    Cucumber sour
    Magan D.

I was here for a Silent Book Club event. The club gathered in the patio yard area. The had a few different seating options. I tried a couple and they were not comfortable. They also had several toys/games in the yard area. It was louder than I expected, but that was due to the handful of kids, 10yrs and under, running around and screaming. Activities I expect kids to do, but I try to avoid being around. The inside was cute and looked inviting. They had counter service that was pleasant. I ordered the cucumber sour and really enjoyed it. It would be a great location for a quick meet up with a drink but not great for silent reading .

Came to Fishweir after Oktoberfest across the street. I really like this brewery- has both indoor and outdoor space. They had the FSU football game playing as I was told the owners are both alumni. I ordered a flight and had the bait & switch (coffee blonde), king of the hill (hazy ipa), gourdzilla (pumpkin stout) and the no probllama (Mexican lager). My favorites have always been the bait & switch and the king of the hill. The pumpkin stout was okay but not my favorite- not a lot of pumpkin flavor IMO. The Mexican lager was an easy drink. Food wise: they don't serve their own food but usually have a food truck on site. Last night, they had someone on site making dumplings and some other items. We ordered pizza from across the street to share.

Fishweir has my fav local brew in town- the coffee blonde bait and switch! I love coffee and i love beer, but I dont always want a coffee stout or porter. But Fishweir has nailed a smooth delicious strong coffee blonde! It's refreshing while packing the flavor without being bitter or heavy. Yum yum yum. The staff is always nice and brewery has a lot of indoor and outdoor space. Dog friendly btw. The worst part is this brewery (like most nowadays) are SO dang family friendly. I dont want to drink with a bunch of children or babies, I just dont. I get that parents need a place to gather but could breweries maybe have certain hours or days that are adult only??? I cant be the only beer drinker that feels this way.

I came here while working on completing the JAX Beer Trail. The staff were really nice and helpful. I really enjoyed the choice of music in the establishment as well. Plenty of room inside and there is a backyard area too. Now onto the beers... Their coffee blonde, bait and switch, is very approachable and would highly recommend it to anyone who is trying to get into beer or just wants something refreshing. The other and my favorite was their barrel aged sour, currant and apricot! I did use the pub pass for one of my beers while I was there and they are the first brewery I've had actually limit my options on what I could choose. So please be aware of that brew pass holders. The Murray Hill farmers market is set up in the backyard of this establishment every Wednesday between 5-8pm. Also, you can join their Oak Club where you and other members meet monthly to try out beers before they are released to the public, limited beers and have some input on their direction of the sour beer program! Highly recommended,

Cute space and has the space for large groups. We tried 4 of their beers - they were good, not great.

Fun local spot to enjoy a cold beer and on Wednesdays, a nice Farmers Market with actual local growers and makers. Cold beer, friendly service and clean! The outdoor space is lovely also!

Today I visited Fishweir Brewing Company for their weekly farmer's market. The ability to support small businesses is very important to me and this was such an inviting place to do it. I saw people selling honey, plants, body butters and even fresh cauliflower. Everyone was super friendly and I purchased an African Basil plant from a young girl starting her first business. This was definitely a lovely place to be on a random Wednesday in Jacksonville.

My wife and I have been to this amazing brewery multiple times. It's a great place to come on a beer date, bring friends/and or family as they are very family friendly. The service is top notch very knowledgeable and chill at the same time. They have a large selection of different beers and other drinks such as seltzers and some NA selections. They don't have food at the brewery but usually have a food truck (the hungry owl) in the back lawn area that is amazing!! They also allow you bring in food from outside and there is a lot of restaurants in the area. Highly recommend coming here for a great experience.

Gotta love a brewery with some standard ambers on draft!! Favorite brewery I've been to in a LONG while. I HATE hops and all the ambers and the stout were phenomenal... perfect with minimal hop. I didn't try anything IPA to speak to if they are going to be more suitable for the craft hop enjoyers, but if you like a standard beer this is definitely the place to be!

Laid back brewery with fantastic brews. We been to Fishweir a few times and I always try different brews. I love their coffee blonde, Bait & Switch. Rich flavor yet very drinkable. All the sours I've tried have been really good. Hubby's favorite is the hazy double IPA.

This was a nice open and bright brewery me and my friends stopped by while waiting for another restaurant opening. It was a Saturday night FSU football game so everyone was lively and it was busy but all the bartenders were helpful in recommendations and checking on us. We tried the cider they had that was really good and not pictured my other friend got a Vodka Mule that was also tasty. There was a back patio we didn't realize and want to check out if we stop in again. I'd definitely come back for a chill place to watch a game or catch up with friends.

I came into Fishweir Brewing last night for a little get together and I liked it. This place has a great deal of parking in front and in the back but it still can fill up. There is a small covered porch in front that is perfect for enjoying some outdoor air with a friend or dog. The staff was really nice and quick with orders. The inside is smallish but has a good ambiance. You can walk out back where there is an area with grass and more outdoor seats. I saw a family with a baby and a big group chatting. I tried a few of the beers and nothing stood out as really special. But this place has other beers on tap to try so it is definitely worth a return trip.

This was a great find! Luckily while we were across the street at Town Beer Co. they mentioned that Fishweir was right there or we would have lost our parking space, which is limited in that area. When walking in, the place was packed as they were showing the FSU game and everyone was out for that but we were lucky to grab two seats at the bar. As usual, we got a flight to split and I fell in love with their Level Up - Dragonfruit/Kiwi Sour. So much so that I ended up leaving with a growler full of it to bring back to Tampa. It is actually pretty rare when I like something so much to get a growler for myself but hey it happens. The staff was friendly and willing to answer any questions and give us small samples of other things we were curious about. When back in the Jacksonville area, we will be returning here for sure.

My friend ordered us the Pork Belly Kimchi Fries, I got us an order of the Cheese Curds, and for my entree I got an order of the Asian Sticky Wings. I probably would have never ordered the kimchi fries on my own. Sometimes kimchi can be fickle and really hit or miss. It was definitely a hit here. More on the sweet and tangy side but worked really well. Fries seasoned perfectly, and the pork belly cubed and cooked to perfection. Out of all of the times I've been to Wicked Barley, these fries have to be one of the best items I've had from there. Cheese curds were pretty basic. Tasted great, but nothing to write home about. If you like Cheese curds, you'll enjoy theirs. I originally had my eye on the jerk chicken wings and I was warned by the waitress and my friend that they are REALLY hot. Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. We enjoyed the sounds of the band Splittone in the background and enjoyed the whole vibe of our meal. I'm hoping to visit again on a future weekend and possibly bringing one of my pups along with me since they are dog friendly.

I arrived unaware of its history, but the owner's love for basketball is unmistakable, and the locals reflect that same devotion... not just to the sport, but to the space itself. There's an ease here, a sense that people aren't just passing through. I took a seat at the bar, did what one does in such environments, and ordered an IPA. It was solid... confident, balanced, exactly what you'd hope for. But then came the onion rings, which I ordered based on a subtle but unmistakable social cue: everyone else seemed to be eating them. Reader, they were correct. These were not mere onion rings. These were structurally sound, texturally precise, and philosophically complete. Large, fully cooked onions, no trace of that unpleasant raw bite, encased in a crisp, golden coating that somehow maintained its integrity from first bite to last. Crunchy, consistent, and deeply satisfying. Naturally, I paired them with blue cheese dressing because I'm from upstate New York, and that is not a preference, it is doctrine.

The brewery has a really cool vibe to it, and they also have plenty of TVs where they were playing sports. I know they are a brewery and probably really good at it, but I came here for the pizza. Their selection is small but mighty. When we asked the staff what he recommended, he said all of them (not making it easy buddy). Since they are on the smaller size, we decided to get three and planning to take home some leftovers. My favorite by far was the Pancetta Garlic pizza. At the beginning I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of garlic, but damn was I wrong. The garlic was cooked to perfection and literally melted in your mouth. I don't think I've ever seen a similar pizza anywhere else, and made it even more surprising. Frankly the other two we had were also very delicious, but I truly give it the top spot to the prosciutto garlic. Last but not least, I like that they had THC on the menu.
