The outdoor shower, located under the main house, is lovely and well lit. We showered in the evening before bed and felt very safe and comfortable. This is also where the sink is to wash dishes, etc. There's a gas grill as well as a Coleman stove in addition to a fire pit! The tiki torches around the fire pit area are a nice touch. The composting toilet is in a separate room inside the tree house with a door for privacy. The directions are clearly marked and once you get used to it, it's a breeze to use. The space itself was nicely appointed and decorated tastefully and sparingly. One of the days we were there it rained, and we spent the day relaxing, chatting, napping, snacking all dry and cozy in this little slice of contemplative heaven. Highly recommend if you just need to get off the grid for a few days, although there is electricity and fair cell service so you can still Wordle if you must. We're headed back next month, and the month after that,, and the month after that to try out the tiny house and the Octagon house by the brook.
