Like being fake mean, saying "absolutely not" when you ask if you can get a certain item, but then give it to you. I had the Frito Pie bowl and it was full of beans, queso, rice, and adobo chicken. A nice flavorful little meal to grab and eat at your gate. It's definitely not fine dining or anything, but it's a good option as far as airline food goes. I really enjoyed the food at Willy's Mexicans Grill. I got a steak burrito. The flavor in the steak was really good and I enjoyed it. I would definitely get it again. It was irritating that the people in front of us asked for nachos and the employee told them they didn't sell those. They then pointed to the board and said it's right there. He then reluctantly got them some. Then my daughter asked for nachos and he said they're out. It felt more like he just didn't want to be inconvenienced to go and retrieve them. The other employee did not do a good job of listening to my other daughter order and put wrong stuff on it. For a fast food Mexican spot, I really enjoyed my bowl from this grill. Their CA breakfast burrito looked good, but wanted to get a lunch item for my flight back so got the adobe chicken bowl. I do like how they have a variety of toppings you wouldn't find at a Chipotle like raw onions, black olives, jalapenos, etc. It's also a plus that guacamole is free and the prices here are extremely fair. Well.. it is what it is. I really didn't even want to write a review for this place, but the reviews run deep regardless of the experience. This was a typical airport one - pretty awful customer service, subpar food, and more. FOOD : The food was decent for airport food. I always try and find the healthiest/cheapest option and Willy's had that in the bag. It was a chipotle without the name, basically. I got a veggie bowl with beans, lettuce, corn, cucumber, all the things, and it was actually pretty dang good. I honestly liked it more than chipotle, it felt decently fresh and wasn't overly salty. I know not to get meat at places like these because I truly just can't trust it and I always regret it when I do. I appreciated the fresh veggies and would've given the meal itself a 6/10. SERVICE : This was where the two stars came in. I try and be understanding about their situation, but it's hard not to take their attitude personal. Most people are already wanting to be somewhere other than the airport so I get that it's a bit tense - but in my head try and make someone's day better rather than worse. I felt small, stupid, and like an inconvenience which is silly for being a customer at a restaurant. As understanding as I want to be, it still makes you feel shitty walking away and all you did was order a burrito bowl.. I mean, is it really that big of a burden? Rating is for attitudes behind the counter. I just want the people behind the register and the counter to WANT to be there. They seem so annoyed that people are in line looking for lunch or dinner. If you don't want to be in a place where people always frequent, don't work in the busiest airport in the world. I overheard 2 of the workers plotting on working in another store because they were aggravated with being in the airport. I am not judging anyone but they were younger and a lot of these young kids do not have work ethic and it sad because they don't even know real work. As far as my chicken bowl, it was good definitely a 4, not happy that I paid $1.20 for guacamole and it was barely a spoonful but I digress.. it might be a little while before I come back.
