Many sales seen , the store was closed when I got there at 1030 am . Reopening was at 1051 am . Lady given the sale talk and then I got the sale items and she tried to sale they are not on sale and even though it clearly sale said buy 2 get 2 free . Then she said ok I will give you the sale . I've been going to Sally's for years to get hair products. Today was the best experience I've ever had. I decided to try the Lakeline location for the first time and was amazed. Yvonne was beyond helpful. Most times, sales associates weren't knowledgeable about the products. Yvonne knew exactly which products would work best for me and how I should proceed with using them. On top of that, she gave me hair care tips I could add into my current hair routine -- keeping my hair healthy. I was so impressed that I mentioned she should be a top trainer for other sales associates. I've been to many Sally's. Receiving this level of service is a rarity.. The next time I need more hair products, I'm coming back to Yvonne at the Lakeline Sally's. read more

The past three Sally beauties I gone to have been awful. From option, customer service, product knowledge, card program. Just all of it has been disappointing. I'm not sure how come they are still in business. I was ignored when walking in. Person managing the nail polish area was silent until I was ready to check out. I used to go to a different Sally's but on Monday I decided to try this one since it's closer to where I live. It was the WORST. One girl was standing at the register on her phone and completly ignored me until I was ready to check out. Meanwhile the other girl was helping other costumers while I picked out my hair dye. I didn't need any help since I was just getting my usual but it just seemed rude to me that the other lady was completly ignoring all of us until we were ready to be checked out. My opinion? You're better off going to a different location, even if it is a further drive for you. read more

Due to constant staffing issues this particular location closes on surprising occasions often. I shop at Sally's due to the convenience of having a beauty store close by. They aren't the cheapest option when it comes to products and at least for this location not the most reliable either when it comes to hours. I suggest trying Armstrong or a different Sally's location before depending on this Lakeline location. read more

I understand if you are trying to "educate" a customer on a brand and that is your "professional opinion" but look, if something works for my hair, ( & I have been doing it for years) it is not your job to sit there and argue with me. That was my experience when I went to this store today. I was allowed one item free with the hair dye I bought. She was arguing back and forth with me & told her lady to grab a solution 10 - I asked for 20 bc that is what I use. She insisted on that being wrong & how I need to get 10. I AM THE CUSTOMER THAT IS P A Y I N G.. & it's MY H A I R. If something goes wrong that is on me. Needless to say, I walked out with solution 10. I've one to many experiences like this . Came in the buy purple shampoo, newby cashier didn't know how to capture Sally member info. Totally screwed up my receipt. Left w no points, 2 other people in line waiting for her to figure it out. Located to the right of the Target. Doesn't just pop out at you, so it was hard to locate. The girls working there were helpful and super sweet with Kiddo. What got my goat was that they failed to mention that their frequent buyer card had a $5 fee, which quickly prompted a return once I reviewed the receipt. Ever had one of those incredibly busy 'I've got to get my roots done but I'm too busy to make an appointment' kind of months? The kind where you can't possibly see yourself sitting down in a chair (however, heavenly that might be) and being pampered by your hair stylist? How about having one of those when you are to busy because you are looking for work? Now imagine, there you are with two-toned hair and you are called in for an interview! Ack! No time to make an appointment with a hair stylist! At least not with my hair stylist, who is a popular and busy lady. What to do, what to do? I know (cue: light bulb) I'll run down to Target and buy some hair dye! Now get home and use said dye and discover that the box may have said "brown" but your hair has definitely turned a harsh black! Are you screwed? No way! Just head to this Sally's! Every Sally's is practically the same inside. Same products, same layout, blah, blah. It's the people who make a difference and there are very nice people working here. I walked in with my harsh black hair, and they were able to sell me stuff to get the harsh color out. Oh, joy, stuff on sale...remember earlier job search mention, so money counts. But, even better, they were able to help me pick the right color. Apparently, unbeknown to me, those little swatches lie. Luckily, after taking a look at my hair, the wonderful girl at Sally's (who also dies her hair herself) helped me to get the right color. And, voila, problem solved! read more

I always get my hair care from Sally's and any other beauty items I need. I normally come here with my daughter and she's a pretty grabby character. But every time, the employees are so sweet and patient with me trying to get the items I need and trying to keep my daughter from walking out the door with sugar lip scrub. I use to go to sally's every time I needed anything for my barbershop until I bought a Super Saver from them and it didn't work like I thought it would so I took it back . I've only had for 2 days and they refuse to let me return it . They said I couldn't return anything like that product and I asked when did that change a couple of days ago , I think if that's the case they should post that so everyone knows it . Its not on the receipts , the receipt say you can returns within 60 days . There is an employee there, I should really know her name by now, with blue hair (same color as me) and she has helped me with so many things having to do with my hair and made the process so much easier. Everything from hair dye itself, to a styling brush, to a leave in hair mask to maintain the color. Everything she has recommended has been great. I went to the Anderson lane location today and purchased some permanent dye and she didn't mention a toner although that's just common sense and I forgot. I know I wouldn't have left this location without being asked if I needed one and it would have saved me the trip of going back. read more

Update Judy spoke to the store manager She was very nice and understanding I wish I would have met her last night Will change my rating now since she was so wonderful over the phone Earlier entry Iwish I could give less than one fir young cashier ( I think her name was Kira ) The young girl would not do the even exchange of 2 hair colors . Kept saying "call customer service " if you are not happy with our policy. The other girl tried to help and solve the problem and that triggerd her . She said " I am the manager here and this is my store " Was shocked and told her " you need to treat your customers better than this and I need to speak to your manager " She reminded me again that she is the manger of the evening and at this point she said " you know what ? I refuse do any transactions with you and you have to go somewhere else . She smashed the hair color boxes on the counter and looked at the door " In my disbelief told her " you need to stop treating customer like this and I will call the police to this location and file "harassment charges " on you. She rolled her eyes and said "whatever " I was so upset that called 911 and filed a report on this young lady that acted like the owner of the universe . Police advised me on filing a report with BBB And to contact Sally's corporate office filing a complaint . I will contact the real store manager of this store to inform on what this teenage girl is doing to customers. Never called police on any store cashier but I have never been officially kicked out of a store either . When she was saying proudly that "this is my store " was informed that a true business owner would not have treated a " Customer " like this and that this is not her store but her working place where she needs to treat people with respect and not refuse taking care of them. How could a sales person refuse sale to customers ? Is it possible? She was so rude so rude and so disrespectful that I waited over 20 minutes for police to come and will take more time to do what ever it takes so the next customer would not experience the same disrespect and situation. read more

The girls who work here are very helpful in helping me find what I need. The store is well organized. No clutter in the isles as I have seen in some of the other Sally stores. I was offered the card which I declined this time. Usually I end up getting one eventually for the year and sometimes there are specials to get it at a reduced price. I come in, find what I'm looking for, get out without a problem. There is little to no wait time in the lines. If I have a question about a product, the staff are pretty good at answering it. Overall, I always have a very positive experience here whenever I visit. read more

This is a very convenient location for me, as it is right down the street from where I work in the lakeline area. But I am very unsatisfied with my recent visit. I understand limiting the amount of customers due to COVID, which is perfectly fine, it is a small store. I would like to be safe. But not be the only one told to wait outside. I arrived at this location on Saturday afternoon on my lunch break from work, and when I went to enter the store, an associate told me that there was a line outside waiting to get in. Again, this is acceptable. However, as I go to stand on the other side of the "line" (neither of the two people in the outside proximity of the store were actually in line to get into the store, they later walked away) but as I was behind them, assuming I was in line, two other people who had just driven up walked straight from the parking lot and into the store without being turned around or told to get into a line. Both entered without anyone else leaving the building and they were allowed to enter, again without anyone exiting, and they weren't told to wait in the same "line" that I was told to wait in. I don't appreciate being singled out and held up longer than people who arrived after me. This was very unfair treatment and terrible customer service. If you are going to enforce social distancing and limited capacity, it needs to be universal and applied to everyone, not just whomever the sales associates decide need to wait longer outside while letting others in. While I will continue to shop at Sally, as the products I need are always easy to find, I definitely won't be returning to this location. I'd like to shop at a location that makes me feel welcomed, and not lesser than other customers. read more

This is by far the best Sally Beauty Supply I have been to in Texas. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and organized and stocked with whatever I might be looking for. It's nice to be able to purchase things from this store that I might otherwise only find at Ulta at a higher price. read more

Just stopped in for B2G1 conditioner and they had to give me a rain check for the third. As I was starting my car to drive out of the parking lot, the girl that helped me came running across the parking lot with a third bottle they had found. What fantastic customer service! I was really excited when I found out that there was a Sally's right up the street from where I live. I popped over there real quick to get some hair color, ready to scope it out. The parking lot was nice and had a ton of spots. Walking in I noticed that the place looked brand new. Like most of the other stores it was small but seemed to have a little bit of everything. It did seem to have more hot tools than most locations. The main gripe I have is that while one of the workers seemed super nice, the other one...did not. To the point where it was uncomfortable. As someone who usually works overtime around people, I get that we all have our days. Maybe because I've gone to work sick, after deaths of close ones, mere hours after a bad breakup, and the frequent have only had 1 1/2 hours of sleep and managed to suck it up, I expect too much. I guess in the 90 seconds I interacted with this person something as simple as a smile, or asking how my day was, or even simple eye contact was too much. I felt like I was an inconvenience there, so I think I'll stick with the Braker or Anderson location. They have the same stuff and are friendlier. Sorry guys, if I'm going to spend my money that I earned from providing good customer service, it's going to a place that gives me the same in return read more

Love this store and more importantly, the emplyees! I walked in on a cold winter day, chatting on my cell phone (I know, rude and annoying but it was my mom) and the girl up front still greeted me warmly and assisted with what I needed. I will definitely go back again soon! read more

Customer service sucks!! Went there to exchange a few items that I purchased from another location, but what I noticed was that the employee assisting me was really irritated.
