work but the feeling of being deceptively upcharged is unfortunate and now leaves me looking elsewhere. These types of interactions matter. I don't normally leave yelp reviews, however, zippy, drain, and total Humber group go above and beyond to help their clients. I realize they get a lot of crap, no pun intended, from clients when there are sewer issues that they can't fix right away. We had a very large tree issue, and even though it wasn't a simple fix, Ian the technician stuck with us and worked extremely hard to ensure our line was clear and usable. No, he encountered root math after root math, he kept plugging away through the challenges that that brought about, and ultimately he was able to get our line clear and ensure we have a plan in place for future needs. It wasn't cheap necessarily, but it was definitely worth the money. And honestly, it would've been inexpensive. Had we've been cleaning out our line every year to two as was suggested. Even though it had been longer than that, which made Ian's job much harder, he kept going until the job was done. Lesson learned, we will now have Zippy drain come out yearly to get our sewer line and insurance. It stays clear for years to come. That cost will be minimal compared to having to replace the line. If you are looking for the best company in the Metro for drain service, HVAC, and excavating. You definitely want to talk to Zippy drain/total comfort. They will take amazing care of you, and they always put the client first. read more

Very fast and responsive. Within an hour of the call had technician, Ian, arrive and diagnose culprit of clogged sink. Was able to clear clog within a few minutes. Friendly service and a fair price. Would recommend if you're running into any backup issues. read more

they over charged me by 30 mins 72.50 for travel time. no mention of this in multiple calls. this was during technicians lunch break from prior job to mine. paid 144.00 week before to them and 500.00 for this visit. drain clog due to tree roots. finished job, but terrible attitude by the technician on site. bad job by the office agents, no mention of travel time.
