I just wrapped up my first six weeks at Fit Defined Personal Training and I cannot recommend them enough. As someone who is always short on time and working crazy hours, I have not prioritized my health for a LONG time. Not to mention my nemesis the BOOTYBUILDER. We tell him to get rid of that machine every time but he doesn't listen lol. I've never been big about giving reviews, negative or positive, so when I do it's kind of a big deal. At the end of July/beginning of August it will be my two year anniversary of coming to Fit Defined. In that time I've lost about 60lbs. The first year I focused just on getting a rhythm and staying consistent with working out. The second I added nutrition into the mix. Brian has been my coach the entire time and has been great to work with. He pushes me when I need it but also gives me space to have easier days. It's been fun getting stronger and even more fun to be able to shop and feel totally comfortable. Moving into this next year I want to focus less on the scale and more on getting toned. I was living a sedentary lifestyle and I became extremely obese, in October 2024 I was a little over 300 pounds. Earlier this year I started to lose weight through a caloric deficit, but I decided that I wanted to do strength training as well to help with body recomposition. As a complete novice to weight lifting I knew I'd have to seek out professional help. That's when I started my training here in late June with Coach Bobby. Starting out was super simple, I reached out to Fit Defined via the contact form on their website. Later that day I got a call with Victor and he set me up with a free orientation session with Bobby. The orientation session is to help get a benchmark of what you're capable of doing in the gym. I really recommend being prepared for it with proper gym attire, water bottle, and towel. After the session is finished that's when you can decide if you want to continue with one of the different packages offered to meet your personal goals. I went with the package that includes 12 sessions, each session is 50 minutes long. Because it's a private gym you literally never have to wait for any machines and you'll bounce between circuits to maximize your time there. Fit Defined's gym is really nice, when you see it in person you realize how big the facility actually is. I go on Tuesday's and Thursdays in the afternoon and it's typically just 3-6 of us in the entire gym at a time. Parking is never an issue and the entire staff is incredibly nice, even the other coaches know and greet me by name. At this point I've had 28 training sessions with Coach Bobby. He's very knowledgeable and is able to give feedback that helps with my form and execution of various exercises. He is always tracking my various workouts to help progressively overloading my muscles. Having a coach that sets up all of the weights and machines properly is a massive help. Every once in a while there is an exercise that I really struggle with, but he'll make adjustments to the routine so I'm able to do a variation of it. Bobby does an amazing job of encouraging me without pushing me beyond my limits. Having a personal trainer has certainly helped me with keeping myself accountable. I'm down 50lbs so far and I have about another 80 to go for my goal weight. If anyone is out there considering Fit Defined for their fitness journey I definitely recommend giving them a chance. read more

I was referred to Brian at Fit Defined by a friend almost a year ago. From the beginning, Brian custom-tailored a workout plan to fit my needs and limitations. I'm heading into my senior years and had never exercised on a regular basis, so I definitely wasn't in shape, and I had zero knowledge about how to get started. Brian started at the beginning with me and quickly recognized I had limited range of motion in my shoulders as well as some other limitations. He realized some equipment and exercises were better suited for me than others. With his guidance, I made progress every week, and I always feel a sense of accomplishment after every workout. He takes the time to demonstrate the proper mechanics and form on each piece of equipment or exercise, and explains the purpose and goal of each one. He's very careful to ensure I don't get injured, and keeps close tabs on how I'm feeling during each portion of the workout. He encourages me to up my game on each exercise but lets me decide what I'm comfortable with and how much I want to push myself. I almost always accept the challenge and achieve new personal bests on a regular basis. I've come a long way since my first visit and I'm proud of myself for what I've accomplished in the last year at Fit Defined with Brian's expertise. I love this place! The personal training is great and curated to what my goals are. My goals were to gain overall strength because before I couldn't lift at all. Now I'm lifting up to 105lbs! What I also love is that they are flexible and understanding of your schedule, which as a student is amazing.
