The interior was much more open than I was expecting (not visible from outside the suite/building) but the sauna and the ice bath room had fairly large windows. I didn't mind, myself, but if others were there it could cause concern if they wanted to be naked for their sessions. I had a great time in the cold plunge area, which was kept a little warm by the heat coming off of the unit used to cool the water. The tub was large enough for most people. I wish the water was a little bit deeper or the tub a bit taller, as I was lying on my back and had to use the back of my head and my toes to hold myself underwater, it was just a more awkward position than I'd have liked for cold plunges (I'd only ever done a cold plunge in a 50F swimming pool, so being in a comparably smaller tub was new). The woman at the desk was great and showed me around before my session. They have memberships as well as combos which are a pretty good value.

The inside is clean, modern, and welcoming. The front office staff was very friendly, and check-in was easy. The pricing was excellent through Groupon, which made it an easy treatment to try. The IPL treatment itself was comfortable. I only really felt the laser around my temples and nose, and afterward my face just felt a little tight--no significant pain or discomfort. My only disappointment was the communication from the nurse. She wasn't unfriendly, but she wasn't very engaging either. There may have been a language barrier, but very little was explained to me about the treatment. She did recommend upgrading to a different laser that she said would produce more noticeable results, but I declined and stayed with the IPL. I would have appreciated more explanation about the differences between the treatments and why she felt the other option would be better for my skin. I also wasn't given any post-treatment instructions. Before leaving, I had to ask if there were any restrictions or aftercare recommendations. I was simply told I could continue using my skincare as usual. The only other question I was asked was whether I had sunscreen. I mentioned I had some at home, and she did offer and apply sunscreen before I left, which I appreciated. However, after any laser treatment, I expected at least a brief overview of aftercare--things like avoiding sun exposure, heat, strenuous exercise, active skincare ingredients (retinoids and exfoliating acids), and what to expect over the next several days. Overall, the office itself was nice, the front desk staff was welcoming, the Groupon pricing was excellent, and the treatment was comfortable. My experience would have been much better with more patient education and communication. I'm looking forward to seeing my results over the next few weeks, and if they're good, I would definitely consider returning.
