REVIEW OF LOCKE'S LANDSCAPING ($12k) I would give Locke's a…read more2 out of 5 for the following reasons: As I was obtaining landscaping quotes, Chris Locke (the owner) completed a very good landscaping plan (for free) and met with me several times before the start of the job. He also provided me with a detailed invoice of the work to be completed. My job was pushed back a couple of months, due to a Crew Leader quitting at the beginning of the Summer. I advised Chris that I wanted his best crew working on my project, and that I would be willing to wait. Once the work started, Chris unfortunately did not check in with me once (during the 8 days) to see how the project was progressing. My "new" contact was now Mark the "Crew Leader". Unfortunately, the crew was not very careful of our personal property, as they cut our cable line (and never told me), hit a light on the garage, scraped our vinyl fence, damaged the neighbor's lawn, and punctured an irrigation/sprinkler line. Additionally, the initial work was NOT good due to the quality of the workmanship. I had to have them come back and re-do the paver steps, fix my neighbor's lawn, and re-grade the front yard. Although a very hard worker, Mark (the Crew Leader), had a very poor attitude when asked to re-do work that should have been done correctly in the first place. As a side note - Chris and his crew seemed willing to take care of any issues on a comeback/re-do basis. In hindsight I would NOT hire Locke's Landscaping, due to the quality of their workmanship!

Finally I decided to have it removed…read more Steve, the Supervisor at Alpine quoted me a reasonable price and Told me they were busy, but would take care of my tree. They showed on on time; ready to work and they worked quickly, safely and cleaned up as they worked. Their guy who climbs the trees equipped with safety lines and wielding a chainsaw was most impressive. What bravery! And very skilled! They chipped the branches and took the tree down to the surface if the Ground in about fifty minutes. The price was right and the guys were all fabulous. I couldn't be any happier with the job. Call them fir any tree pruning or tree removal.

I haired Alpine Tree Service to remove one tree and the stump from my backyard. They did a good…read morejob with the tree removal, however, they said they had a problem with the grinder machine and that they would come back within next few days to remove the stump. They never did! They offer me to retain $100 dollars from the total price we agree upon and the balance to be paid when the job is completed. I have called then many times, I have left messages on their answering machine, and I have spoken with someone who promised to send someone to finish the job (Doug). Stil, no response. I finally gave up and I am contracting another companhy to finish the job which might cost me $300 dollars. I wonder if they will even offer to pay the difference. Umbeliaveble how unprofessional. Think twice before you do business with them!
