Top 5 favorite restaurant to eat at in Northwest Arkansas. They always cook my salmon, perfectly medium rare and I sub the seasonal for jalapeño risotto which gives it a little bite. It's amazing. Went on a Saturday, at 6pm. We should have left when we saw the place was deserted. The server didn't take our drink order until we finally asked when we were finished with appetizers. She was inattentive at best and didn't clear the table, we simply piled stuff on the table next to us. I ordered grilled fish tacos, the fish was shredded, the slaw had no flavor and the tortilla seemed to be a cold one straight out of the Great Value package. My partner had pan seared scallops that were pretty good, but his risotto was gloppy and bland. Their spinach dip was somehow thick and cold in the middle... they should have given it a stir when removing from the microwave. I was on the highway and saw a sign for Crabby's Seafood Bar and Grill and was instantly hungry for some good brunch. Located right off of the highway, it has indoor and outdoor seating. The weather was a bit cool and cloudy so all dining was inside. I came late on a Sunday afternoon, with seated right away. Right as you walk in, there are two large metal crabs in the landscaping, and a chalk wall with fun art right as you enter. They decor is deep and moody, unique artwork throughout in bold colors. The glass light fixtures were certainly unique. The menu offered brunch items, seafood, a good variety everyone in a party would sure to find something they liked. Ben was my server and was extremely friendly, had really great customer service. He suggested the Chesapeake Benedict with home fries, I'm glad he did, because it was delicious. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked, upon cutting into them the egg yolk ran down into the crab cake beautifully. Amazing flavor, really delicious. I ordered a spicy bloody Mary that was made well, was garnished with celery, olives and a lime. Certainly glad I stopped, I highly recommend Crabby's to anyone looking for a delicious meal and unique ambiance. read more

I'm sorry but the food wasn't as good compared to other similar menu pricing. The ambiance was good though and there's indoor/outdoor option. Reservations accepted, ample parking space. It's nice that they have food offerings for the kids though. My kids were actually able to eat real food! Ha! Ok, just because of the kids meal option, I'm giving it a 4-star. Will was the server, I've had him before, as I work nearby and frequent this establishment. I asked for a modification to a dinner entree that I thought would be SUPER easy and Will confirmed with chef that this could be done. When entree arrived it was not what I asked for and complete opposite, to make it worst Will noted that "next time you might want to tell them to add".. hey Will you are THEM, I told YOU, is this guy serious?! And then he just shrugged it off and left me to it. No offer to make it right I had to ask for the "amendment" the earlier ask, to be brought to me as sides and I just prepared at table best I could. I was also brought out regular waffle fries, when asked about sweet potato, Will told me they do not offer this. Since when?! .. I ALWAYS get sweet potato fries, when was this removed from menu? Not what I remembered. I used to love this place for brunch. Came here - picked it for Mother's Day - regrets. Reservation at 11, not sat for 30 minutes. Complete mayhem. I pre-reviewed the menu and came here for crab cakes. Of course no crab cakes but open to the buffet. We received our drinks 20 minutes after our food. A line 20 ppl long for a 12-ft buffet table. Everything was old/crusty and lukewarm. Dessert options? Mini cheesecakes a la Sam's Club and cookies like you get at a Chinese buffet. Very bizarre, quasi-upset about this. I used to love this place. Oh well, thankful for the time with my kids and husband. Won't be back again and won't recommend. Now we continue to wait for the check. What happened here? This was a place me and my wife looked forward going to for special occasions, but I cannot say that anymore. We started the night with Sangria's that tasted like dish soap, then we had an appetizer of crab cakes that were $16 for two. We then had our soup and salad, which were good, but are not included with your meal. For the entree we had the chicken marsala and seafood risotto, they weren't bad but nothing we will be going back for anytime soon. This was pretty close to being an exceptional meal. I got the seafood fettuccine, and chose the beef/veg soup as my side. I was a little surprised to be served crackers instead of bread with the soup, but that didn't matter much. The soup was tasty enough, with a fair amount of beef (but certainly saltier than it needed to be). The pasta was nearly outstanding. The sauce was extra-flavorful, the noodles were cooked right, and there was an awful lot of decent-quality seafood (no calamari, though, which felt like an omission). But here's the weird thing: some bites were hot, some were warm, and some were almost cold (yet still cooked). Not sure what this was a result of, and I almost sent it back to be reheated, but I was too tired to bother. Ambiance-wise I think this place could use a little improvement. The furnishings and decor seemed a notch below what the prices on the menu might suggest. Regardless, I'll return, and will probably repeat my order when I do. read more

Liked how thick and creamy the dip was but didn't taste a lot of crabmeat, although it was generous in spinach and artichoke. Was tasty and went well with the freshly made tortilla chips which were thin and crunchy. I decided to have the wedge salad first; this was was served atop a creamy bacon vinaigrette dressing and had LOTS of fresh bacon chunks along with the 1/4 wedge of iceburg lettuce, diced tomatoes and blue cheese chunks. After the appetizer, I could've been happy with this for a meal, definitely perfect for lunch portion. For an entree, tried the bone-in pork loin with bourbon sauce plus a bacon wrapped grilled shrimp. This was served with a risotto, "loaded potato" style. I honestly was so full already I only ate 1/2 my meal. The pork was tasty but not as juicy as I imagined, and I think overall I just had too much bacon (if that's possible) between my salad, the risotto and the shrimp! Came here around 7:30 pm on a Saturday evening. Fair size crowd and seated immediately. Took a little bit for a waiter to come over but once he was assigned to us Dustin did a great job. I got the fish and chips. Came out super hot. Fries and fish were crispy and tasted great. Batter on the fish was light and came with two slices of lemon and a side tartar sauce. Came here for dinner while in town for business. Our party consisted of five and we were seated immediately once we arrived. The restaurant is dark inside and has a romantic vibe to it. The service provided throughout the meal was outstanding and we never went more than a couple of minutes without our waiter checking on us. To start our meal we ordered the fried calamari, the seasonal oysters, crusted ahi tuna and the jumbo shrimp cocktail. Unfortunately none of the appetizers stood out. The calamari was good but it was nothing special. The ahi tuna was a complete disappointment and lacked flavors. Even the oysters where fairly small and lacked size. For my salad I went with the bacon wedge salad. The flavors were good and I really enjoyed the blue cheese crumbles. Worst part of the salad was the wedge of lettuce was small for the price. For my entree I had the NY strip with the oscar topping, asparagus and green beans. The steak was well cooked and a perfect medium. The oscar topping was delicious and it included much more crab meat than anticipated. The green beans and asparagus were good as well. The entree was definitely the star of the meal. Overall this restaurant did not deliver the experience I was expecting. I think they fell short to start the meal and did finish strong with the entree.
