In fact, it was VERY hot, which was a plus since we had to drive home. My mistake was trying a piece while driving, but it was worth it. The second visit was a bit disappointing. We ordered 70 pieces and couldn't wait to get back home to enjoy them. They were overcooked and almost dried out. We had called the order in prior to picking them up, but I know they weren't sitting out that long, as we drove straight there (about 10 minutes) after placing the order. I thought it was just my pieces, but it turns out they were all like that. I suggested that we notify them and see about getting some of the order replaced but the kids were so hungry that they decided to let it go. I'm not angry with the restaurant and am definitely willing to give them another try, but looking back, I should have told them about the problem. We'll see during the next visit. I get home and my order is missing main items like pancakes, french toast, utensils, and it looked as if the order was just slapped together. She then transfers me to the incredibly Customer Service oriented manager named Juan. I do hope you can sense the sarcasm. Juan needs to be retrained on how to actually service people, he does not know how to talk to anyone. He did not know how to de-escalate the situation. I have been in Customer Service for 25 years and 15 of those have been working in an escalation department that was the worst interaction I believe I have ever encountered with a manager to resolve a situation. I mean Wendy's resolved issues better than this. Being that this was my first time coming to Delaney's, it will also be my last time. Because if you treat any customers the way you treated me, is clear he has no respect for the patrons of this establishment.
