Eating at a steakhouse in an airport can be hit or miss. This can be applied to the LongHorn of ATL. LongHorn steakhouse of ATL is located at the southern end of the C concourse, which is where Southwest houses all of its gates. There was a line when we walked up, and they were visibly understaffed. Once we got seated, we waited about 5-7 minutes before someone came up to us and asked us for our drink order. We also ordered a Texas tonion, which is basically a bloomin' onion already peeled. It was pretty good! No difference from a regular LongHorn. We both ordered the Dallas Filet. My ranch dressing was only on one side of my salad, which was unfortunate but did not affect the quality of the ingredients in the salad. The filets were overly seasoned. I took one bite of my steak and had to get a sip of water because of how over-powering it was. When you order your steak, you should ask for them to go "light on the seasoning." That was way too strong. My mac and cheese was good, but very hot! Nothing special. Our server was visibly stressed and busy because of the amount of tables he had to cover. There were only two servers in the restaurant, as every table was full. If you are looking for a job as a server, head over to the LongHorn of ATL lol. They need you! read more

I've given this location about four or five chances and this was my last for them. The ribeye and the filet are both consistently terrible cuts of meat, typically way over seasoned. My ribeye tonight was very gristly - I asked for a sharper knife and they could not give me an actual steak knife because we're behind security - I get it. But with that being said, there were several pieces that I could cut because of the gristle. I have always sat at the bar and the service has never been better than mediocre. ATTITUDE. Cortes? Idk the spelling but he asked for my ID (normal) and I waited over 5 minutes while he was in the back in his phone and had the audacity to call me honey and ask what I wanted. He misheard me 4x and the two guys next to me were "this is why I hate Atlanta". Asked me if I was "girl are you okay"? My family and I decided to stop here during our layover and all hadn't had the best experiences at this chai but options were limited so decided to give it a try after so many years. From the moment we arrived, the service we received from our server Barbara was exceptional! She brought light to my stressful day of traveling and I appreciate how personal and accommodating she was thought our time there. She genuinely seemed like she enjoyed working there as well! I ordered the garlic lemon chicken with mashed potatoes and it was incredible, from the presentation to the flavor. The chicken was super moist and I couldn't get enough of the homemade sauce. Definitely a 12/10 experience and we'll be sure to stop by there every time we're at the ATL airport and hopefully will be served by Barbara again. She's truly a gem! Had time to kill while waiting for a friend to arrive so I decided to grab a seat at the bar! I ordered a beer and some wings however the wings never came. After 45 mins I closed out and left hungry! There were multiple people working behind the bar so not sure what the delay or issues was but everyone was complaining. Service is lousy!! read more

I enjoyed dining at this airport location and appreciated that I was able to pay right at the table without bothering my server. She was so sweet and attentive as well. She answered all my questions and made sure to check one consistently. The hostess was friendly as well and greeted me right away. I was seated fairly quickly and my table was clean. So it's airport restaurant so standard is not very high but this place was an absolute mess. Avoid at all cost. The to- go order is not staffed. So waited 15 mins to place order before very rude server/seating line handler "Colby" announces to the tree of us waiting in thick East -Point -Atlanta English that we should use a QRS code at the bottom of menu- which flashes off after a few seconds and is not even on every screen of the Togo menu. He seems super annoyed to be asked to clarify with full out eye rolling and huffing. To add insult wait is honestly 45 mins and customers are having to spot the to go containers in the kitchen and coax someone to stop talking talking long enough to hand it to you. Hot mess- busy yes but rudeness and complete lack of any organization, manger presence or customer service is crazy. Hate to see what happens to international travels - Just stay far away. read more

Stopped by LongHorn Steakhouse at the Atlanta Airport and had a surprisingly great meal. The food was excellent, perfectly cooked steak, solid sides, and the service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, especially impressive for an airport location. That said, the experience took a sharp turn when we were asked to use a QR code to order. Huge disappointment. Hello, the pandemic called and wants its stupid QR codes back. At this kind of establishment, I expect a real, physical menu, period. Forcing guests to scroll through a phone to order food at a sit-down steakhouse feels lazy and out of place. Whoever thought this was a good idea missed the mark entirely. Great food and great service carried this visit, but the QR-only menu policy detracts from what should otherwise be a straightforward, enjoyable dining experience. Bring back real menus and this place would be a no-brainer. read more

I can't remember the last time I gave a two star review. This was by far one of the worst restaurants experiences that I've had in a long time, specially during a time where I am so exhausted from delayed flights. Upon arriving to the host stand, I wasn't even greeted and when I asked how long the wait would be I was told it was unknown, which is fine because I know times are crazy... However, everything went downhill when I had to ask the waitstaff to bring me bread while I had already been seated for about 15 minutes. I had to clean the table on my own with some disinfectant wipes because it was visibly dirty from the previous customer. I also had to ask my waiter if they had the mashed potatoes I ordered after overhearing they were out... She asked proceeded to ask "oh you ordered that ?" Yes, yes I did... I'm glad I was proactive and requested an alternative. Once the bread came out, it took a while for my food to do so as well and when it did one of my sides was missing and the waiter asked me "oh I didn't bring it out?" No, my full order wasn't complete ma'am... After that experience, a table next to me broke some glass so I communicated it to both of the servers in the area due to the glass almost cutting me when it fell and being so close to my feet while I ate. Nobody decided to make that an urgency even after 30 minutes of my communicating the safety concern so I decided to go up to the host stand and tell the manager. Suddenly that's when three people decided to come clean up the broken glass. At the same time, I was also waiting for my steak to be cooked a little more because I asked for medium and I got a rare steak :( I waited for ANOTHER 15 minutes and then decided to ask if it was ready. Again, somehow my order was forgotten because the waiter proceeded to ask me "what steak" when she brought me my receipt. When she noticed I was visibly frustrated she went and finally got my steak which was still RARE in some major areas, so I decided to not to forego eating it. The manager did offer to rectify the issue by covering my tab, but I think it's still the lack of urgency and chaos that REALLY made me disappointed in this place. I shall not return. Please remember QUALITY over QUANTITY. Having so many tables so close together doesn't seem efficient if positive customer service is not there. read more

Popped in during a 2h layover, and the server w a smile, Heather, was welcoming & knowledgeable. She could tell I needed a proper glass of red and guided me delicately to (though a little over priced), a delicious glass of fully body red. You can go for a classic American breakfast or the old-fashioned steak and eggs. Both are good! We had an issue when the steak arrived well well done. The order was medium rare. It was taken care of so quickly and proffesionally that we were more impressed with what they did than we would have been if it had been perfect on the first attempt. This is really more like 3.5 stars, but since that isn't an option I rounded down. The hostess seemed flustered, and I can imagine she was a little stressed since they were packed, but not the ideal way to start the meal. We were seated quickly and our waitress took our order and brought out bread and our appetizer fast. The Texas tonions were okay, a bit too greasy for my preference. We also shared a steak and both got salads. The salads came in ice cold bowls, which is always great and the steak was tender and juicy, just a few grizzly parts. There were some pesky nats or something that flew around us during the whole meal, so that wasn't ideal. You are able to pay at the table with a QR code, which is great if you are in a hurry. There was a little bit of a wait but I think it was mostly because a lot of the other airport restaurants were closed. It was packed so I just sat at the bar. The bartender was so friendly and fast even with a full bar and restaurant. They recommended either the burger or chicken sandwich and I ended up getting the steakhouse burger. It was really good and I loved the fries since they came seasoned. It's very lively here which is nice when you have a long layover. read more

Very nice, of course expensive, experience in the Atlanta airport. We had quite a long wait for our next flight, so stopped here for steak and wine. Crowded, but we were sat at a booth in the corner, which was nice. At first, the waiter was really good, and got us what we wanted. But one of the steaks was not prepared properly, and we asked for a replacement. After that, the waiter was "occasional" and didn't show up much. That mistake sort of put a pall on an overall nice experience, and wasn't handled as well as it should have been. Perfect medium - oh yea. It was a thin cut (1/3 inch), but at my regular place for steaks they are an inch 1/4+ thick, and I get to pick my steak out before it's cooked (contact me if you want the restaurant name, biggest I had was 27oz ribeye). Temperature was good, and the the quality of beef - spot on perfect. Eats like butter!!! Awesome!! Nice cap and very little gristle or side fat. (Very well trimmed.) Second time eating here while waiting for our flight where we have received absolutely piss-poor service. We put our names in and we're next to be seated, "it will be maybe 5 minutes". Instead of asking the person to get up as the table was already reserved they opted to tell us, "oh well, he just sat there". So we asked how much longer it would be and she had a major attitude with her response. "How would I know? Do you want me to ask the people how long they are going to be? ". Well, excuse my ignorance but isn't that their job as the hostess to be able to estimate the wait time for those who are waiting for a table? 9/10/24 @ approximately 3:15pm. We ended up sitting at the bar and the bartender took good care of us. If I were to rate based on the bartender it would be a solid 3 but the hostess up front was so bad that I would like to give ZERO stars but that is not an option. This place is nice for an airport steak house. Our experience started out well in that we got a private table where our luggage would fit. This location was inside the Atlanta Airport and we had about a two hour wait, so lunch was a great idea. Our server started out fine, bringing is the wine we requested. But when one of our steaks came out well done and we had to send it back because we ordered rare, the server just disappeared. When he reappeared he did bring a new steak, but then ignored us for the rest of our visit. The food was fine, but I would not return due to the service. There were 2 people in my party that we couldn't finish it. The shrimps are very crispy and hot. I had the grilled chicken and strawberry salad. We ordered immediately having already checked out the menu while we waited and had our food by 9pm. We ordered Flos Filet 9oz with mashed potato and salad, Renegade Sirloin with mashed potato and broccoli, Renegade Sirloin no sides and Signature Steakhouse Mac & Cheese. Steaks were cooked as ordered medium rare and all the food was good and as expected for a Longhorn Steakhouse. Despite the long wait, our waitress was outstanding (I think waitstaff varied so we were lucky). It's easier/quicker for 2 to get a table and I would definitely not bring a group larger than 4. Yes, it's in an airport- which means prices are a bit higher. What's different is the limited menu. Not a huge deal- the steak we had was amazing. And honestly, it needed to be because we can't have metal knives in the airport. The steak was so good that the plasticware cut it just fine. Service was great as well!
