This is a post about the Jr department sales clerk, GAIL, who took it upon herself to negate my price adjustment/return today with her poor attitude and condescending words. A few weeks ago, I purchased several jr clothing items off the clearance rack for $1.99 and noticed the price marked IN RED on the ticket did not reflect on my receipt. 5 pairs of Wallflower overalls all rang up $1.99 except one pair and so, I stopped by the EASTON store to address it with the clerk, GAIL. I explained what happened and the first words out of her mouth were "these are Wallflowers and they never get reduced" followed by "there's no way to give you a price adjustment without seeing ALL the other wallflower overalls", followed by "why do you want to see a manager, she's going to tell you the same thing", followed by "there's nothing we can do" followed by "we don't ink the price in RED" blah, blah, blah. In the meantime, the department manager watched her and let her treat a GOOD customer in this manner and wouldn't share HER name because she didn't say anything wrong!! Who allows this clerk to treat customers this way? The asst mgr arrived and made the price adjustment but not w/o squaring it with the dept mgr first. Unacceptable, GAIL. You need a refreshment course in customer service and interactional training to better address a complaint with a customer.

The line to the register was worse than Christmas. I asked the manager, Sam, why. He said it was a safety issue and then HE questioned ME about what I could possibly see from a line. I asked to speak to someone else who might care and he pointed me to a phone number that was the store phone. The real manager is out on leave says the theft prevention guy. I am not sure who teaches a "sales manager" to dismiss a paying customer. Complete disrespect. The store is trashed and run by a bafoon starting at 4 pm weekdays. ​​

This store, located in the Tilghman Square Shopping Center is one of the good ones. It's easy to find being located between a Goodwill and A&A Auto, but also has plenty of parking. Stock and variety in the store was excellent with almost no empty shelves. A minor complaint is they only had one checkout open, but eventually another employee arrived and opened another. Walked out with everything I needed, so this Dollar Tree is a win.

I asked where I could put my shopping basket (many stores would take it and put it away). I was somewhat surprised when I was told that it went in a stack by the door on my way out. I guess I am kind of picky. We never know what anyone is going through on a given day.
