Burgers were delicious, Fry's were amazing as always. Had a shake for the first time and was impressed. Great service.

So friggin good. I half expected the quality to be sub par when the Columbus restaurant opened, but nope, haven't been disappointed yet. They're good everywhere. They are loud, cramped and the seating is uncomfortable (and not really baby friendly if that sort of thing is important to you) but that's Five Guys for you. I was so disappointed by my first visit to Five Guys in Columbus. I'm a big fan of the chain because their fries fulfill a craving of mine for super-greasy and delicious fries that are similar to the fries they sell on the boardwalk of Ocean City, Maryland. I don't eat meat, but their cheese sandwiches are fine (if not overpriced). I couldn't wait until things calmed down at the new location so I could sate my fry-craving. We finally went to the new store in Columbus at a time when I hoped it wouldn't be too crowded. It was still crowded at 3:30 p.m. There were tons of people working in the kitchen, and it looked chaotic. We waited for 15 minutes for our food (which seemed a little longer than it should take, even for freshly prepared food). After all of that waiting, I was let down when we arrived home and started eating. The fries were KILLED with salt. They were nearly inedible. I almost cried.... I was so disappointed. You have to understand that the only reason my husband and I ever go to Five Guys is because I love their fries. Also, I had ordered a cheese and veggie sandwich with onions, green peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. When I unwrapped my sandwich, I found that it didn't have lettuce, tomatoes, or pickles. Considering that the veggie sandwich costs over $3, it was pretty ridiculous that they didn't even get my order correct. read more

Haven't been to a five guys in a long time but was able to go because their burgers actually are whole 30 compliant (diet that I'm on) they don't have any added junk in there meat so surprisingly healthy! I got a plain burger wrapped in lettuce wth veggies and was amazing! Very friendly service as well! read more

Usually when I come to this Five Guys I have a pleasant experience. I don't know what it was about the day that I visited but the cooks and staff were off their game. Not only did they mess my order up, but everyone behind me (4 others) and two people in front of me. I witness more people going back to the counter with something wrong with their order than ever before at any establishment I've visited. I've been to this Five Guys only four times since it's opened and this is the first time I've had a visit where I was disappointed. Even after their attempt to fix my order, they still messed it up. Usually I don't ask to have my orders fixed so after the second attempt I figured it was a lost cause and just cleaned the burger up how I wanted it too be and ate. I will visit this place again but if I experience the same again, it will be my last. read more

The only real thing about this place that stands out is the amount of fries you can get. Other then that your paying 2x the price of a burger you can get at McDonald's that has less flavor. It's one of those places you'll visit once or twice a year maybe because you forgot how much it was, but your already there. read more

Food is great, but the seating is poorly designed. Too few tables, lot of wasted space, and all but 2-3 tables are 6-seaters. Not uncommon to see groups circling like vultures to find a table while 1-2 people fill several of the large tables. read more

I don't eat burgers much but when I do I ALWAYS go to Five Guys to make it worth eating the extra calories! Your burger is made fresh with the toppings of your choice and a regular size fry is enough to feed a family of four. :) read more

It was prescient, I had just watched a TV show about the best burger joints in the country and FGBF was featured as one of them. I was stoked to learn soon after that they had recently opened one here. I thought, yeah, finally a gourmet burger in Columbus, because the food here is so mediocre. So I was extremely disappointed when I received my order and found the burger to be rather basic and the fries were awful. The fries were greasy, limp and way oversalted. So either I was sold a bunch of hype about how good they are or maybe it's just that the people they employ in Columbus to cook and serve food are just a bunch of morons. Final judgment: Overpriced, improperly cooked food. You'd save money and get a better product from Wendy's. We need people like Gordon Ramsay and Robert Irvine to come to Columbus and cuss every one of the people out who run restaurants here. read more

Great food, fast service. I came for the first time with a friend who had been raving about the place for a while. It was pretty expensive so I went for a "little burger" and hoped for the best. This "little burger" was bigger than any one I've gotten from a burger bar! It was amazing and tasted delicious. Not a fan of the cramped seating but the food made it worth it. read more

I had a hamburger, french fries and drink. The burger tasted fine but nothing spectacular/ The price on the french fries is absurd! Almost $3 for an order of french fries, which tasted good but weren't worth what they were asking. Overall, it is way over priced. Clean environment but not worth what I paid. read more

This place should have $$$ on it for the amount of ridiculous money they charge. Regular burgers are $7-8, fries are $3-5, and drinks are about an additional $2-3. And guess what? They don't have combos, so if you get all three with tax you end up paying something like $18 for one person. Seriously? Whatever happened to the days when you could get a burger, fries, and drink for under $8? And it's not like the price is justified by the taste. The burgers do taste "fresher" than your average McDonalds, but not good enough to warrant the price. In-n-Out in California is at least twice as good as 5 guys, and you pay probably half the price. For $18 I could get a fat steak at a sit down restaurant. Now I know how they pay for all the free peanuts (which I'm surprised they don't charge you for). My recommendation: Only come here if you are DESPERATE for a burger (or just pop in, eat some free peanuts and leave ;) ) read more
