He's incredibly attentive during our sessions, correcting my form and pushing my goals each week. I'm a competitive person, and I thrive off challenges and raising the bar. My goals with TWD have been to gain weight and gain muscle, and for the first time in my life I actually see and feel the results of my hard work. I was anxious as I was recovering from an injury but my physical therapist told me any good trainer would know how to adjust. I had just received my tax refund and I was ready to find a trainer. I'm gonna be 30 this year and my older brother is getting married in August. It was time to lock in. I was set up with Stefan and thank goodness I was. He is the sweetest person I have ever met and I really felt like I built community because of him. Bri is a client AND their main point of contact for setting up paperwork and payments and I grew so close to her. Her and Stefan made working out fun again for me. I was so happy to come and work out and it never felt like a chore. The workouts are tough but very do-able. At train with dave they want to make sure it becomes habit, not just a phase. For my final 12 week photos that I've attached, I'm supposed to wear the same outfit but I was in the middle of moving. That's the only reason I couldn't continue in person but I love Stefan and the program so much that I am continuing with virtual training. The results speak for themselves. The workouts are strong, but that's not the differentiator. The community is. You see the same people consistently, and over time it becomes a tight, supportive group. It's rare to find a gym where you actually look forward to who's going to be there, not just what's programmed. Programming is thoughtful and well-balanced -- strength + high-intensity cardio -- and it never gets stale. Chris (owner/instructor) is especially good at reading people and pushing you just past where you think your limit is. You end up doing more than you expected, regularly. There's also real connection beyond the floor. They organize occasional events -- I recently did a cooking class with ~20 women from the gym -- and it adds another layer to the experience. I've always been active, but this is the first time in 20+ years I've been this consistent. That's not accidental -- it's because of the environment.
