Women of a certain age should avoid this gym. The owners seem to only be interested in young men in particular. If you look like me you're invisible. The owner first showed me a bike and said "don't worry, there is no weight limit." I have a great sense of humor and giggled internally, mostly because he thought that would go over my head. I calmly asked him why he would say that and he stammered. He may have thought I'd shrink. No sir, wrong lady. The Women's Locker Room is in need of a nice paint job to make it appealing. I can't tell you how many times I've gone in every stall to find one stall with toilet paper. Sometimes none found. One positive is that I've seen machines cleaned and vacuumed daily. The cleaning people on the floor are friendly and kind. There are a couple of trainers who made eye contact and spoke to me directly and I appreciated it. I had no luck making an appointment with any trainer. After making an appointment with one, he had a woman call me back to ask who I was and how I got an appointment with him. Shame for him, I was willing to buy a package from him after my first visit. I then had another trainer appointment and had car trouble so called to cancel 48 hours in advance and she called me back and blasted me that her time was valuable too. I gave 48 hours notice. Their arrogance was a lost opportunity for them. I found an excellent trainer outside this gym. As for the muscular brother/owner. Yeesh "dude" - you've officially won the "Get Over Yourself" Award. People come in all sizes and shapes. There was another woman here who wrote about you in particular. It's not a one-off. I've had a similar experience. I did not speak or complain to you or anyone in that gym ever and you still managed to do that to me. read more

I took 2 conditioning classes that were very slow. I quit after the 2 classes. They won't refund any of the $99 enrollment fee or $24 monthly fee. The following month Fitness 19 billed me again. They said I cancelled on the 16th and billing is done on the 15th. You have to appear in the gym to cancel, no over the phone. I was on Ireland that week. How could I appear in the gym if I was in Ireland. It's a SCAM gym. Don't give them your credit card. The owner threatened to send me to collections if I dispute the charge. This is a spacious, relatively clean gym environment, but there are problems. Several times I have notice puddles of water on the floor where members have spilled their water bottles, and I always let a staff member know when I see this, as I wouldnt want another member to slip and fall. A few times a staff member has said, "OK thanks, I'll get to it" instead of getting right to it, and so I've had to say, "Come, I'll show it to you where it is." In addition, the hand sanitizer dispensers are often empty for weeks at a time, explained as "We're waiting for a shipment of sanitizer." With so many pieces of apparatus handled by so many people sweating, sniffing, coughing, shouting, spewing, it is essential to stop the spread of pathogens. True, one could march back to the restroom sinks to wash, but members are less likely to sanitize that way than if the sanitizers are filled and available right on the gym floor. And lastly, while most of the members - both male and female, young and old are courteous and pleasant, the staff members are always pleasant as well, except for one of the managers: In a unprovoked incident, a well-muscled male gym member accosted me, followed me as I headed for the exit, and then loudly embarrassed me - this was witnessed by a kind and sympathetic young female staffer who suggested on the spot that the man should have his membership revoked. The manager was informed of the incident, but in the end he suggested that I "leave the gym if you are uncomfortable here" (!!) So I have come to believe that if you're a man, or if a young, beautiful woman (and I am neither) you may be treated very differently here. But hey: older people, especially older females, are frequently dismissed in many situations. That's just how it is. However, as the majority of the staff and members are great, here I am. read more

Great gym overall. The staff members are very pleasant and they have plenty of equipments/machines. They have multiple dumbbells, squat racks, benches, stair masters etc. The facility offers ample parking and the locker rooms are always clean. So I joined this gym a day ago after taking a tour with Nick...I was looking for the "next level" gym.... I've loved lifting since I was in high school but recent health issues kept from walking let alone lifting. I was given the all clear roughly a month ago and joined the first place I found...fine gym but missing human connection and looked and felt like all the cookie cutter gyms, equipped with the same gear nothing more nothing less. After going for about a month 5-6 days a week, I started looking for what I really wanted...I found Fitness 19 in midland and was hooked after playing around with the 3d tour.... This place is anything but basic top tier gear, multiples of everything, and clean, new functioning equipment. They have I body scans, great locker rooms and Nick and the team are constantly adding to it...I'm excited about the upcoming sauna and red light therapy! But the one thing this place has that's really special are the people...the staff I met are professional, kind and genuinely love what they do and truly want to help and get to know you. Lack of professionalism! The Owners can't even put shoes on to give tours? Multiple times I've walked in and found other staff members without shoes on. I understand the gym's opening date was later then they expected but how did they not have applications for the cable machines yet?! After two months of being open. Go to Dicks Sporting Goods... it's had been on order for over a month then when you told me last you ordered some. When the gym opened their locker room/ showers they didn't have shower curtains up and still a month after that they didn't even have toilet paper dispenser/holders installed. Talk about germs. How many people were touching the toilet paper roll! This gym was doomed to fail. Covid might be the best thing to have happened to it. -I was a member prior to covid at Midland Park. read more

I am not a member and I am not really sure if I want to join a gym again, but I had received a flyer in the mail and went to check out the space. From what I saw on the tour, it looked like a very nice gym. I like to do floor activities and there is space for that. My last gym was Crunch, where the babies/members don't clean up their equipment when they are done and there is almost no floor space. I did not see any of that at this gym. Everything looked clean and it all of the equipment was in its place. The only thing some people may find lacking would that they have a limited number of group classes. I got the impression that the had a few interval training / HIIT classes throughout the day which they changed up (in the way CrossFit changes it up) but if you are looking for a menu of classes, this may not be the place for you. But it is still worth checking out. I am glad I did and if I join a gym again, it will be this one. read more

Clean, well equipped. Nice people. BUT 6 times in two months they haven't opened on time and there seems to be no remedy. If you commute into the city or on a tight schedule, this is the first thing that matters. I'm willing to give it a couple more months but if it isn't fixed, there are other choices. Update: the last 6 weeks they hired a great front desk/opener in Wendy. She cares a lot. Not only arrives early but is really friendly and keeps the gym clean. They're lucky to have her. I just started my membership with this gym and I don't foresee it being a decision I regret. Three staff members greeted me upon walking in the door, and one of them happened to be the owner. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in what he does, as he quite literally stopped what he was doing to show me around. The gym is clean, well staffed (the staff is also extremely nice and welcoming), and it's in a great location. The only downside I would have to say is the volume of people that go. But that's not really an issue for me, and at the end of the day it's a great gym so it makes perfect sense why people wanna go there. read more

If you have a routine and like to work out in the early morning before work .... be cautious of this gym . This is about the 4th time it hasn't opened at the times listed. I can understand it happening once but 4 times that i can remember. Great gym with owners that take pride in their business. They keep things extremely clean and have all new and well maintained equipment. They move equipment to clean under around and even regularly clean all the windows. Plenty of ample parking and members are respectful of one another. It will be tough for this business to weather the pandemic economic downturn so I recommend anyone that has thought of joining to join as soon as they are back and invite two friends! read more

This is without question one of the best equipped, cleanest and friendliest gyms I've ever been to in the last 10 years I've been working out. The fact this is a commercial gym with 4 or so power racks and deadlift platforms, dumbbells going from 5lbs to over 100, 3 benches, 4 or so cable stations, a jungle gym style section for body weight exercises, all the major accessory machines you can think of well organized in one area, treadmills, stair masters, 2 types of stationary bikes, air bikes, spin bikes, ellipticals, rowers, 2 other rooms for boxing, stretching or more training AND still enough room to workout or warm up peacefully without ever feeling overcrowded is an impressive feat by management and the staff. The place is so well organized it never feels like you're working out on top of anyone or waiting 45 minutes for a piece of equipment. And that's another thing, this gym is truly open to everyone I see local high school & college athletes, beginners, body builders & powerlifters & older people working out here without issue or conflict. As a woman, it's so cool to see so many other women lifting as well and again, everyone is very friendly so there's no intimidation or weirdness. I truly love this gym and it's made getting into the best shape of my life that much easier & enjoyable and for the price it's easily the best gym in my local area. read more

This gym is extremely crowded, over-run by teens and often elementary school kids that have no Regard for Covid 19 or their elders, it's sad because it's a nice space with good equipment, there is no enforcing covid protocol, it's actually more crowded now than it was pre Covid. Not to mention when I complained about someone not wearing their mask next to me on stair climber, I was actually told to shut the fuck up by one of their employees, he did apologize to me after the fact, when he realized what he had done. But still, who says that to a customer? Very unprofessional establishment on every level. Stay away. read more

I enjoy coming to this gym. The place is spacious and decor makes you feel good working out. Staff are very pleasant and always willing to help if you need assistance. Wipes are set up all around gym so you can wipe machine prior to workout. Like in any establishment it is up to you to wipe your machine and maintain distance for your own safety. read more

Absolutely awesome gym! Facility is as clean as humanly possible. Everything is brand spanking new (seriously!). Kindest owners ever (like people you'd be friends with!). A childcare option while you workout (daily/drop-in option or unlimited option). Oh and AFFORDABLE. You couldn't ask for anything more, really. Loads of free weights and extensive cardio area. There is also a more private area for stretching/yoga (lots of gyms don't consider this) so you aren't bending over right in someone's line of sight on the treadmills or something . They offer private and group training classes but finally a gym in the area that doesn't cost an arm or a leg just for a membership! Their pricing structure is slightly not quite as advertised (some annual and sign up fees) but nothing gut wrenching or scammy about it. My plan came out to a few more dollars a month than expected. Nothing that made it worth shying away from. Oh and plenty of parking! My husband and I will be longtime members! read more
