You can even go to the Wheaton Vasa and to follow the teachers you like, sometimes they teach there too! I love them all!! The kid care is great too, I put my son there when he wasnt in school. The dance fitness classes at night are fun, I like Marchanne at Wheaton. Been going about a year, but have yet to try Studio Red or cycling! Hoping to them soon, just to check it out.

At first I was worried that I would get too sweaty or it would be hard to breathe, but it was great! I feel good! This was also my first time working out in 11 weeks because I broke my leg and I was able to use the full body workout bike so I used my arms to help move my legs as well. Friendly staff! Nate and Annette were so accommodating! When I first arrived, I was excited to see my name on the chalkboard welcoming me.. Nate gave me a tour and explained how everything works as well as the different options available. We sat and talked for awhile after I worked out as well. Very friendly and available to help. I originally signed a prepaid contract with Xsport but LA Fitness bought the business so now they are not fulfilling their end of the paid membership contract. I paid extra for tanning (no longer exists) and had extra months bonus from referring a customer. I have emailed corporate with zero response, been calling facilities with no solution and now they seem to not pick up the phone when I call in a row to find the real person that can provide any kind of a response.

The wooden roof will cave in anytime and the sauna floor is very dirty. Also, someone keeps stealing the sauna temperature control knob. 2. They need to sweep the gym floor; there is chalk everywhere. 3. Men's restroom is filthy. 4. Shortage of paper towels. 5. There are dumbbells and plates everywhere on the floor. They need to hire someone to place all the weights in their correct place. 6. They need a wooden dead lifting platform so people don't drop the weights on the floor. Also, this gym is getting super-crowded. Not sure what's going on.

So, I went in for a consultation and was hooked. It's not a large location, but the heart is large in this one my friend! I now train with Kevin Ryan twice a week in a small training group. The price is reasonable for the small group and the workout is never boring. Kevin is always available via text or phone if I have nutrition questions or questions about anything else. He is encouraging and I look forward to my workouts. If you're looking to lose weight, or improve your health, I highly recommend checking this place out. You'll feel supported, encouraged, and most of all - you'll see results.

Update as of 1/31/25…read more I did get a response from the social media department. First from Lauren and then Ryan and they escalated this issue. A couple days after my emails with Ryan and Lauren, I was contacted by Marco. Marco is the franchise owner of this location and he was AWESOME!!! Marco was very attentive and professional. He listened and empathized and most importantly, he resolved the issue immediately. I sent him the link to a shower rack on Amazon (that I sent to Yaqub weeks ago) and Marco had it ordered the same day and it was delivered and installed within 2 days. Well done Marco and thanks Lauren and Ryan for escalating this issue. Although I am happy this issue is finally resolved, this never should have taken this long so I hope that issues communicated in the future are expedited/escalated as they should be.

I think what Lifetime fitness is doing to it's senior members that are part of Medicare silver…read moresneakers program on Medicare is not only ridiculous but seems like age discrimination, They now want members that are part of senior sneakers to wait for 5 1/2 hours AFTER they open for us to be able to check in and I happily canceled my membership when I heard about their new and unfair rules. I won't really miss Lifetime being that it's annoyingly loud in the club and crowded much of the time, but the new hours for Silver sneakers members is the last straw.

If your primary interest is basketball, don't bother considering Life Time Fitness as an option…read more This location, and most others, has sacrificed half of the original basketball court space for pickleball. Due to the limited space, you'll regularly end up shooting around with 3 to 5 people on a single hoop. If you do luck into a time when the court isn't overcrowded, you'll have to endure 2 incredibly annoying sounds ad nauseam: the percussive sound of a pickleball being hit every 3 seconds (cuts through noise canceling), and boomer pickleball players screaming after every volley with the intensity of having just witnessed a walk-off grand slam in a World Series game. The final straw was being told to leave the basketball court due to it being reserved as spectator space for pickleball (see photos). Life Time is no longer a viable place for basketball. Like a casino, the current focus is on extracting as much revenue as possible from a demographic that has little time left. Hopefully, the trend fades away in unison with its primary demographic.
