Stopped in for a beer and fried green beans before a show at VyStar next door, and it was such a great pre-show spot. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and both the beer and food were excellent. Everything came out quickly, and the vibe was relaxed but lively. This review is for the Bier Hall. Love the Bier Hall, which is right around the corner from the main building. This is my favorite venue to see really good bands in an intimate setting.....it's small but so much fun. I don't mind coming downtown if there is a good band playing at Intuition's Bier Hall. Love the way they utilize 904tix to sell tickets to shows. It's always organized when you show up. The Intuition staff is always so friendly. Every time we visit the Vystar Arena we stop in to intuition to get a nice beer before our event. Now we also go to try the food. She made the entire process so incredibly simple and answered any and all questions or concerns with swift response times! I booked the private taproom from 12-4p on Saturday May 3rd for a surprise 30th birthday party and it was PERFECT. They made the day so perfect from the drinks to the catering. The order line took 5-10 minutes to get through, but once we ordered the drinks were immediate and the food was delivered in 10-15 minutes or so (which was impressive given the amount of people there). Plenty of drink options and the food was pretty good overall, as long as you go in with the right bar-food expectations. The not-so-good: Very crowded, but that added to the fun pregame vibes. Hubby and I have been to Intuition Ale Works several times. Every experience has been a positive one. Delightful food menu, well known local beers, chill vibe inside and out. We've had the cheese curds, corn nuggets and the big ol' pretzel as starters - would recommend all. The jags dog, chicken tenders and Ben's butt are really good entree options. I always enjoy their sweet potato fries, too. As far as beer goes, the Jon Boat is my go-to. Hubby loves their Party Wave. Easy On The Eyes IPA is another good one. Candyce and I got the Jon boat brand of beer. I got the bratwurst with fries. The fries were waffle fries. Even better. Candyce got the hotdog with sweet potato fries. A little $1 up charge. We visited intuition ale works on a Friday night with 15 people, and they took us on like pros. It was Valentine's Day, and we were traveling for a conference. There weren't a ton of other people in there. What can I say about this place? I had a brat, a pretzel with beer cheese and mustard, boiled peanuts, fried green beans, some cheese curds, and a couple beers. They hit the nail on the head with everything that I had, and we all left happy and full. I have a deep appreciation for their beer mustard with the pretzel, it was awesome. I can say for sure that I'd go to this place again if I found myself in that area of Jacksonville. read more

What a fun spot! You get a great view of the Jags stadium, right near Vystar before an event, and right Jumbo Shrimp games. They have some food options which are very reasonably priced. We went to Intuition Ale Works for the first time before the Justin Timberlake concert and loved it! This place is always packed before concerts and games, and we always say we'll keep it in mind if we can get down there early enough. We arrived at 6 pm and made it just in time before it got too busy. They have 2 lines - one for just beer and one for beer and food. I would love to go another day for a beer flight, but it was way too busy that day. I was happy to see the blackened fish sandwich on the menu. I assumed I'd get the black bean burger since that was the only non meat option, but the blackened fish was actually so good!! My boyfriend got the grilled chicken blt sandwich and both of our sandwiches came with delicious waffle fries. The prices were reasonable too! I was torn between like 3 different beers, but went with the stout. On a "chilly" Florida evening on the rooftop, this dark beer totally hit the spot. The beer is good! Service is counter so really not existent. Not much parking and then there is the food. Blacked fish sandwich was probably about 2 oz of some non descript fish. We stopped in prior to a hockey game. They have 2 lines you can order from. One for food and beer and one just for beer. At times lines were long however they moved them through quickly. My husband had brat and said it was okay nothing special. Same with burger for me but filled us up. The beers were great. It's a large area and the brewery part seemed large too. A great spot, especially the rooftop. Easy walking distance from the arena and baseball grounds. I like to eat vegetarian, so I really appreciate that they have the Beyond burger in their menu. Me and 5 friends ate lunch here on Saturday. We ate downstairs. I had the empanadas and sweet potato fries. I also had a Framboise inspired beer that was amazing. A friend really enjoyed the pulled pork and another said the burger was really good. The food came out quickly and was great. I was expecting so-so food and a great beer focus but honestly both were great. We then went to sit on the 2nd floor to enjoy the weather. The view was great, there was a bathroom upstairs which was convenient. Great "King Street" Stout! There's a seasonal maple flavored dark beer that is also killer. The German Pilsner "Civic Pride" is clean and delicious with the overly charred burger I got from the kitchen. Chef was very accommodating and added a fried green tomato. They say they are trying hard and it shows that they really are. There are some anti-masker, non social distance types so if that turns you off go up to the rooftop. read more
