7/25/26 My friend…read morebooked us a Hoover Dam tour while we were in Vegas for the weekend. On the email confirmation, it said the parking was free but when we arrived, we had to pay $15 to get in. This part was a bit misleading for purchasers. Also, we did not anticipate dirt roads leading up to the dock/gangway where we board the cruise/gift shop location. Good thing we did not pop a tire while going in and out of here. There were restrooms on the left side and the gift shop was on the right. I gave the nice lady our confirmation name for the reservation and she gave us two passes for the cruise. We had some time to browse the gift shop before boarding. I was not aware there were 3 levels of the cruise which was really neat. I don't think we even set foot on the 1st floor. We quickly got a table on the second floor where the bar was and later, visited the 3rd "baking" floor to get better views. It was a nice education experience. It was my first time here so it was definitely refreshing to see a lake of water in the middle of the dry desert. Even though you could see how much the water level has decreased over time, it still provides a wonderful scenic view of the place. We greatly enjoy the cruise, friendly staff members and the gift shop.

On the first deck is where the buffet style dinner was available. We were served a wedge salad, dinner rolls and cornbread. For an entree and sides the choices were baked beans, corn, mashed potatoes, breaded catfish, grilled chicken thighs and smoked brisket. Ice water, lemonade and desserts were included. If you want an alcoholic drink the bar is on the middle deck. We truly enjoyed the magnificent views of the lake, mountains, Hoover dam and the sunset.

The experience was very worthwhile, but our boat had not had the sewage tanks emptied. We had to…read moreturn around, go back to the marina, and get it emptied. Also, the generator kept overheating and cutting out when we needed the AC at night. One of the engines, an older Evinrude I believe, was hard to start. The boat that we had was clearly older and not maintained. I would do this again, but not at Callville Bay.

This is a first hand review searched Yelp for Callville Bay to reserve one of their pontoon boats…read morelike I have done in the past and came across this business showing that they now rent boats at the same address. I figured that maybe the marina had a second listing just for smaller boats and not houseboats which is NOT TRUE. I was mislead the entire time thinking that I was renting DIRECTLY from the marina and not some fly by night company falsely advertising their location. After speaking with the marina I was told that they do not allow any rentals from anyone other than themselves and they have no knowledge of this company. Upon speaking with this company at the 800 number listed here, it turns out that they are calleInvert Sports I was never told that I wouldn't be dealing with the reputable marina like I had done in the past and was quoted a much higher price than I paid before so I decided to do some more research. Luckily I did, you can find this actual company, Invert Sports, online where they have other terrible reviews. This company has shady business practices and is advertising to be something they are not. Beware. Update: after several failed attempts to get my review removed for various reasons the owner has now resorted to saying I work for the company. I do not. If you read my review it states that I have rented from the other company before and had fabulous service. If you'd like to stop falsely advertising your business you would not get a negative review from me. It is obvious that we are dealing with children here who can't accept that someone didn't like their business. Yelp is about positive and negative reviews - kinda like your other ones.

We rented a brand new vehicle with all the bells and whistles and more than enough room to accommodate our group. We could have easily accommodated another two adults and still had room in the common areas. Angie and her team provided a thorough walkthrough of the vehicle upon pickup and was available for communication and assistance throughout the rental period - just a call or text away. Angie was willing to meet me for the drop off and walk through inspection after hours to accommodate my travel schedule. We were able to ship items to the pickup location before our rental for convenience and she even shipped me a few personal items that were left behind by accident after our trip. I highly recommend renting from RV & Boat Rentals Las Vegas and will definitely be renting again in the future. Burning Man specific comments: Competitive pricing for a luxury RV being brought to Burning Man. A playa dust cleaning fee included in your rental agreement ensures you get your security deposit back assuming no other damage caused by driver(s). Angie provides several odds and ends such as painters tape, aluminum foil and floor covering to help combat the elements (heat and dust) you experience at Burning Man and help those living in the RV be as comfortable as possible. I have rented two other vehicles in the past (elsewhere) and nothing is better than renting a modern vehicle when you are going to Burning Man to ensure efficient gas / propone / water usage. Lastly, the fridge / freezer stay cold and the A/C actually pumps cold air throughout the entire vehicle - neither are things that you should take for granted when renting an RV.
