Are you kidding me. I can get a steak, baked potato and salad at TX roadhouse much cheaper than a burger at 5 guys. What a rip off.

The staff are always friendly, the ordering process is quick and the wait time is minimal. The hamburgers and even hot dogs are ginormous and great quality. You will always get exactly what you order. Their Cajun fries are amazing and they give you plenty of them. read more

I went into the Alcoa, TN store today and was treated very disrespectfully by the employees, one calling herself the "Manager" of the East TN area, but there is no proof online. Order that DID have fries, like myself, yes, they had fries in their orders too and 5 and 6 numbers after me were being called. I simply asked why I was being put after my order and others that came in before me. They did have fries in their orders (they didn't have fries is what she said) why lie to me? Just tell me the truth. Then she said I was curt (she used a different, same meaning of the word to them if what she sa, even though I sat there and watched them put the fries in the bag, the ones that were after me (and others). She said the other people wanted to know too, so it wasn't just me. I'm sure she did the best job her poor education and brain could give her, or she had no education is why she was here. Regardless, they lost a lot of customers today (other people even commented on the situation,). Poor education and bad upbringings must bring you to 5 Guys and treat your customers so badly. I hope the order in front of me that was inquisitive like myself contacts you as well. You have hired a poor "manager" for your location. One of my favorite fast food places to get a burger and fries. The burgers are made however you want and there are a ton of toppings to choose from. The fries are hand cut and you get extra poured into the bag so there are plenty to share. I recommend trying the Cajun seasoning, but you can always get it on the side so you control the amount you put on the fries. Always clean, fast, and friendly. read more

I was so excited to eat here for lunch... until it took like 20 minutes to get the food out (we were the only customers in the store) That was just the start. Our food gets here, and I don't have cheese on my bacon and cheese dog, and my friend doesn't have bacon on his bacon and cheese burger. We asked to make sure this was right, and they are currently trying to figure out how to put both bacon AND cheese on a burger/hot dog. Also, my friend and I ordered shakes 50 minutes ago, and they still haven't gotten here. The workers are trying their hardest, but it just feels like the manager never actually showed them how to do their job. The workers were kind and clearly doing their best. It just feels poorly managed and organised here. You'd be better off just going to Buffalo Wild Wings next door. It'd probably cheaper too. read more

This five guys is doing it right! From the perfectly cooked burger to the great assembly of my particular and involves toppings request. The fries? Seasoned to perfection. I'm from the DC area, where Five Guys is everywhere. I think this location is one of the better ones. It's very clean inside and the service is quick. I also never see it packed to the max. The burgers are a little pricey, but worth the extra money. You get to choose from a pretty decent list of free toppings (mushrooms, jalapenos, grilled onions, raw onions, lettuce tomato, A1 steak sauce, etc). It definitely beats going to McDonald's or Burger King. The patty is always juicy and tastes pretty good. The fries are crispy and always served super hot. They are cooked in peanut oil. They also have a great selection of soft drinks. I've never had their hot dogs, but I've heard they are pretty good. read more

Big improvement over my last visit. After extensive conversation with the owner of the franchise I was told this location was going to get the retraining treatment and have they ever! The place is clean, the staff friendly and the food came out quickly. There's now more employees behind the counter to provide the service that's expected for their price point. The only thing I deducted a star for was that they forgot the bacon on our hamburgers, unfortunately we were too occupied to notice until we were basically done eating. read more

Went on Sunday about 5 or 6 people waiting on orders or already eating. 2nd in line to order took about 5 minutes. After ordering I was told my order would take 30 or 40 minuted and was asked if that was alright. I said no that was not alright and turned around and left. I know things are not working normal but that was ridicules. Will not be going back while pandemic still going strong but not sure I will go back when it's not around, besides prices to high $20 for burger fries and drink. read more

Usually this place is pretty good, although overpriced. A visit on a Saturday turned bad when we ordered food for four of us. When we went to pay, it took them 10 minutes to figure out their computer wasn't working. There were 15 people already eating inside and out. The manager looked puzzled and didn't know what to do. I said well, either we eat for free or we leave, I didn't have $55.00 in cash on me. The manager said brilliantly, "that's $50.00 we can't do that. We already had our drinks so we put them down and left. A smart manager would have offered the lunch for free to build goodwill, but not this one. At least let us keep the drinks we already prepared, but no, nothing. So sad. I didn't want a free meal but with that situation, do the right thing! read more

The five stars are for the french fries. That's the main reason I go. They are real hand cut fries prepared to order. And, they give you lots. Orders for most people are to share, but I can eat a large order all by myself. And, the burgers are good too. What makes them good is good meat. Even, plain they are good. I get them with only a few toppings because I like to taste the meat. I think that in itself says a lot for a burger. Its an order and then pick it up place, but when you want something good to eat and don't want to go somewhere like McDonalds and you also don't want to go to a "sit down and they bring it to you" place, Five Guys is right on target. I understand that both the President and the Speaker eat at Five Guys in Washington. So, if its one thing Democrats and Republicans can agree on together, it deserves our full support. read more

First time I've been to this facility and spent way too much on a burger that wasn't right. What I had ordered and what I received were two completely different burgers. Apparantly they gave me someone else's and super unhappy to know that I paid $14 for a burger I didn't order nor want. When I called to inform them of the mishap, I got a very nonchalant respond but did get offered for a free meal which I do not want and will not be coming back to this facility. Overrated and overpaid for a mediocre burger and service. No thanks! read more

I have always been a fan of Five Guys, but I will not be going back to this location. I have issues with restaurants getting my order right, so I go in even if I'm choosing to go. My boyfriend chose his burger all the way with hot sauce. I orders a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and ketchup. When we come home, my burger is covered in hot sauce without bacon. So we call and have them redo the order. We go back and get the new order and they once again forgot the bacon. Given the up charge for it, that's ridiculous. Plus instead of apologizing for the mistake, the employees were trying to figure out who to blame. read more

I have eaten here before and the food was good and the place fairly clean, but a year later it was not clean. The tables still had food on them and the floors were dirty, but the worst was the loud music. I would say a screeching, electric guitar that was exasperating. We couldn't hear ourselves think, much less be able to talk. We kindly asked the help if they would mind to turn it down a bit so we would be able to talk. With a smile, they said "yes". It did not go down at all. We presented them with our receipt and said we would need a refund because we couldn't tolerate the music. Once again, they said they would turn it down, but it remained the same. We approached the manager and told him our problem. He was cooperative and offered us a refund but did not offer to help with the music. I can't comment on the food since we didn't eat it this time, but a year ago, it was quite good. We stopped in this weekend and upon walking in, my foot slipped and I fell, due to the nasty greasy floor. I could have let this pass but for a comment made by one of the workers - "well she walked in here in those boots". My boots did not have a high heel and definitely were not the problem, as the knee of my pants were stained with the grease and dirt. read more

This isn't my type of food but it is my husband's favorite place to eat and exactly his type of food. So we go there pretty often. The manager is awesome! We love hearing him and the other employees hollar "Got it" in response to an order coming in. They are always more than polite. The food is always top notch for the type of food that they serve. The dining area, kitchen, bathrooms, and parking lot and patio are always clean and orderly. When two of our four kids graduated that is where they decided they wanted dinner after graduation. We have had some great times there. I have even learned that my husband loves the food so much and the music that he gets in such a good mood while he's scarfing down his meal and jamming to the music that I can talk him into just about anything when he is in that zone. We have also enjoyed feeling like kids and coloring on their little note cards while we have been there. I can't think of one thing I have not liked about our experience there! read more
