This is my first visit since they moved locations (just around the corner) and the upgrade is incomparable! There is an alcove in the back with a private couch seating area and another table in chairs (albeit facing the bathroom). There is also a countertop with high top chairs facing the window in the front. The ordering counter is huge! There are so many options for acai bowls- and it is so nice to be able to select the base, the blends, and the fruit on top - or select from one of their many pre-ordained options. Amazing açai bowls that are perfect for hot weather! Usually açaí is too sweet for me but theirs is just right. I went with my friend and the ladies at the counter were able to split one portion into two bowls for which made the perfect amount for me. They even made it pretty. There is some seating inside by the window and the back has an Instagram/picture area. They had parking but also was only a 5 min walk from the main area of Delray Beach which made it perfect to walk over from. read more

This place is amazing for that quick pick up kind of day. I was craving some kind of salmon and wanted it to be healthy. Well it was healthy and delicious. Love that they put exact amount of calories and stats on each container. I got asian glazed salmon which was on a bed of brown rice and sautéed veggies. I got home and instead of microwaving the container I put the food items on the stove and heated it it up for a few minutes. Tasted amazing. They have a good mix of entrees that are fish, chicken, meat, vegetarian/vegan etc. They also have side items and soups. In addition they make fresh smoothies/juices/açaí bowls. This is meant to be a pick up stop and is not a restaurant for dine in. Side Note- My only suggestion would be: I wish I could bring my own glass containers etc since I don't like food items in plastic containers. ~ read more

I am buying a Kick Berry smoothie and a Carrot Walnut Muffin as I type this review. I've gotten several smoothies from here and it's never gone wrong yet, they get it right every time. This is the perfect choice for people following a healthy clean diet or for people just momentarily craving a healthy snack. I also recommend the Sweet Monkey smoothie. Hello, Fit Food Express. Where have you been all my life? A store in a tiny little nondescript strip mall in Delray that will serve you premade/prepacked meals (that you choose from their row of refrigerated goods). Not only are these meals tasty and ready to be heated - they are LOW CALORIE!! The nutrition stats are nicely labeled on each container of food so you know exactly what you are getting. Oh.. and let me just tell you about their low cal cookies. Made with almonds and agave nectar, these are some of the best cookies I have ever had. And for them to be so low in stats has made me one seriously happy girl. Meals usually range from $6-$7, some of the more expensive foods will of course cost you a bit more (filet mignon, anyone?), but I don't believe there is anything above $10. Good concept. Not done right. Yes the cookies are good but not worth $4 for 3 small cookies and being that it is one of the few things they sell well, however they have been known to run out during the day leaving customers disappointed. The food is nothing really special and they need to improve it or they will not make it. For $6-7 there are better options out there. I don't know what the background of the owners are so I don't know if the nutritional information is all that accurate. I think Brenna must be a friend of the owners, I have no relationship to them I am giving an honest review of this place. Don't go out of you way to go there. read more

Great concept, bleak food! A better quality then a lean cuisine, but that's about it. I've eaten here a few times, as I live close. Everything tastes like it came out of a can, even the turkey in their chili. It could be so much better. I do like that the calories, carbs, fat are on the container. If your trying to loose weight and really working on portion control, this program is probably useful. If you looking for a tasty lunch, probably not. if the food quality was a little better, this place would be great. Another plus, it's very quick to get in and out. Most items need to be microwaved. I personally have lost 11 lbs eating these meals. The meals are balanced with protein, fat and complex carbs. The proportions are the right size to satisfy and not over eat. I eat 5 small meals a day every 3-4 hours to maintain my blood sugar level and stop cravings. When I do have a craving I love the black bean brownies as they satisfy as well as the jodi peanut butter bites. They have a large selection of gluten free entries which is great for me. All the meals are excellent but my favorites are the fit salmon meal, gluten free turkey pasta, sirloin steak, and the chicken with rice. All in all this is an excellent choice for those that want to eat right and especially for me as a single guy as I don't have to spend hours in the kitchen to put together a balanced meal. I absolutely Love this place! I have always tried to eat right and exercise on a daily basis, but never was able to get past a certain point....until now. I have reached weight and fitness goals that I've never reached before, and I owe a lot of that to Fit Food! As a single person, its always hard to try and make my own healthy meals and not eat the same thing every day. I eat fit food meals for lunch and dinner every day, and am leaner than I have ever been in my life, as it really helps with portion control (my biggest problem). They say that diet is 80% of your weight and fitness goals, so this helps me stay on track with my calorie intake. The staff is wonderful - always friendly and helpful. And, I have no affiliation or relationship with them as suggested by the bad reviewer on this site... I love the food, concept, and wish they would bring back those almond cookies - I don't care what they cost...those things were great, and I'd continue to buy them at whatever price! read more

I moved here from Dallas 2 years ago where I was buying similar product from a store called Simply Fit Meals. When I had ventured out to other similar stores in Dallas, it wasn't as good as Simply Fit so I didn't venture out in Florida. Becoming bored with my homemade lunch options I finally decided to try this place and I am pleased that I made that choice. The food is excellent! It makes eating healthy so much easier having a demanding job with two kids. I am looking forward to going back to buy more. My one complaint is that going on a Sunday, most food expires by Wednesday so difficult to buy for an entire week. I went again last night and the same food set to expire today was there with no new dated food. I would have spent more money if I had seen options out past one day to expire. It is a drive for me to go to this store as I live in Boca so not easy to stop in often. read more
