We stopped at concourse C at Atlanta Hartsfields, The sign said they closed at 11:00pm. The staff wouldn't take another order after 10:42pm. They weren't at all apologetic. Stopped in here on my way in to ATL and stopped again on my way back. Before this trip, I was unaware they had vegetarian options but they do. When I arrived to the Atlanta airport from CA, most of the food establishments were closed. But Five Guys was open and willing to feed this weary, vegetarian traveler. I had the grilled vegetable sandwich and was surprised how great it was. Admittedly, I was starving and just about anything would have been good. But this really was delightful. Bell peppers, onions, mushrooms with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. You choose your extra (free) toppings or just enjoy it plain. Right now I'm waiting for my plane to go home to California and got the egg and cheese sandwich with mayo, lettuce and tomato. They have so many topping options but it was just too early and I'd spent about an hour in the TSA line so I just wanted something to eat and a giant Diet Coke with extra ice (I love self serve soda!!). Anyway, while not fancy this sandwich was quite good. What really struck me was the friendliness and helpful people working here. This is a location in the Atlanta Airport and in the D terminal. Usually in most seller and consumer transactions there are three key items. They are quick, cheap and good and you're told "pick the two you want". At this Five Guys location, you only get to pick one and on this occasion it was "good". The burger was cooked fresh and at this location, they must cook them one at a time, literally. There were about 9 people ahead of me waiting for orders and it was 25 minutes which is an excessive time to wait for a burger and fries from a "fast food" location. Normally I dont expect good food or good service when getting food from an airport version of a chain outside of an airport. That has changed with this Five Guys. Other than only being a tiny bit more expensive than a normal Five Guys this Five Guys was as good as the others I have been to. Food- My burger was perfect. It came out hot with all the toppings I requested. The fries were fantastic as always and they still do the extra scoop directly into the bag like the other locations do. Service- Service was amazing. Order was placed quickly and double checked to make sure it was correct. You can see them make your burger fresh from start to finish so it does take longer than another fast food place in the area but its 100% worth it. If you have never been to a Five Guys, it is a cheeseburger shop. They sell hot dogs too, but are known for their burgers. a Regular burger is actually a double, so I always order a Jr burger, because that is a single patty. In my opinion, the fries are actually the best thing on the menu. They are delicious, and are making my mouth water right now as I think about them. The burgers are very good, but a little greasy, so once you get into a double, there is usually a decent puddle in the foil that the burger comes in. I did not have a good experience here. I was one of the last customers at this Five Guys yesterday before they closed for the day. Several people were waiting for their orders for about 10-15 minutes including myself, some of which were also trying to catch connecting flights. I believe there were 5-6 people working and they were moving so slowly, didn't seem like they really cared about the quality of the food they were creating, and not doing it in a timely manner. The workers were pretty rude to all customers and kicked me and another man out for trying to eat at a table, saying they were closed. The workers would rudely tell customers who kept coming in that they were closed or not even acknowledge them until later after they had been waiting for awhile to order. The food quality was not great either. I understand they are closing and this is in an airport, but there was literally no effort put into my order at all. I ordered 18 dollars worth of food, the burger patties and cheese were cold, and the bun was stale. The fries somehow barely had seasoning on them? Because it took so long to get my order and because of the lack of quality of the food I basically threw most of it away and wasted money. Also get a "WE ARE CLOSED" sign for gods sake. read more

Five guys Atlanta airport This place gets 5 solid stars for service. My goodness I have never seen such a friendly crew at a five guys anywhere especially at an airport. I recently traveled to Atlanta and was starving so decided on Five Guys because o didn't have time to be disappointed with a meal and Five Guys delivers. This location serves breakfast and burgers which is good if your not in the mood for a bacon cheeseburger at 10 am like me. Anyway, I was greeted by a friendly cashier who took my order with a smile. Next I just watched as the entire staff interacted with guests, advising them that their food would be coming up shortly. I also loved watching the chefs interact with the cashiers. It just seemed like the staff were generally happy and it showed through their service. Every guest that I witnessed was greeted upon entry and told to have a great day once their order was received. I was hangry and seeing how positive this staff was changed my crappy mood. Real talk. Any way I had to review because this staff deserves an award. Kudos to you all! read more
