Pulled pork sandwich and Mac and cheese

My family was quite pleased with our stop here. Everybody enjoyed their meals on the whole (however would skip coleslaw and mac and cheese). We enjoyed being able to sit on the patio to enjoy the nice weather.

    Veggie Omlet

Great food, nice service, a small roadside diner with a "where the locals eat" feeling. True Americana and Southern Hospitality in a nice, cozy place.

Their chicken sandwich and potato salad with a sweet tea!

Amazing food and sweet staff. Loved the atmosphere and the views outdoors ambiance was perfection

Outside of restaurant with patio seating

Standard diner food with nice back patio seating and ambience. Very limited indoor seating. We unfortunately had to wait quite a while for our food but the server was nice and kept us updated. We liked the snoring bear smash burger. FYI soda beverages are can only, no fountain drinks.

Amazing food!! Soooo cute and small as well. Really broad menu. Some interesting stuff on there. Pictured is a smash patty burger with fried mozzarella and also a pulled pork sandwich.

We were traveling with the dogs and stopped in for dinner. They have a covered area outside where your pets are allowed. The server even brought out water & a bowl for the dogs. What a unique little roadside diner. If you blink, you may miss it. The food was awesome. We tried deviled eggs, a few sides, a burger and the bacon wrapped meatloaf. I would definitely recommend, worth stopping in. They do not serve any alcohol, soft drinks and tea only.

My husband and I stopped by during our vacation. The place looked like a mom and pops, which is what we love. We were very surprised - as they say, great things can come in small packages. This diner is PRECIOUS. I was so indecisive on what to order- our server was very helpful on helping me get exactly what I needed!!! Don't miss out and skip over this place!

The beautiful fresh produce complimented the expertly cooked and seasoned proteins. There wasn't a single thing we ate that we didn't enjoy. In between meals, we made sure to stay active to earn our appetite. The property offers access to great trails in the Smokies which we took advantage of as well as a lovely outdoor pool with a view. The room itself was pleasant as well. It was hard to leave the luxurious king bed every morning. The heated floors in the bathroom and the comfy sitting area made our Holly Springs cottage suite the perfect home base. We were also assigned our own golf cart to get around the property (although we chose to walk mostly to take in the views). Service was top notch and the staff were wonderful. Every evening they surprised us with a little treat for our anniversary which was very thoughtful. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

We decided to take the plunge and we are so happy we did. It's a 3 night minimum and frankly a great idea to take it all in. We enjoyed the following activities ; Fly Fishing, wine tasting , the spa , a farm tour , & tomato tasting. All were spectacular and unique to themselves. The culinary experience is nothing short of a Michelin experience for dinner. The price is all inclusive , sans your alcohol. The service is world class and the staff makes you feel so welcome. Whether it's a special occasion or a bucket list item , I would say it's a must in your lifetime !! Side note- We thought this would be a one and done. However, the level of experience and ability to unplug was extremely therapeutic. Hope you enjoy the review by LIKING it and sharing feedback :).

Everything came to our table pipping hot. We had the fried green tomatoes, the club, and the notorious pig! Everything was fresh and didn't leave us feeling overly full and gross. The food and ambiance will bring us back but Olivia's service will keep us coming back. She understood the assignment. We told her we were hungry and she made things happen. She continuously checked on us but didn't hover. She was friendly and efficient. Service with a smile is always appreciated, thank you!

Not to mention we are regular guests which severing staff know us. Finally got seated. We had to ask for kids menu which we know were available (We're regulars). The host is not paying attention. I was well aware prices have gone up at least a dollar from the entire menu, and we do enjoy the food, but to set the expectation of "average" menus item being $14, and burgers $14.75-$16.75, you've got to do better. Thankfully the server made the entire experience great. She has served us multiple times and understands our special needs for our son. *We'll definitely be back, but I this industry will not survive "expecting" 20% and doing that to guests. (That servers we had will always get a generous tip from us) ***It's gong to come down to asking to be sat in specific server's section.

The house sausage made to perfection, the benne seed bacon was like something I've NEVER had before, and the pickled shrimp with the comeback sauce was INSANE. Coming from someone that doesn't like cold shrimp, it was out of the water. Literally. The waygu burger was delicious and cooked perfect, although sweet due to the jam, something to keep in mind! Fries were yummy and cooked to perfection as well. Lastly, the filet mignon. Words can't describe how much I enjoyed this meal. It's been a long time since I've walked out absolutely pleased. The port-reduction was sweet and a perfect dipper, the steak was so tender and the béarnaise sauce on top takes it to the next level! Pickled veggies, braised onion, and yummy tender Yukon potatoes. You really can't get any better than this plate right here in my opinion! Aside from the food, our sever was so kind, helpful, and very welcoming. We wish we would have got his name, he sure did elevate the experience overall and I hope to see him again! Our food came quick and we were even offered a tour of our charcuterie board!! we WILL be back!!!!

You're tucked away in the forest with the most peaceful ambiance in the evening! The waiter introduced the menu to us and mentioned that the ingredients were all mostly locally sourced and or grown in their garden when you first turn onto the driveway. So great to know exactly where your food is coming from! For the starter, I shared the crab corn chowder - and the waiter was kind enough to split the soup into two bowls with my partner. This was a perfect starter! Creamy, a little smokey, and not too heavy like your typical chowder. Lacking in the crab department, but it's as you would suspect with anything advertising 'containing crab' at a restaurant. We were also given complimentary corn bread and it was delicious. Such a nice surprise and I definitely preferred having the cornbread over regular bread! The service was a little slow, especially to bring the appetizer and bread out, but I wasn't too bothered since it didn't seem like we were rushed to finish our meal. I ordered the filet mignon (med rare) as my main. The flavors were spot on! My filet was a bit tougher than other filets I've had in the past... it was difficult to cut into. I also wished there was more of the red wine sauce to balance the richness of all the accompanying flavors and textures. All in all, this spot was a special treat tucked away in Townsend and I'm glad I didn't have to drive too far for a well-crafted menu and food scene!
