Finally got to try this spot! Fun to watch a game. I got a cider which was yummy and my boyfriend and friends got beers which they liked. I also ordered the brisket but it was a little cold. The pickles and fries were yummy! I like that they have the take out wonder there for people who sit outside, it makes it easier than walking inside constantly.

My hubs loves wings and bbq. When I saw the menu, I knew we definitely had to try Strings. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and hubs got the pork platter. We also ordered smoked wings with Cajun ranch to try. All were delicious. The pork was yummy and both bbq sauces (sweet and hot) were really good. The hot wasn't spicy and had a good pepper flavor and the sweet had a touch of cinnamon which made for a good dip for the French fries. I also liked the accompanying pickles and onions. The green beans were topped with almonds which were a nice touch. The wings were good and smoky. We just wish they tossed in more cajun ranch sauce. We'll definitely be back to try more.

I wanted to love this place. It has "dad" vibes and I mean that in the best possible way. This feels like the place where a dad would bring his kids for dinner that still has pub food, a good beer selection, and a tolerance for running kiddos. All the tables have football team logos to help them find you after you order from the counter which is a neat idea instead of table numbers. The burgers were okay, but $12 for an a la carte burger felt steep for what we got. It was $5 for a side of fries and $6-7ish for some charred Brussels sprouts that were tasty but I would have rather been charged $15 for the burger with the side included if that makes sense. Selling them separately made both items feel overpriced for a mid burger and fries. The beer options were excellent and all house brews so I love that! I would definitely come back and just do beer and fries on the side or something but I think the menu pricing could use some restructuring for a family place. Also, let me preface my last thought by saying that this is a dumb thing to have an opinion on - I would normally not call this out at all, but since Strings is self-proclaimed family-friendly spot, I genuinely hope someone reads this and considers it for the sake of parents - please cut the straws for the kids cups! My kids spilled their drinks twice because the straw is twice the size of the cup. It could be that I have not properly straw-trained my children, but I bet other parents would appreciate that touch. Don't order new straws! Just cut them shorter with scissors when you're sticking a straw in a kids cup. Little touches like that will fortify your "family first" brand. Thanks for your time and consideration.

$6 burger special plus Cajun fries

Our first time here so it took us a minute to realize we had to walk up to order (although I suppose I should have caught that on the other reviews). Super friendly guy at the register! Lunch prices are super reasonable - they have a $6 lunch special (burger, wings or pulled pork sandwich). Does NOT come with fries. We got two burgers and a side of Cajun fries. The burger was just ok - it reminded me of a frozen Costco burger. Not any flavor in the burger itself (very bland) but the bun and toppings were good and fresh. Also came with a mustard-y thousand island type dressing that was good. The fries were also good - the Cajun seasoning almost had a sweet aftertaste which was kind of weird since I was expecting more spicy. But the Cajun ranch was delicious! We sat outside which was nice except for the lady smoking so we were smelling her ashes waft over our lunch. Overall a solid 4 stars - just wish the burger was better and a stricter smoking policy away from the tables.

New strings is bumping for sunday football!

The new strings was jamming for the last Jags game of the season. Parking was tight, so I parked across the street on the road at the gas station (it wasn't clear I could park there but didnt get a ticket so woo woo!) Its hard to review Strings since they didnt have their own beers on tap. I was a bit surprised considering they have another location in town. Nevertheless ordering was quick and easy, enjoyed a beer on tap & then a high noon in cans. This space is huge and def a great option if you have a big gathering. Stools were cushiony and very comfy. Happy to have another sports bar option this side of town!

There is a new Strings at the Beach in the old Terrys Country Store. A perfect neighborhood gathering place. We arrived for lunch and found the space warm and welcoming. Lots of outdoor and in door seating The beer selection was minimal at our visit due to popularity of this newly opened Brewery. However finding a delicious beer was not a problem.I chose a "Red Cap" a delicious amber. We sat at the bar and were able to place our food order with the bartender. If you sit outside or inside in the massive gathering area you order at the counter. There were 3 of us and we ordered 3 different entrees. My grilled chicken sandwich was delicious. My friends had a brisket sandwich and wings. We loved everything and can't wait to go back.

I tried to come on a Saturday night and the parking lot was so packed I had to leave due to no spots. Came back on a Monday night and it was nearly empty. The entrance is also kind of weird, there are two but they are both inside of fences so it is easy to miss because you think you are looking for a "front" door, not two side doors. Once inside, you choose your own table, and they all had a different NFL team's logo which was fun. The service is walk up, and is two separate lines for beer and food. I can see how it could get super backed up on a busy night having to constantly order from different lines as opposed to having table service. The cheese fries + brisket were really good and loaded with brisket. Fries were crispy and the cajun ranch on the side was tasty. They had other options besides beers, such as wine and seltzers, however they only had 1 of their own beer. The rest were from other places.

Great addition to Jax Beach. Large brewery with plenty of TVs. They have a steady variety of draft beer plus seltzers and wine for the non-beer drinkers. Just came today for a few brews but frequently order food- our favorites are the wings, Mac n cheese, brussel sprouts, pretzel & cheese (pretzels from Cinotti's, yummm). The entire place is counter service unless you sit at the bar. Nice sports bar/brewery vibe that was needed at the beach. Kid-friendly but wish there were more games outside like the downtown location. We've enjoyed this place every time we've come

    Great beer

The burger was the best I've had in years! You can't beat the prices either. What a great lunch spot.

    Pulled pork & brussels
    Sophia P.

I wasn't super impressed with my meal. Pulled pork was drier than anticipated and the brussels were on a bed of lettuce that I didn't understand - BUT very good flavor! Brisket and fries were delicious. I wish the TVs in here were a little bigger too since we came to watch March Madness. I will say service was great though! Love the staff.

    The smoked wings
    Mike D.

Theres alot of tvs to catch the game on, lots of outdoor seating. The smoked wings were on point as always, never had them like that before. The beer is always tasty, had the Oktoberfest, and my goto, BulletBob. Definitely a good sports brewery to go to

While I wouldn't call this a go-to "work from a coffee shop all day" sort of spot. After asking around I found out this place has two floors the top floor has a space for daily office rentals. I am here on a Saturday and had no problem finding a place to work from on the first floor.  I asked Katie who was walking by and was super helpful about why it is called Ink Factory Brewing. This place used to be where Void Magazine was written and published hence "Ink Factory".  I was pleasantly surprised. The space is large enough that I found a quiet corner and even managed to snag a power outlet. The staff didn't seem bothered at all by me settling in with my laptop. That said, Ink Factory feels more like a place to hang out try the coffee, grab some food, maybe have a beer rather than a dedicated work spot. The space immediately gives off a relaxed beach vibe white walls, local artwork, surfboards, and beach apparel everywhere. It feels equal parts coffee shop, hangout spot, and beach town brewery. My coffee was spot on. Emily was awesome and helped me build a custom drink: an iced coffee with a shot of espresso, mocha syrup, topped with cold foam. Not only did it taste great, but she made it look so good that people sitting at the bar asked what I ordered. This kind of care and presentation really stood out.  If they're really busy, finding an outlet could be tough. Parking is also a bit limited for such a large space, but that's pretty typical for the beach area. Not the place I'd camp out every weekday, but definitely somewhere I'd come back to.

Power bowl- great combination of flavors and textures. Fish was cooked slightly less than the medium well asked for, but still super yummy. Smash burger, Grilled chx sandwich, wedge salad- good and flavorful. Fish and chips- ok. Fish was pretty overdone. Consensus on fries were a negative on flavor- somewhat bitter. Should have been plenty of time as the restaurant was not busy on a Wednesday at 5:30 PM. (Feb 25, 2026) We sat at the bar thinking that would be the fastest service especially with three bartenders working and hardly any customers. However, it took 10 minutes for one of them to look up from all the "very important tasks" they were doing and acknowledge us. When the bartender with the backwards cap and Jaguars shirt finally took our beer order and gave us menus, we made it known we had a concert to go to. He served our beers and said "no problem." We ordered immediately when we got our beers. It was "Wing it Wednesday" so we ordered the special. Five wings and fries. Should have been no problem to get our food in a timely manner. We had 45minutes left to eat. Then we waited some more, and waited and waited. Three bartenders and not even a glance our way. Why? Because they were all too busy chatting with this gal and her "date" especially our server. We might as well have been invisible. We finally got the attention of one of the other bartenders as our server had disappeared. (We were now down to 20 minute eat.) He acted confused as to why we were calling him over. I'm guessing it wasn't his "section" . I also am guessing we were the rude ones for interrupting his conversation with the young woman and her date. He checked on our food after we said we got to eat now! He thought that meant we wanted our food to go. Not sure why. We finally got our food with 10 minutes left to wolf down our meal and pay the bill. The wings and fries were good which is the only reason I'm giving 3 stars. But it's wings and fries. Can get that anywhere. Suffice to say is we will Not be eating at Hoptinger's again. A customer should be treated like a guest and not an inconvenience that cuts into staff's social time. And never make us feel like you're doing us a favor when we patronize your place of work. That's a sure way to a bad review and a loss of a customer.
