Gym was ok. Problem is outside of signing up everything has to be done online...including cancelling the membership. After cancelling all of our memberships the online company, Paramount Acceptance did NOT process my cancellation even though I have the emails to prove this. Fit for Life submitted our names to a collection agency so now we're left to clean-up their mess. Recommend joining a legit gym. read more

I hate leaving this review, as the gym is completely fine, and reasonable. The payment group they go through is terrible. They require a 30 day notice for cancellation and charge another months membership after cancellation. Not to mention that customer service was incredibly rude. As a gym goer my entire life I have never had to submit a 30 days request to cancel a membership. If this gym did payments and requests in house I would consider going back. read more

Photos to come. I was surprised when I tried to check-in and there was no listing on Yelp yet for Fit For Life 24. I'm completely shocked that there is a gym open 24hrs in Apex. I joined online because this girl needed a gym ASAP and this was the closest one I could find where I'm staying in Apex. I love that you can join month to month without any crazy increases in price. This gym has everything I need, since it just opened a year ago all the equipment is nice and new. Treadmills, ellipticals, body pump classes, and yoga. Lucky for me my schedule allows me to come during usually non-busy parts of the day. I'm curious to see what the early mornings, and after work crowd looks like here. I haven't had a chance to check out the yoga or body pump classes yet but I will be sure to jump on it next week. They offer complimentary towels when you walk in and the gym in general was very clean. Not that I was looking for it since I don't have a need, but I didn't see any child care here so be aware of that if your looking for it. Plenty of weight machines and free weights to go around. Their website advertises a bootcamp as well I will be finding out more info. on that in the future. As long as I can get on a machine and feel comfortable where I'm at I'm happy. The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome here. Cheers to my butt getting back to the gym after a two month hiatus I highly don't recommend taking that long of a break ever. read more

Fit For Life 24 - Apex - Boot Camps Near Me - Apex, North Carolina

This is a 24 hour gym that you can go to outside of business hours, which is awesome. The monthly rate is pretty reasonable for what you get. It is not a huge gym and doesn't have all the perks that some other gyms have, but if you want to just get a workout in, this gym has enough equipment for it - row machines, treadmills, ellipticals, and free weights. It has one cycling room and one group fitness room. Because it is not a huge gym, working out gets a little tough during peak hours. They also sometime have group classes in the general workout area, which really limits where people can actually work out. There were many times where I needed to cut my workout short because it was too crowded. I have taken a few of the group classes and enjoyed them. Most of the instructors were great. Unfortunately, most of the group classes did not work out with my schedule. If you are looking for a basic gym where you can do some weight training, get on a few machines, or grab a class- this gym is good for you. read more

Clean smaller gym and all the equipment you need. Could get busy from 5-7, but what gym doesn't. Everything is kept tidy and everyone minds their business but when you do have to interact everyone's friendly. Sketchy behavior. I've attempted to join four times including today. Their phone goes to messages and it is full, so can't leave a message. I've stopped in and had to wait for a guest to open the door, then there is no one working there. Today, there was a woman behind the counter messing on her phone. After a while she finally looked up and I asked if I can speak to someone about joining. She said no, they are closed. The web and door says they are open and have someone working today. So, I asked if she means closed just today or what. She said no longer open on weekends. Yet there were several people working out today! Very sketchy. Is this a legit business? Dirty facility with many broken equipment. They are also not very accommodating especially due to the Covid-19 circumstances. Would not recommend going here. I've been coming to this gym for about 3 months now. It's very convenient to where I live/work and the staff is always friendly. I love the environment and staff is always willing to demonstrate how to use equipment. I had the opportunity of working with Alecia, one of their personal trainers for 2 months. When I met her, I was at 28% body fat and after 2 months 2x a week with her I am down to 23%. I am now at the gym 4 times a week and feel like I have enough knowledge to carry on. Alecia is easy to work with and caters to you. She will push you but within your limits. I 100% recommend her. read more

I really do like this place, but I do have one suggestion: Try to avoid going there while there is a group training going on. The PA system is DEAFENING! I'm not even in the class, and I can't even hear my own music while I'm working out in the main gym. They have a location in Greenville, so maybe they have the speakers up loud enough to be heard there. :) Other than that, it's a pretty good place to go for reasonable rates and just enough equipment to get the job done. You'll love this gym...and I hate gyms! I always feel comfortable in here. I usually go during the morning or early afternoon. The younger people come in late afternoon or early morning. I have been a member of this gym for a few years now and love it. The people, equipment and classes are great.

I've been a member for 5 years and it fits my needs perfectly. I tend to work out in the morning and it's never very crowded. Whether I'm looking to use free weights or a piece of fitness equipment, there's hardly ever a wait. There's always enough cardio equipment and as best I can tell the fitness classes are full without being crowded. All that said, if you're looking for a gym with sparkling new equipment and super clean bathrooms and showers, this isn't your gym. It's clean enough but I go home to shower after my workout. read more

After being told our account was cancelled successfully in November, this gym charged us not only once for $65, but again for $25. I have no idea where these charges come from as we only paid $40 a month in our contract. They have neglected to respond to us as of yet, probably because they already have our $90 they basically stole. Avoid this Gym like the plague and protect your bank accounts as they are certainly out for them. Also, take a minute to review complaints on the Better Business Bureau website so that you can see first hand how the Owner of this company responds to complaints. I wish I could give this place zero stars. I feel like it's being run by a bunch of old ladies with dementia. I was told my membership was month to month, only to attempt to cancel 6 months later and be told I had signed up for a 1-year membership. Total robbery. Don't take anyone for their word here. My 1-year has now expired and attempts to cancel have been a nightmare. It's been a sea of shady information and unresponsiveness. Been an active member for just over 3 years. Always clean, secure and well equipped. Convenient location off Hwy 55. Owner and staff are helpful and actually listen to their customers. I give them a BZ or Bravo Zulu. Look it up. Most of the negative reviews are from people who did not keep their part of the deal when they signed up. Stop the blame game. My high school age son joined for what he thought was a $19.99 membership turned out to be a year membership and $98.98 was taken out of his account. Needless to say after speaking with Director CHRIS S. who assured me he was taking care of it - DID NOTHING - THEN lied stating he spoke to corporate and "was going to call me today" but wants me to come in and tour the gym - NEVER! If you don't mind waiting months for water fountains or broken elyptical TV screens to be repaired, this is the gym for you. No matter how many times you bring it to someone's attention, nobody takes "ownership" of getting problems fixed. They just tell you they'll let someone know. In short, no one seems to CARE. Unless you have an abnormal schedule, good luck getting any kind of equipment during peak hour. Very money oriented company, that's what everything there goes back to. Then again isn't that all businesses? Staff is nice, until a problem arises. In that case you will witness the most obscene costumer service ever. I paid an arm and a leg when I signed up, I was told it was so high because I paid my first and last month. When I went to cancel my membership I was informed I didn't and they were all crazy enrollment fees. I was printed off a receipt of what I paid they day I signed up. Upon further investigation I realized that $60.00 more was charged onto my bank account then this receipt stated. They couldn't seem to explain that, I'm just going to assume that they thought I wouldn't notice and would drop the issue. I was told this extra money charged was a "processing fee". Per their website a processing fee isn't charged for year long memberships, only an enrollment fee. When I brought this up I was told that online offers different pricing then in store. (well that makes total sense). Someone wanted to hook me into a membership, and was fabricating charges. When I called up there a few days later, I even asked about how there was no "processing fee" for year long memberships, and the consultant agreed with me. I had other people with me when I was told I paid my first and last months fees when I signed up. I had two consultants sit there and tell me I was wrong. I was informed that whether or not I paid that when I signed up, or what I was told, I am in a contract for 12 months and they will continue to draft it out of my account. I think my favorite part of the whole ordeal was the extreme unprofessional-ism displayed by not only the stuff, but the owner/manager (shes one of the two). I signed my forms to cancel my membership. There was important information on there such as draft dates, draft amounts, dates automatic payments will stop. The form was filled out by a staff member and I signed it. I handed it back to the staff member and I see him changing stuff on the sheet! Marking stuff out and writing new stuff in. Am I the only person who finds it a little obscene that these people are having you sign stuff, then changing it after the fact? I told him to fill out another so I could review it and I was looked at like I was crazy. Anyway, moral of the story; They are all super nice at this establishment, but it is all superficial. They just want your money. If you are considering this gym I urge you to get print outs, receipts, and get them to sign something with an explanation of charges. Or you could save yourself some money and go to a better establishment. Planet fitness is a much better establishment, cheaper, less issues.....go there instead. If you don't feel like driving to it, lifetime fitness is very local. It may be a little more but at least you won't be lied to. read more

I like going to this gym as well as I could like going to any gym!!! I like the clientele, the trainers and the people that work here. The times when I can go, mid- morning or mid- afternoon it is not crowded and is perfect for people my age. ( older) The clientele in the morning and in the evening after about four is younger and more fit! I think you will like it! read more

It's awful and I would not recommend anyone join! I have belonged to over 10 gyms and this is by far the worst. It's crazy to me that they charge $25/month unless you happen to stumble upon a pay in full special. From the start, I have had issues. My husband and I signed up on Black Friday at $149 for a year. This may seem like a good deal but when you do the math, they are still charging more than it is to join to Fitness Connection - a MUCH larger gym. This gym is so tiny and they sold us on the fact that it was 24 hour access and that they were going to expand into the space next to them - BOTH OF WHICH WERE LIES. I go to the gym at 430am and have had multiple occurrences where I have gotten out of bed at 4am to get to the gym and have the door not open. I have addressed this issue each and every time only to be assured that they "have fixed the problem and it won't happen again". If you talk to any other early birds, they will tell you it's happened to them multiple times as well. On the flip side, if you decide to work out after work - expect to have to step all around trainers who take up the entire space and have no common courtesy for other people working out. It's so ridiculously crowded you can barely get through a set of exercises without someone stepping in your space. To top it all off, go on a Sunday morning where some meatheads decide to work out WITH NO SHIRTS on all because there is no staff present to regulate it. I have repeatedly requested a refund for myself and my husband, mainly because of the issues with facility access. The owner finally agreed to give me a refund but refused to give my husband one all because we technically signed up on separate contracts to get the "special". SAVE YOUR MONEY AND THE AGGRAVATION - go to a different gym!! read more

I would not recommend this gym to anyone. After being told my account was canceled in 2012 I find out that they have continued to try and charge a card that the expiration date has expired. In turn they send me to collections without even a phone call. Fast forward to November of 2014 when I actually find all of this out and I call the gym and speak with the lady that handles billing. She was rude, unwilling to compromise, and basically told me it was not her problem. After multiple attempts to get in touch with the owner with no success, I finally get the GM on the phone and he basically tells me the same as billing dept. For a company to pride themselves as a Christian based business they are very unethical. After this happened to me I did a search of them to see if anyone else has had any problems with them. What I found was they do this to just about everyone and they have a terrible name. Their rating on bbb is an F. If you are looking for a gym go somewhere else.
