Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. Bold City has a dozen large round high top tables and chairs, as well as wall-side rails with stools and a couple low tables, plus seating at the bar and inside the "inner restaurant feel" space. They have a separate and enclosed kitchen where they cook up a selection of easy eating food. Beer selections, wine, a seltzer and a cider are written up on giant blackboards in bright chalk, telling you alcohol content % of each. The bartenders were fast and polite, relatable, and quick with clean up around the venue of all your old empty glasses. Nothing stacked up and they kept the place spotlessly clean. The whole thing has a background of the giant beer "stills"? I don't know what they're called - tall silver things for fermenting the beer. If you didn't know they make the famous Duke's Brown Ale and they sell beer all over in Jacksonville bars.

Since they are on the smaller size, we decided to get three and planning to take home some leftovers. My favorite by far was the Pancetta Garlic pizza. At the beginning I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of garlic, but damn was I wrong. The garlic was cooked to perfection and literally melted in your mouth. I don't think I've ever seen a similar pizza anywhere else, and made it even more surprising. Frankly the other two we had were also very delicious, but I truly give it the top spot to the prosciutto garlic. Last but not least, I like that they had THC on the menu. As someone who no longer drinks alcohol, it is nice to see other options available on the menu.
