Serious safety issue - my mom was wrongfully towed during a class…read more I'm writing as a concerned daughter, not just a reviewer. My mom is a paying member at this VASA location. While she was inside a scheduled yoga class, her car was wrongfully towed from the parking lot. She came out of class genuinely believing her car had been stolen. No call. No page that reached her class. No warning. She was effectively stranded. After a long and upsetting interaction with management, it was admitted that: * The tow was requested by the gym * The wrong car was towed * The car that actually caused the issue was not towed * Management initially denied involvement and blamed the towing company * My mom was forced to pay $309 to retrieve her vehicle This isn't just an inconvenience - it's a safety issue. You cannot tow a member's car without proper verification, clear communication, or accountability, especially when that person is actively inside your facility and unreachable by design. The parking lot is poorly marked, lacks clear lines, and appears to be a known issue - yet members are punished for it. The handling afterward was defensive, misleading, and unacceptable. I would strongly urge anyone considering this gym to think about how issues are handled when something goes wrong, because this experience showed a complete lack of responsibility and concern for member safety.

Ty created customized workouts (and continues to do so) that are tailored specifically to me and my goals. He starts out with a consultation to go over your BMI, macros, etc to ensure he knows how to make a customized plan thats right for you. I came to him with specific goals and he helped me reach them successfully and feel confident in my workouts and my form. Im tall, so "one stance doesn't fit all" and he taught me that which immensely improved my workouts and my low back and knee pain. Through COVID, Ty navigated the rules and regulations perfectly - helping me virtually stay on top of my fitness and also making sure my mental health through lockdown wasn't on the decline. Fitness is a health change and that touches all parts of health, which Ty recognizes and works with you on. When I've needed to take breaks or my hip flairs up - Ty helped to customize our workouts and work physical therapy into our session. I have recommended Ty to all my friends and peers, not only is he an incredible trainer but an all around incredible person who not only helped me with my fitness goals but also settling into a new state!

He puts safety and longevity first and will help you build a plan for power and changes that last.

About a year and a half ago, after having three children followed by nearly two years of pandemic…read moreliving, I knew that I needed to change up my fitness and nutrition habits. After many, many search sessions, I kept coming back to Body by Emilee and finally took the plunge to set up my initial consultation. And now, I'd probably describe myself as a superfan of Emilee's. From the get-go, Emilee was really approachable, kind, and very easy to work with. We started with nutrition sessions, and while I was definitely not eating the most healthy diet, I never felt bad talking about my habits. Emilee's approach is a "sure and steady" way of looking at things. Instead of something drastic we were able to look at my habits and make small, consistent changes over the course of the past year that has served me really well. Plus, nothing is off-limits. Emilee believes in creating a sustainable lifestyle of nutrition and exercise. And I'm more of a "moderation in everything" kinda gal, so I couldn't handle someone telling me there'd be no more, oh, I don't know, fried chicken or champagne or cake. From there, I was also able to add personal strength training with Emilee two days a week. While the sessions are never easy, Emilee is always very mindful about how hard we are working and adjusting my weights or my exercises to have maximum impact on my goals. And working out with her is honestly just a ton of fun. Beyond the excellent coaching aspect, Emilee has built a solid community of women around her, both the folks she coaches as well as just the people she knows in the world. She hosts regular events for everyone who trains with her that span a wide variety of topics, everything from a session on learning to add meditation into your routine to a spin class. Every time I attend one of the events, I marvel at how much I genuinely like everyone that is there. For me, a number on the scale wasn't (and isn't) my ultimate goal, but I have lost nearly 30 pounds over the past year, and a half (all the Covid weight and most of the baby weight), but best of all is how strong and healthy I feel. My body feels really good, and I feel really good about my habits these days. Finding Body by Emilee was like finding a light at the end of the tunnel, and my sessions with her have been such a bright light in each of my weeks.

Spending time to talk about tailwinds and how to make small changes created a lot of change quickly for me. She checks in with you and creates a holistic plan catered to your needs. I can't recommend her enough!  I will continue to leverage her further as coach in the future, as her method is aligned to what works for me!

I would just recommend that new people take it easy for the first classes and maybe take more of the strength days (Monday/Tuesday) and weekends. With strength classes, it would be easier to go easy. I echo other people when I say this is a type of group fitness class I can get behind. I have tried Orangetheory and several other group training gyms but usually quite after a few months. Fitwall changes up the workouts every 3 weeks and every day of the week is different. I personally love Monday- Wednesday's as they are more strength based and I like being challenged and encouraged by the coaches to up the weights when capable from week 1 to week 3 of that workout. Speaking of the coaches they are great. I have taken classes with all and all our encouraging and pump you up to keep going. I can't hold myself very accountable without a coach and others in the room doing the workout too, so this place is great for that. If my neighbor is gonna run up and down the wall targeting I guess I'll do it too! During this Covid time Fitwall has been great with online videos, park outside workouts and inside workouts. Yes we currently have to wear masks inside but it just ups the challenge! The coaches and staff have been keeping the gym extra clean and only letting 9 people in and they clean everything between classes and have these solid (while a little goofy your first day) curtains up between stations. Check the pics of inside currently. I've certainly toned up in the last few months and looking forward to more!

I've learned that what Katie and Chris offer at the Sloans Lake and RINO F45 sites is really really special. Not only do her trainers seriously rock as authentic, motivating and caring people (literally every single one of them - Tristan, Nisha, Kenzie, Jocelyn, Jess, Gabby, Anna, Zack) but they go above-and-beyond to ensure they take care of you before, during and AFTER the workouts. Case in point - they take at least 5 min of careful guided stretching after the workouts to make sure you don't accidentally injure yourself. They also ALWAYS have alternative modified moves in case you have an existing injury. I took this hands on support for granted because I was spoiled at Sloans Lake and recognized this serious differentiator while visiting other sites that didn't have that level of support. (If I sound like I am enamored, it is because I definitely am. :)
