I don't usually write reviews, but the new management at Trucks N Stuff absolutely earned this one…read more Long story short: the previous owners had installed a set of $600 headlights on my Jeep. One of the high beams failed, and when I finally went for inspection, the Jeep didn't pass. Totally my fault -- I waited way too long and only had three days left on my current sticker. There was no way a warranty replacement headlight was going to arrive in time. The new team at Trucks N Stuff could have easily said, "Sorry, that was the old management," and sent me on my way. Instead, they stepped up in a big way. They honored the previous owner's work, helped me pick out a new set of headlights, and installed them at no charge just so I could get the Jeep inspected on time. They even stayed late to make sure the job got done. They didn't have to do any of that -- but they did. They took my poor planning and made it their problem, and they came through with professionalism, patience, and zero attitude. It's rare to find a shop that stands behind work they didn't even do, and even rarer to find one willing to go the extra mile to help someone out of a bind. The new management at Trucks N Stuff has definitely earned my business going forward. Highly recommend. Five stars.

A customer posted a picture on Facebook of the truck cap that was installed before Seth left. Commented about how helpful Seth was with the sale and other products he had purchased in the sale. I commented "Too bad Seth isn't there anymore to provide that great customer service. He was a real asset to the company." Within 12 hours the comment had been removed. There was nothing negative about the comment about Seth, the company or the customer.....why take something like that down? I think they are making too many unwanted changes in the store.

DO NOT GO HERE. The mechanics themselves just want to do their jobs, but the manager dude (I guess…read morehis name is Josh?) is shady asf and talks down to women. Nick had previously resealed the transmission pan on my Subaru (it was leaking before when I had tried to seal it myself with an anaerobic sealant). So he fixed it, but it started leaking again. It's a known flawed design from Subaru (the pan doesn't use a gasket but just mates metal to metal) and so it's a common issue with subarus. Anyway, Josh tried to gaslight me and tell me that the leak was actually coming from the output shaft seal because "the wind was pushing the oil leak down and making it look like the pan was leaking." In reality, he just didn't want to redo the repair because it would cost him time x money on his own dime + expensive CVT fluid. He thought he could just gaslight me about what was happening as a solo female and I'd just pay up. Well, I didn't take his bs bait. This is exactly why I started doing my own repairs on my car because you can't trust these dudes. At the very least, Josh could've tried to work with me instead of starting an argument, like say "I can see why you'd think that and we can repair xyz at discounted rate and if the transmission pan is still leaking then we'll replace that on the house." You're not very good with zero customer service skills.

The employee at the register asked for my name, email, etc for "warranty" (sounds good cool I get some free coverage). But nope wasted $3 each on windshield wiper insurance, lol. Totally fine they offer it but doing it without asking (and therefore implying it costs money) is not cool.

He went back into the store and got the correct battery and "installed" it. A day later, I was at work and my car died! My radio short circuited, and I was left with no lights, or flashers! I had to call AAA for a tow. They towed it to my very reputable garage and they let me know the BATTERY WAS INSTALLED WRONG! This caused my alternator to blow out! I had to shell out $600 to fix my car! I've gone here for battery replacements before and NEVER had an issue until this happened! It's clear some of the staff need trained!!! I trusted them to do a simple battery replacement and they caused me more problems! As a single woman, I trusted the staff to know how to do their job! NEVER AGAIN! I only went there because in the past I had no issues and my garage couldn't get me in sooner! Do yourself a favor, and take your car to Graham's Exxon instead! They know what they're doing, will take good care of your vehicle, and won't take advantage of you! Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO ADVANCED AUTO ON BENNER PIKE!!!
