I brought the machine home after purchasing it and used it in conjunction with my FitBit Alta HR. The calories burned on my FitBit did not move (in other words, no calories were burned). For my active minutes (the lightening bolt on the FitBit), they did not increase at all so there were no active minutes of exercise. As well, my number of steps did not increase. Basically the machine did nothing more than wiggle all of my skin and joints. There is no way that your heart rate increases when you are just standing on a machine. I did the Program 1 for 15 minutes. No positive impact on my body at all. Last year one of my daughters was tempted to purchase this machine but she said that she realized before it was too late what it took me bringing the machine home to figure out. That you actually have to WORK your body in order to have an impact on fitness. There is no easy way. I was also told that this machine would distribute the excess water retention in my body but my ankles and legs were as huge as ever at the end of the day, even after using this machine. I can't see how this machine would help osteoarthritis which I also have. Osteoarthritis is a loss of lubricating fluid at the joints. Therefore, bone is rubbing against bone. I can only see the vibrating and jiggling of this machine aggravating those joints and doing more damage to them over the long haul. I would not recommend purchasing this machine unless you enjoy standing on a vibrator or if you wish to improve your balance. I'll give it that. It takes good balance to stay on this machine, especially if you spread your feet apart on the machine.

Instead, they wanted us to look at ones in their computer system and buy one without trying it. Really?
