We've been coming to Fishers for decades because they usually have the best kettle corn in the area. We were just there and were shocked not just by how much the price has gone up (Bidenflation) but the fact that they don't even fill the bucket the whole way up! They used to fill it up so much they had to press down to close the lid- now, there's about an inch gap at the top. The picture below was taken from the parking lot without eating one single kernel. Fishers was located just down the road from where I was staying and knew I couldn't leave without getting some. The parking lot is small and right on the corner of a main road. It's a cute walk up window, place your order, and then scoot down to the next window to pay and pick up. I have been eating this popcorn since I was a toddler! The caramel popcorn is a legend here at the beach and is a necessary stop anytime you are here! Usually most of the workers here are moving quickly and helping customers efficiently and with a smile!They work in a hot environment and are constantly busy, but smile and even offer suggestions. On my third visit this summer, I went back to get some popcorn for my drive back to Colorado, and had seen their t-shirts were for sale and advertised in several places-both inside and outside the shop. When I inquired about the shirts, the girls who worked there were very accommodating, but one of the managers was gruff when I asked if they had any other colors available. He said "this is not a t-shirt business!" Maybe he had a bad morning, or is just not a nice person. However, if you have shirts advertised for sale, don't be such a grumpy person! I have been a customer my entire life and was excited to have a shirt of one of my favorite beach memories.
