I normally visit other local burger spots but decided to stop by my local Five Guys. The interior was very clean. It was lunch time and there were only two other customers inside which I found odd. I was greeted by the front clerk. I ordered the little bacon burger , I let the employee know that I was not looking for a huge meal, I also asked for a drink and fries. I was a bit taken back by the total, it was way more than I expected. I asked him how this added up so quickly and he shared that I paid for large fries, I did not ask for large fries but I did not feel like continuing to argue with the employee. I got my burger and a bag full of fries. The burger was well made with my choice of toppings. They do make a good burger. I do appreciate that I can select my individual toppings. As far as the fries I had a hand full and took my leftover large bag of fries home. I would have appreciated if the clerk asked me for the size of the fries I wanted vs making the choice for me. There were two guys waiting idk how long in front of me to order food...there was one male employee in the kitchen part who obviously isn't blind and could have notified one of the other 3 employees in the back but he didn't. Well.... Worst experience at a Five Guys in over ten years. By the time the food came out, 30 minutes passed by, at the time of order the guy at the counter said 7-8 minutes. When we got the food, it was cold and the fries were soggy. The cheese was stuck to the tinfoil so there wasn't any reason to order cheese, it was inedible. Ordered two bunless burgers, they didn't tell us they didn't have any lettuce. They knew it when we ordered because we saw the managers leave. Then we saw them come back with paper grocery bags of lettuce. Asked the guy at the counter why we had no lettuce for our lettuce wraps. He said "I think we're out of lettuce" then he turned around. They need to figure out their online food ordering process. The entire reason we had a bad experience is due to the amount of online orders. The whole time we were waiting, not one person ate in the restaurant. Every order had a name attached to it instead of the number they give you at the counter. It was obvious that the online orders all came in at once and in store customers were out to the bottom. There should be a limit to the amount of orders that they allow. In the end, it was obvious that they did not handle our order as an allergy as requested. They are always very good at gluten free for celiac disease. This time, not the case. My experience with 5 guys were not always the same. It has its ups and downs in terms of consistency. Murray Give guys possibly is the best location we had food from. Juicy burgers with fantastic Cajun fries. Fries were perfect ( always had issue with it before as it used to get soggy in no time). So here we go, I keep trying to give this location the benefit of the doubt, but this is the third time in a row that I've had to wait 45 minutes for two burgers. Consistently see employees let out for breaks during the lunch rush, leaving only 2 ppl to man the register AND cook all the food. I just recently visited this Five guys off scholls, I ordered my food which was cold, and honestly soggy, couldn't even eat the food , On top of that they messed up my order which was very simple it was nothing to complicated. Both of the older gentleman have given me trouble for not taking the receipt, and just remembering my number, both rolled their eyes at me and have given me different treatment compared to other customers after that, I keep my peanut shells off the ground to help them and I still get treated this way. It's uncomfortable for me to talk about my allergy to heat transfer ink in receipt paper so I didn't mention that, despite that there's still a disrespect met with a customer request regardless of the allergy not being mentioned. read more

I got a little cheeseburger with the little Cajun fries - the cheeseburger & the large Cajun fries with a Oreo shake ! We ordered online and when we got there our order was almost ready ! Hovers between good and great. The burgers here are fantastic. Juicy. Tasty. And you get to pick the exact condiments and extras you want on it, so you really can't go wrong. Even with delivery, the steamy bun-wrapped hamburgers hold up (I hate when buns fall apart). I get the little cheeseburger. The larger sizes are huge! The fries are always delicious, perfectly soft and salted. And they are typically super generous with the serving size. The hot dogs are served split lengthwise on the bun, which I love because it allows for more surface grilling and it fits the bun perfectly, so the bread to dog ratio is as good as it gets. And again, with the dogs, you can top them with whatever you want. I've also had the BLT sandwich, which is served on a hamburger bun, and it is good as well. If you are hankering a burger/dog and fries, you can't go wrong at Five Guys. read more

Meh, I've been to five guys one other time in my life and I guess I know why now! I ordered a "little" bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, BBQ sauce, mayo, pickles and lettuce and a "little" Cajun fries. I was surprised by how much food I got with the "little menu" since I got a ton of fries and the burger itself was pretty hefty. The burger was smooshy and I don't know I just wasn't that impressed! Honestly I never eat McDonald's and I would have rather had a quarter pounder with cheese! If they were handling the pandemic better, I could give this four stars. As burger places go, they are efficient and good. They've got a good system that gets you your food fairly quickly. While you can eat in, that's always been less than enjoyable, so we never think of that as an option. What really torpedoed it for me was the employee taking his break, right next to the pickup line, with no mask and no one saying anything. I understand he probably didn't want to take his break outside, but there simply is no excuse in this situation for an employee saying "yeah, not gonna do this" and management doing nothing about it. It sent me the message that this place's management is asleep at the supervisory wheel. We will probably not return based on this. I went here for the first time last night. I was surprised that the "little" bacon cheeseburger was over $7. I was even more disappointed when I realized I paid a whole extra dollar for a cold slice of cheese that wasn't even melted. Burger seemed just ok. (Rather have gotten $7 worth of McDonald's burger) About 10 minutes later, my stomach cramps started. Looks like inflation has crept into all things five guys... 1. Burgers used to be bigger and taste better... it has been a couple of years since my wife and I have eaten what used to be a good quality tasting beef buirger... now it tastes like normal low cost grocery burger instead of the corn fed beef they once served. 2. Prices are higher and even the buns seem to be low quality. I had a double cheese burger that used to stick outside the bun all around.
