For some reason they are unable to process this and I have been locked out for two weeks. Four attempts to email support and three trips to a gym 20 miles away to talk to a real person have produced no results. And this is only my latest experience with this worthless customer service department. All in the effort to exercise at a place where machines break down and lockers dont lock.

I would guess that there were 6 or 7 bikes with 1 or 2 not working well or out of service. Since the recent equipment upgrade, there are only 2 basic upright bikes, and one has been out of service 2 times since installation. I am age 70, in recovery mode indefiniately, with nerve issues affecting my lower body (neuropothy), and hip trouble. Non-weight-bearing excercise is what I (and others) need. We simply want to remain mobile by hopping on the bike for 30 minutes or so and keep blood flowing to our lower extremities. Treadmill is not the answer and recumbent bikes are not comfortable for the hip. The Norwich location needs more upright bikes. Most staff that I have spoken to agree.

The instructors crank up the heat during yoga classes that are not designated at heated classes. There is no way to tell which classes will be heated ahead of time and there is no way to email the center to ask questions about the classes because the online "contact us" form on the website is designed so you can't read what you are writing. The people at the desk don't know anything about the classes. The new online calendar is difficult to even find classes and there is no longer a printable class schedule. Not so zen lately. Hope it gets better!

I got a membership at this place for the convenience of location. The gym at my school TRCC is…read moretiny, missing half the equipment, and has a slew of dudes that think they are God's gift to the world... so I paid to go here. At first I loved the fact that for the most part the place is completely empty giving you plenty of room, privacy, and freedom of equipment selection. The building is larger than it looks from the outside and for the most part the equipment is somewhat adequate. HOWEVER, the new 24 hour policy is tricky and left me locked out one night. They have a lock box outside the door and to get the code for it you pretty much have to convince the guy behind the desk (only a person there seldomly) and then type it in to retrieve the key to unlock the door. I did this and changed into my gym clothes and then went to put the key back in the box outside the door. This is where it gets annoying... the door is not actually unlocked after using the key so I was locked out with my keys, wallet, warm clothes, and cell phone inside late at night. A written warning would have been nice to avoid this horrible situation. Also this place has no water fountain... and IF there are any drinks in the cooler you must pay for them on the honor system. I was desperately thirsty and filled my water bottle up with the sink water (huge mistake), the sink water tasted like salty swamp water with chlorine in it and at first sip thought I may have accidently drank from someone's dip spit bottle. That and the advertised price of $209 for the year is a lie... it's well over $300 after a bunch of made up fees. Do not waste your time and or money in this place.

I left multiple voicemail and tried for the last few days to join with no response. When I asked her what her hour are she said she works "on call". Guess she doesn't understand what that means.
