They do have a restaurant, Trophy Room, which provides great libations and scrumptious eats. It's a one stop shop!

There is a short walk from where you park to the location of the tree house (and the other units as well). Bert was AMAZING to help us with our cooler and luggage. Next time (and there will be many!) we'll pack lighter as we brought a lot of what they already had. Really just a change of clothes and some toothpaste is all you need here! The outdoor shower, located under the main house, is lovely and well lit. We showered in the evening before bed and felt very safe and comfortable. This is also where the sink is to wash dishes, etc. There's a gas grill as well as a Coleman stove in addition to a fire pit! The tiki torches around the fire pit area are a nice touch. The composting toilet is in a separate room inside the tree house with a door for privacy. The directions are clearly marked and once you get used to it, it's a breeze to use. The space itself was nicely appointed and decorated tastefully and sparingly. One of the days we were there it rained, and we spent the day relaxing, chatting, napping, snacking all dry and cozy in this little slice of contemplative heaven. Highly recommend if you just need to get off the grid for a few days, although there is electricity and fair cell service so you can still Wordle if you must. We're headed back next month, and the month after that,, and the month after that to try out the tiny house and the Octagon house by the brook. For many years we've had problems with the AC in our room. It seems to go into some kind of eco mode during the night. It only runs if there's movement in the room which is not ideal if trying to sleep. on numerous occasions we've complained. Engineering has come to our room and sometimes they would bypass the conservation mode. On this last visit I went to the front desk the morning after our first night and they did admit people do complain. We had booked a 3 night stay but left after two. Neither my husband or I could bear another night of getting on and off the bed to get the AC going. So we came home with a fuller wallet because our play time was cut short. Guys, this is penny wise pound foolish. Shame on Mohegan Sun for not ensuring sleeping comfort for their guests.

We parked, toured the casino, grabbed a sandwich and took advantage of the clean restrooms. We were at the Riverside park when it started sprinkling, so went back to parking garage. We found out they had a free party going upper level of garage with a cover band. We listened to the band, grabbed some food hot off the grill for a reasonable price and prepared to view the fireworks from the cover of the garage. Mother -Nature had other plans, weather turned nasty, band shut-down, and for safety we were moved to lower levels. We still saw the fireworks and exiting afterwards was not terrible. The Staff from Security to Food Venders were polite and helpful the whole evening. They saved our families 4th of July in Springfield.

Not here! Springfield has a lot of Violence and drug activity and I am surprised that MGM built a casino there. They should have kept their brand at Foxwoods. Inside the casino the layout is pretty tight, slot machines are very close together. We didn't try any restaurants because we had just come from dinner. We didn't stay long - didn't like the vibe.
