She then walks you through each exercise so you know what to do, which was extra helpful for me since I'm not familiar with gym lingo. Her knowledge of the body and passion for her clients sets her apart. She pushes you for those gains but is great at reading if it's too much too. She's a great motivator and you will be shocked at what you can do after working with her! I always left my workout with Rebecca feeling accomplished, tired, and empowered! She truly cares for each of her clients and I highly recommend working with her! She also befriend my 2.5 yo and became gym buddies. They had the sweetest friendship and it was helpful to use her as motivation to get my daughter in the car faster to go to the gym.

I had two bouts of lymphoma from 2014 - 2016. Lots of chemo. I thought I was fit before I got sick, but...with Rebecca's expert guidance, I got back into way better shape than I was before the C-word hit me. She trains people of all ages, and aligns each session with individual goals and abilities. I got strong, I improved my fitness in every way, and I NEVER got injured from over-training. Thanks, Rebecca.

Robyn is by far the best trainer I've ever worked with, and I've got a long and sordid history of…read moretraining for both physical advancement and for working through injuries. I've trained in the US and in Canada, and Robyn has them all beat. To start, she sat and talked with me about my goals and my injuries, and I could tell from the beginning that she had a deep understanding of what I wanted to get out of our sessions. After an initial assessment, the training began, and she consistently pushed me outside my comfort zone but within my ability range. Anyone who deals with injuries knows that pushing too far too fast only results in damage and more time recuperating, and Robyn helped me find that perfect balance. Not once during our sessions did I find myself regretting pushing so hard, and I knew that she had her eye on my form, making sure that I did everything perfectly. She is a professional and takes her work seriously, and it shows. Not only did she work with me on a weekly basis, but she provided a written description of the exercises we had completed and how I should continue with them in our "off" time. If you've ever worked with another trainer, you'll know that is not standard! Long story short, I began struggling on V1s and finished, 8 sessions later, projecting on V6s with no sign of injury. Every time I am back in Golden, I make a point of coming back to the gym just to see Robyn. A great trainer, a great athlete, and a new friend.

Robyn is an excellent trainer who delivers results. Highly recommended.read more

This is an excellent high-end club. It isn't inexpensive. But it's a good value (IMO even at the…read morenew rates, if you can afford it) and they take care of the facilities. I have no idea what the people who are saying things are broken are talking about. I've been a member at both the Centennial and Parker locations for 10+ years and visited 2-3 times a week consistently since they opened. Except for VERY rare occasions I've never encounter a shortage of equipement or a consistently broken workout station. The front desk people have always and I mean always been warm and gracious especially Dave in the mornings. I don't recall any time the mens sauna was out for 4 months and when it was down for repair there was always the sauna by the pool as a back up. Every time I've every had an issue it was handled immediately. Things do break but that is true of any high volume-high use club especially after 10 years of consistent use. I'm not sure what the other reviewers expectations are but mine have been met and exceeded.

I love this gym but everything is always broken... Today I…read moregot on my first treadmill and it was unplugged, easy fix? Sure. Before plugging it in I move to another and the screen wasn't working. Okay moving on through my workout 1st stationary bike, screen broken. Moved to gym floor & started the circuit machines - only 1 of 6 not working today. Better than usual I suppose. Workout completed One of my favorite things about this gym is the recover area, so I went to do the leg compression. 1st set (size small) air leak in zone 1. Next set (size small) air leak zone 1. Sitting in 3rd chair down, decide I'll just stick with this set and skip zone one but the chair is broken and won't lean back at all. Decide if I am going to switch chairs at this point I should grab another set but then I was informed the other two sets left out all had leaks too. So I do my 10 minutes with leaks and sitting up straight. Swing by the front desk because I've been a member for over a year and this is pretty much a regular visit here. Once during a GTX class the front plate of the treadmill just fell off while the girl next to me was on it. All we could do was laugh Hate to complain but decide it's time to say something although I've heard from other members it won't change anything... I give it a shot. I report all the items while my husband orders us two protein shakes (about $21) and she said I can file a concern on the app or she can relay the message Monday. I have no intention of figuring out how to report each thing on the app, I honestly don't care that much because we can always switch gyms but I thought I'd give a heads up to anyone considering joining. I do love lots of things about this gym but it's not seeming to be worth the price tag currently. Some pros include the private sauna's in each bathroom and their additional coed saunas by the pool. The pool area in general is awesome, the kids love the slide and the snack bar (not outrageous but priced like you are at a beach club) They do have an adequate amount of equipment, so even with a bunch of broken things I can usually find enough other things to do to complete my workout. Large parking lot and great location.

If you are looking for a personal trainer that actually does weight training and won't take it easy…read moreon you, Brandon is a great one. He doesn't just force all of his clients to do the same thing, he tailors a workout regimen to the client's needs. He will give you as much information as you want about the approach he is taking, why you're doing what you're doing, and even give you as many pointers about personal health habits that need improving in or out of training. He's pretty flexible when it comes to what days/times you want to come in and will keep up with your schedule to make it work. He's also pretty down to earth and fun to talk to while you're training, all the while making you work. It's easier to work out if you're distracted from the pain, I think, so it's a good characteristic for a trainer. It's definitely worth it.

But, I wasn't making progress. Then I met Brandon. He is incredible. He uses old school weight training which is so much better then circuits. Aside from circuits, I had never lifted weights before. We started with weights low enough where I felt comfortable and then quickly started increasing weight. He knows how hard to push you so you improve, but do not get hurt. Brandon brings an abundance of training and experience to the table. He is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of the muscles groups and focuses on working all of them out. He has a way of explaining the movements so you can visualize how the exercise is working out the muscles. He is also very patient. He doesn't mind repeating the same thing over and over until I get it. If you want serious no-nonsense weight training with a true professional, Brandon is your man!
