Came in for a burger since all the other fast food restaurants were packed. No one in line, so seemed very convenient. I placed my order and I received my food at a reasonable time. They were out of ketchup l, so I alerted the staff. The cashier/manager seemed like she was in a bad mood when she went to the back. When she returned with the ketchup dispenser, she slammed it on the counter and pushed it towards me. It nearly fell over the counter. No reason to be upset at the customer. I'm sorry but I don't see the appeal. Every time I have been to Five Guys Burgers and Fries, I try a different combination of toppings, but no matter what I do, the bun always disintegrates into a sloppy mess and the toppings all fuse into one gloppy, not hot, mess. The meat is pretty much flavorless and does not satiate the desire for a really good hamburger. But maybe some people enjoy the sensation of eating a wad of soggy garbage for lunch. Fries are so-so but wilty and heavy on the grease. The counter lady was very nice or this would get one star. Note to self: Stop trying this place, unless you just want a soda with some peanuts. read more

Mediocre Experience. When: July 7, 2016 Time: 5-6pm I've been to several Five-Guys all around the Houston area, and I decided to give the Conroe location a try. One of the positive things I can say about this experience, is, that there wasn't traffic (a lot of people), so I was able to get my order at a reasonable price. I ordered the Cheeseburger (the worker said it comes with two meats), Cajun Fries, and a Dr. Pepper...because everyone knows Dr. Pepper is love in Texas. When I received my burger & fries I immediately noticed things I disliked about my meal. The burger bun felt soggy and a little bland. The Cajun fries were over-cooked and I didn't really get the Cajun flavor that I know and love. What I liked about the burger was that the meat was cooked fairly well, and so were the other amenities. The employees greeted before I reached the register which I thought was nice. came in at 9:26 on january 14th 2022 to place a order togo, didn't get greeted. girl just said to us "y'all picking up or placing an order" i responded with placing an order & she immediately said "oh my god" followed by an eye roll. this guy takes our order, he's super nice but he called out "four patties & large cajun fry" & the SAME girl says "oh my god" with another eye roll super loud. we work in the industry & we understand how annoying it is for people to come in last minute but we still had 30 minutes? we left before there were even closed. super unprofessional read more

Eek! London prices for a burger. Around $15 for a burger, fries, and drink. It's a little pricy for fast food, but that's my only real negative complaint about this place. The fries were heavenly. Seriously, they are so irresistible I could eat them every day, clog my arteries, die of a heart attack, and it's off to heaven I go! Heavenly! By far the best part of the meal!! And they give you plenty of them. The burger itself was good, but nothing special. To compare their burgers with other fast food places I would rate Five Guys near the top. Fuddruckers is still on top of my list. And I think I prefer a Smashburger over a FG burger, but because the fries are the bomb at FG's I would definitely choose FG's over Smashburger. This was a stop on a roadtrip for me. To be honest I consider Five Guys as a decent burger joint, not as good as local burger places but superior to fast food. The thing I enjoy the most about Five Guys is it doesn't matter if you are in Dallas, Houston, Plano, or New York they have consistency, which I've found is not like other burger chains. This location was good and a nice burger during a long trip with the Cajun fries. I'm not going to claim they are the best but they are better than most of the junk you get on a roadtrip style food. Heard rave reviews from my pastor about this place, and he's got a good eye for burgers. So I gave em' a shot. This is a pretty standard fare burger place. Nice atmosphere, if they'd change up all their propaganda for their food to something more decorative. Literally just about ever 6 inches of wall space had a new article about them, or quote from some place, or some supposed award. Blahhhh. Pricing was pretty good imo. 6'ish for my double bacon cheeseburger with everything on it including grilled onions and mushrooms? Kick butt. And the fries were 3 bucks, which I thought was a lot, until they gave me like 4 people's worth of fries! They also have BBQ sauce, A1, etc as additions to your burger if you like. For free. Burger was very tasty, after I unburied it from all the dang fries! lol, they just dumped em in the bag practically :D But yeah, I was well pleased, would eat here again no problem. Was told they don't accept cash at all so I happily left and went to an atm to deposit money for my burger, upon returning I watched a gentleman pay with a one hundred dollar bill (a 2 burger order) with absolutely zero problems. I then went to ask why my cash was not accepted and was told that the order had to be over $50 however I had just watched a gentleman pay for 2 burgers with a one hundred dollar bill without ANY issues. Customer service was very rude as well. Wish I could remember the employees name. Happened on January 6th 2021 around 7pm. Will not be back SPECIFICALLY because of customer service. I have heard a lot of buzz about places like Five Guys and Smash burger, I had to give it a shot while I was working in the Conroe area. Five Guys was pretty packed for the lunch time hour but the line seemed to be moving pretty quickly. There isn't much to the menu, it is simple Burgers and Fries! The wait wasn't long at all and there was adequate seating, I finally got to bite into my burger and it was pretty good. The size of the burger left something to be desired also, all in all I may try it again in the near future but I think I will try Smash out 1st. read more

Five Guys has great burgers and fries! However, the good food cannot make up for the HORRIBLE experience we just had. First off, it took our cashier Briannca multiple tries to get my simple order right; she added on pickles and removed the lettuce, onions, tomatoes before finally paying attention to me and taking off the pickles and adding the rest of my order back on. Additionally, she also messed up on our sizing, and though she said she fixed everything, that is still not what was shown on our receipt. But all this we can forgive- if you're new working the register it can be hard. But what is completely unacceptable is being stolen from!!! My boyfriend handed the cashier $20 and his card and told her $20 and the rest on the card. She charged the complete amount to his card and kept the twenty. When we got to our table to look over the receipt, we realized what she had done. When we confronted her, she sheepishly handed it back saying she noticed the drawer hadn't opened when she charged us. Why didn't you say something?!?! A few minutes after heading back to our table, we got our food. Unsurprisingly, she did not change my order correctly on the ticket and my burger was made wrong. I brought it back to be fixed, and it was made wrong yet again! All in all, Five Guys has great food and you should try them out- just not at this location. read more

First visit to a Five Guys. Burgers were great and I will come back again for another one. Fries were okay. I liked that you were given peanuts while waiting to eat; it was a different concept for a burger chain. Location was good and right off the freeway which made it easy to get on and off I-45. The price was more expensive than most burger chains but the food was better than most too. The bathrooms needed cleaning but wasn't the dirtiest I had ever seen. I wish they had a burger that was in a kids meal. My kids didn't want grilled cheese or hot dog so I had to settle for buying them a little burger. My husband Tom has been in Texas working for about a month now and this was the first time he has seen a Five Guys while there. We are from California and he loves eating burgers from this franchise. This review is based off of his experience today. He came in and ordered a meal and everything was just awesome. He was sitting there enjoying his meal. There was an issue with the meal order printer and they had made an extra order of food so instead of getting rid of it, they offered it to Tom on the house. There isn't many places nowadays that would just offer patrons free food but Roy (the store manager) here did and made Tom's night. Thanks Five Guys for having awesome employees. If you're wanting the best burgers in Texas, well you'll have to get off the beaten path and spend a whole lot more (Time AND money - that is). BUT - if you want a really good burger and some really good fries AND you want it fast, then this is, in my opinion, the best offering out there! My wife and I stopped here while traveling to grab a quick bite. Ordered the burgers "BUN FREE" - yep, no bun - the encase the meaty goodness in lettuce - a more healthy and delicious was to enjoy them! We also ordered a large fries - what we got was WAY more fries that what we knew to do with them (so shared them with some young boys sitting next to us!).
