Best seafood in NWA imo. Every time I go I order off the specials board. Always something different and always spectacular. Oysters always fresh and tonight I had the crawfish and seafood platter. These were the biggest crawfish ive ever had. So good. The seafood platter i ordered grilled catfish cooked perfectly and not over cooked, grilled shrimp and fried oysters. All perfect. As side I had the dirty rice and cole slaw. All very good. Service was super fast and server was very nice and helpful . And FYI even if you dont have room for desert you really need to get the bread pudding to go and have later. Its fantastic. read more

Got takeout. Serafin tacos were okay. Not much flavor, and was soft when I got back to my place. Sauce was awesome though. Bread pudding was pretty good. Probably better fresh. Colada mocktail was underwhelming. Sparkling water was overpowering; I couldn't really taste pineapple. Overall not worth a whopping $40 after taxes. read more

I have driven by here so many times and I finally came to this great restaurant. I was seated immediately and Blakely was my server. She was very genuine and sweet. She knew all there was to know about the menu. Super helpful. I love that they have a great outdoor space and cute booths. Overall great experience. Btw, it was Tues so I had to have fish tacos. Food was overall good. The branzino was cooked well--super flaky and flavorful. The catfish batter was a little bland, but the blackened shrimp were good. The tuna tartare was delicious with a hint of spice, and the crab bisque was really good too. Service is always just alright since the servers seem to be covering tables and the bar at the same time. Another excellent experience at Fish City Grill! Tammy and I arrived early for supper, and we were seated quickly. The restaurant is tastefully decorated in a seafood theme with a nice open floor plan. Our server was friendly and attentive and very prompt with all our dining needs. We started with their fried calamari, which was served with two dipping sauces. Served hot and delicious. For entrees, Tammy had The Omega Bowl with Grilled Salmon and I had the Grilled Branzino. You can refer to the picture for details of our entrees. Both were served hot and well prepared. I also had their excellent selection of East Coast oysters. All were fresh and ice cold. Seated quickly on a Sunday afternoon. Not very busy end of November. Had music in the background, some new music that is different. Food came out quickly and hot. The gumbo is good. The Calamari was excellent. I really liked the Thai sriracha sauce because it was not real spicy but just enough. Had water with it and cost less than $20. Aransa, my waitress was awesome. Overall pretty disappointing outing.......recent trip here was in mid-afternoon for an early dinner. Restaurant was pretty empty, so our orders were taken quickly. Ordered the calamari, which was cooked very well and tasted good. My wife had the flounder, which was served with some weird butter substance that was cold and not melted on her fish. I had the fish and chips, which were very soggy on the underside and the fries were undercooked. Once our food arrived, our server was nowhere to be found to request a re-fire of the fries. We went recently on Weds. which we do with a group of 8 to 16 Every Wednesday we go out. We came at 4;45 with 11 guests for happy hour and apps or dinner. I requested water 3 times and it took 45 minutes to get it. Seven of us had wine and when Reordering we were told they were out of glasses. Really? Food came out sporadically for the table it was good however. Then came the checks Mostly all wrong and without happy hour pricing. When given the check they had a crayon to sign with. I've not changed my opinion since my 2016 review of #Fish City Grill, but figure an update is prudent. Since that last review 9 years ago, FCG has become more of a homebase. My goto for most everything. Yea, the gumbo, and Roasted Jalapeno soup is a must order, then check the blackboard - it often has unique dishes and FCH is always supporting non-profits (check the board). I'm grateful for the hours, as often 2-4 PM is my wheelhouse to sit, nosh, and think a bit. Let me be honest, if I would have left this review after my first two visits this place would have been 5 stars. I was so impressed with their seafood menu selection, great service, and their smart marketing with the free sample platter they bring out and their return coupon they give you at the end of your meal. However, all that has changed now when they redid their menu, got rid of samples and coupons, and unfortuantely the service went downhill too. Our last two visits were pretty awful and it bummed us out b/c I was recommending Fish City Grill to everyone after out great first visits. But now I do not think we will be back. Their new menu is missing quite a few of the items we loved including grilled oysters, cobb salad, and jalapeno soup. They also got rid of the GENIUS idea to have a "Welcome Wagon" free sample platter that they bring out to new guests featuring their soups and oysters. They also used to offer you a 20% off return coupon after your 1st visit and apparently they do not offer that anymore either. The daily samples seem to be the best menu items now. My husband had the swordfish and the flounder (i think) on our first two visits and absolutely loved it. I also have tried the shrimp and grits which was great and my whole family likes the gumbo. Like I said we loved the grilled oysters when we orignally came and were so happy to find good ones here in AR and now they are off the menu! They have a signature appetizer which is oyster nachos and I just am not impressed. They are individual chips topped with a fried oyster and completely covered with too much pico. The oyster is good but the chip falls apart and the pico is too much. I have also had the lobster grilled cheese which was ok but the super smoky bacon was overwhelming on the sandwich and took over the flavor of the lobster. Our last visit the service was rushed, not friendly, and not anything like the great servers we had previously. Also the restaurant was having venting issues and was literally full of smoke, so much that we almost had to leave with my husband's asthma. Overall, it was just a disappointing last visit and new menu overall. They went from 5 stars to 3....and lost a family of new customers. read more

This place was delicious and our waiter was very nice. My favorite part was the rice. It was surprisingly so good. The chocolate addiction was also a personal favorite. My only complaint is that it is way too smoky in there. When I left, my eyes were red from the amount of smoke and I was struggling to breathe. If you have asthma, I'd sit outside. read more

The food was excellent. We had the trout and it was flaky. The rice was very good (it was white rice but I don't know what they added to it). Even the spinach was good. We also had hush puppies that we cooked perfectly and weren't greasy. We ended with a piece of key lime pie. It isn't real key lime but still a good pie (being from FL and having key lime trees, I have experience). The waitress was very polite and apologized for the delay in getting to our table initially so I am not docking her for that. She had to be all over the place in there. It is loud in there but it's also game day. However, it's all hard surfaces so probably would still be loud. read more

Excellent and beautifully presented cocktails, variety of seafood, fish, and food to choose from. Timothy was our waiter who was very attentive and helpful explaining the cocktails and menu. Note: there are also specials on the huge chalkboard wall that I didn't read until after I ordered but the shrimp and crab stuffed flounder and accompanying veges were to die for. A favorite for years has become a location i won't be back to. Management or ownership must have changed recently because the entire service and food quality has changed for the worst. From the host staff giving the impression that they'd rather be anywhere else than there, to the wait for service taking over 25 minutes from being sat at the table. Food took another 45 minutes to reach the table and was cooked wrong and bland. When management finally came to the table they attempted to pass the blame onto everyone else and not take ownership. My wife and I arrived about 6:15 to a fairly plain building. The restaurant was moderately busy and I was not sure we had picked a good restaurant. The waiter, Max, arrived and was very knowledgeable. We orders drinks and an appetizer. The sampler, which was very good. Max suggested I try Catfish on the Bayou. It is not on menu and was phenomenal. Red beans and rice with a filet and gumbo on top. My wife got fish and chips. Our fish was cooked perfectly. I know it sounds like a lot, and it was, but I also had half a dozen oysters. Yum....by the time we left the restaurant was full and had a great vibe. You've gotta try it. read more

We had a great meal here. We felt very fortunate to be eating out because we ate here the day after the Rogers tornado. It sure did some damage. For our meal I got the Grilled Chicken and Andouille Sausage ($18.48) and my wife got the Garlic Caper Grilled Salmon ($21.49). Man this food was good. Grilled chicken and sausage on top of red beans and rice, it doesn't get much better than that. Everything was seasoned just right and had good flavor. My wife really enjoyed her salmon as well. To top it all off, I asked if they had any ice cream. I asked them to get me a couple of scoops of ice cream with some chocolate syrup. Perfect way to end a good meal. Service wise, it was good. Nice atmosphere. They allowed us to visit and to talk. Place wasn't too busy so all in all, I really liked it. I would highly recommend this place based on what we had. Good stuff. read more

I was here about a year ago and had a pretty bad experience, but today I decided to give it another try. I really like the decor and environment. However, today it was really Smokey inside from the kitchen, we wondered why the ceiling fans weren't on and shorty after they were on and help to clear the air. I started with crab stuffed mushrooms and my wife had the calamari. The mushrooms were really tasty and the calamari was nice and tender and seasoned well. I then had the scallops and bacon wrapped shrimp with mashed potatoes. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the shrimp was good as well. The mashed potatoes were perfect. My wife had a pasta and shrimp dish that she really enjoyed and took home enough for another meal. Service was very good. I am glad I decided to give them another try, we will be back. read more

We had a fabulous dinner here that started with great fresh oysters that were as good as advertised.My stuffed flounder was delicious, the bisque was rich & creamy, portions were good sized, service was good just a little slow on a busy night. I've never been to a place that has offered this. As for Theo menu and food, it was the best Cajun food in Bentonville I've had. Hands down a great place to get a great Cajun meal. The server told me they are alway la changing up their specials so if something looks good on their specials list, you should try it. Service was great. We were there at dinner and both ordered the fish and chips. The price of the fish and chips entree is $18.50. For that, we both got three small (chicken finger size) fish filets served on a mountain of mediocre French fries. The fish was fine, but the tiny amount didn't justify the $18.50 price. read more
