Cutest candy shop ever! Very well organized and well stocked with all types of candy! They offer some specialty candies as well. I ordered the peanut clusters and they were amazing. I got a bag of saltwater taffy and it was one of the best I've ever had! Reminded me of an European candy shop :) I definitely recommend and I definitely will revisit.

Edie Bees is a great chocolate place in downtown Lewes. Yum!

Ah, heaven awaits you here! The specialty gourmet chocolate squares provide a range of intriguing and delicious flavor combinations that are beautiful to look at. Lovely staff, beautifully designed store and fantastic selection.

We stumbled upon this place as we were walking through Lewes. Such a beautiful candy shop. So much attention to detail and lovely service. We ended up getting four of their truffles (Dark chocolate, mocha, peanut butter and coconut) for $15 and they were absolutely delicious. The prices are a little steep but these are specialty confections. We can't wait to go back and try more of their items.

Very cute place. It reminded me of an old-fashioned candy store with clear jars of candy lining the shelves. Great variety. I tried some chocolates/truffles filled with delicious flavors like peanut butter/honey and coconut. They were tasty and decorated with beautiful colors for Easter and others with bee-themed colors. My only criticism was that the girl just stood behind the counter not greeting anyone or asking if I needed help. I'm a big fan of good customer service.

Nice shop with well crafted candy

Wonderful selection of candy in a beautifully laid out shop. The candy is first class and with such a huge selection very difficult to choose. My favorites are the fruit jellies which are thick cut and flavorful. The pistachio brittle is also delicious. Hand made chocolates will satisfy any sweet tooth.

Lovely and imaginative sweets for the kid in you! Stopped in for a look and left with a bag of chocolate. Beautiful little shop helpful staff. Right in the center of town. My great grandma will love her treats!

This confections shop is such a hit! Its retro vibe harkens back to old school candy shops since the walls are lined with shelves stacked with faux glass jars color-coded by candy flavor. They have a HUGE variety of sweets to choose from and the candy is priced by the pound so you can mix and match in the provided grab bags (it's self-service with tongs and scoops). Beyond the endless jars lining the walls, there is also a large display case of specialty chocolates by the cash register. I tried the coconut truffle which was visually very attractive and classy looking. It was a generous portion with the inside chock-full of delicious coconut and chocolate ganache. The shop owner was friendly, warm, and personable. The ambiance of the store, from the bright colors to the retro feel, make it a joy to be inside. Even if you're not a candy person I would suggest stepping inside just to check out how cool they've set up the store-- truly unique! This would be a fantastic spot to grab a few thoughtful gourmet treats for a friend or for special occasion. This store is a staple to why 2nd street has such a charming personality and I would 100% recommend stopping in to patronize this local woman-owned small business and sample some of the many candies available.

This is the cutest sweet shop I've ever seen in my life!! Stumbled upon this gem of sweet treats after dinner down the street. Whoever designed the interior of this candy boutique should get an A++ for whimsy and creativity! The best part is (besides feeling like you are in a Willy Wonka movie!) is that everything is delicious! They have some classics but also a variety of candy I've never seen before. The lemon malted milk balls were incredible from this place! I don't even LIKE malted milk balls! Hope this place is doing well because it's adorable and delicious! Skip candy kitchen and check this place out!

Everything was delicious. I just wish I bought more since I can't buy it online. The Sea Salt Carmela are not to be missed.

Owner has a perfect eye for design, with candy on both sides organized by color, and special, holiday-themed displays in the center.

This place has gone down hill in the last few years and it's sad to see…read more Service is slow and since most of the coffee is set to the side for you to get from a container this is unusual but it is the atmosphere that has suffered the most. Usually the locals using a place is a good sign but here it's a problem. In the week my wife and I recently spent in Lewes we came here several times. There are a few small tables for people to sit at but each day they were all occupied by locals, sitting one to a table taking up all the space while sitting in a circle and talking. They had coffees but were drinking them slowly passing the time and giving off a vibe of 'this is our town go away.' which we did. If this is what the owners want great but this is a town that thrives on tourism and if they can't do something to speed up their staff and get a better control of their space they may well find that visitors can find other places to go grab a morning cup.

I've been here dozens of times, but today was my last. We'd grab coffee here because it was close…read moreand the pastries were ok. The coffee always had a bitter, burned taste, the staff was never welcoming, and the flow/organization of customers was inefficient. Today was horrible. I ordered an iced latte that was undrinkable (and I am not picky!). I discreetly asked if it could be remade. I was given a shrug, told that's how the beans taste, if it was remade it would taste the same way. This place also charges about 4% to use a credit card. Although this is permitted by law in Delaware, it just seems shady- don't penalize the customer for shopping there. TL/DR: skip this place even though it's right in town, and take the 5 min car ride to anywhere else- unless you love bitter coffee.
