Classic Fries
Gigi P.

forgot to take a picture of my burger till after i devoured it! Delicious classic burger. I did have to ask twice for the pincho sauce on the side, so service wasn't the quickest. the pincho sauce was soooo good though, i'm glad i tried it. it was like a mayo ketchup. atmosphere brought nice, family fast food spot. lots of 4 person tables and a long bench table for family style eating. i will be eating here again!!

Chocolate Chunk Cookie

We started with some fried cheese which came in nice bite sized cubes with some ketchup that tasted like regular ketchup but one person wrote it's guava ketchup. Just couldn't taste the guava. But the cheese was a solid deal at just under $4. Next we got some Tostones. These are fried plantains which I like. But I think I like it more thinly cut like when I eat chips. These were thicker and bigger. Also it looked like they put some salt and pepper on the outside yet there just wasn't much flavor unfortunately . And the consistency was starchy enough that I decided not to finish it as I knew it'd be filled with carbs and I wanted to save my carb intake for a better cheat. Also got the Fritanga burger, which wasn't on the menu but I saw online is a limited edition burger. 100% black Angus beef patty topped with a thick slice of fried queso blanco, Nicaraguan slaw, and latin crema. Nice. I only got a small bite because my kid loved it. Empty when we got there on a Saturday for lunch. But a steady stream of customers came in as we dined.

Bacon Me Gouda

It was ok. Kind of overpriced for what you get. The bacon me Gouda literally just had the smallest amount of bacon bites, I was expecting more bacon considering it was in the name. The sauce tasted like applesauce, the sweet potato tots were good though. The inside was pretty empty for a lunch hour but there was plenty of room to sit and it seemed nice. The jefe bowl was really good.

All American burger with gouda cheese

This was a highly recommended spot to grab a burger along 242, so I decided to come here over other fast food options. They mainly have burgers, kabobs, bowls and plates. The plates come with kabobs with various proteins. They also offer 2 different grilled chicken sandwiches. Interestingly enough, you can also order a hot dog here too. I was in the mood for a burger during my visit and asked the cashier which was his favorite. Although they have a handful of burger options to choose from, he indicated the All American was the best since it comes with 2 patties. I tried that burger and substituted the American for Gouda cheese. I didn't add fries, just a soft drink. After getting my drink and sitting at the table, it was only about 1 minute later the burger is delivered to my table. I'm thinking to myself how can it possibly be that quick? It must have been partially cooked beforehand or something because I can't even cook them that quick at home. The patties are pre-formed, but appear to use fresh beef. I didn't feel like there was anything special about the burger, in fact I didn't even finish it. How does the burger taste? I like gouda cheese, but their version was a little weird for me. They are yet another burger place that doesn't have cheddar cheese. My fountain drink was pretty uneventful. I just chose an unsweetened tea, made by their juice vendor, Tractor Beverage Conpany. Customer service was excellent. Not much ambiance since I visited late on a weeknight and I was the only customer. I would like to come back and try a vaca frita bowl, but I doubt I'd come back for the burgers.

Black Magic Truffle Burger

While just a burger place decor-wise albeit with some great colorful murals, PINCHO Burgers + Kebabs is DEFINITELY someplace you DO NOT want to miss!!!! You can thank me later!!! Can I just tell you that the Black Magic Truffle Burger with Cajun Fries....I had both.... Were OUTSTANDING (and coming from Louisiana, I know my Cajun fries!) Word of caution- while not super spicy for ME, they were for some with a less refined palate for Cajun cuisine that were at the table, so please order accordingly ! The burger..... what to say except, possibly one of the BEST BURGERS that I've ever eaten!!!! The perfect size, flavors, service!!!! As I sat thoroughly enjoying my burger and fries , I offered my dining companions both fries AND a bite of my burger, Both accepted fries but declined the burger (whew); however, both stated they would be getting it their next visit..... and so will I!!!!! It's not a fancy burger place... walk-up to the counter, order, pay, get your number and your drink cup, get your drink at the drink station (unlimited refills...(may need that for those Cajun fries!) and grab some catsup and mayo and mustard packets and napkins, sit down and wait (but not long) and they bring your food to the table....HOT, as in fresh off the grill and out of the fryer!!!!! My companions both had chicken kebabs.. which they raved about... and one had it on a salad while the other has rice and veggies. Both raved over their choices! Okay, let me take a second here to highly commend them for their commitment to be environmentally friendly, they did NOT serve their hot food in plastic or styrofoam dishes, but rather paper!!!! Even the bowls were paper (lids available at counter if you want to carry out leftovers)!! With so much info out about micro plastics in our food and drinks, this was a welcome surprise! So, if your looking for a casual date night, you may well want to try Pincho's out..... I'm certainly glad we chose to do so and all agreed that we will return again....soon!!!!

El Jefe Bowl with pollo asado

Hangover Burger
Kevin E.

Often the hangover option comes with a fried egg, but Pincho's goes with the much preferred fried cheese option and I am all the happier for it. This new venue among all the other new option on 242 offers new twists on your favorite burgers and goes beyond that with some tasty kebabs and even hot dogs. They are clean and inviting, with a friendly staff. I can think of no better description than comfort food to describe these burgers and how they make you feel. Make you stop by and try their offerings.

I'm going to give Pincho Five stars because of their outstanding support for the local community! They give 25% off to all First Responders and teachers! This is an outstanding discount over an already reasonable price. I was speaking to the owner and he said, hey it's just a great idea to have Cops in the restaurant. People feel safe. I would definitely recommend an upgrade over the basic burger. Basic Burger is fine, but it's really not showing much technical artistry of this Miami chain. Go for something unique. If you like spicy, the jalapeno, burgers are excellent. If you're a mushroom fan, I would definitely go with the black magic. If you're a cheese fan, the gouda is a really excellent Burger. Beyond that the fried cheese is really kind of unique. And as the owner is a Brazilian Palestinian, his old family recipe for kebabs is certainly worth giving a try to if you're on a low carb diet. Hey, if you're really into something, completely different. Try the hot dog which is served split down the middle and covered with pineapple slices.

Chicken Kebab

Went to Pincho recently and had a great time! I ordered their grilled chicken kebab with a side of white rice and beans and it was flavorful, though the vegetables were rather salty. Everything was served fresh too, and they have decent servings that will leave you satisfied for sure. Would definitely recommend this with the truffle aioli sauce! Soo so rich in flavor. Also, the staff at the counter was kind and patient with us. Place is small, clean, and cozy too.

Why 5 stars? Because the burgers are small, but everything was delicious. --- --- --- We actually intended to go somewhere else for lunch, but that place ended up being closed, so we ended up going to Pincho and are glad we did! My wife actually just discovered Pincho the day before and we both were excited to try it in the near future. Little did we know that the near future would be 24 hours later. As soon as I looked at the menu, my eyes went straight for the Bacon Gouda burger. I still looked over the rest of it just in case, but nothing could convince me to go away from my initial love. It was just as great as I would have hoped, but the first thing I noticed when it came out was that it was pretty small compared to most burgers. I'm not sure if you can order a double, but I definitely would ask during a return visit. I will add that I have a pretty massive appetite and was visiting on a cheat day, so I was ready to achieve maximum fatness. My wife thought the burger was a fine size. My favorite part were the fries. I will always order cajun fries when given the option and asked for them to bring some pincho sauce, which is some kind of ketchup/mayo concoction. The portion was large, but I could have eaten twice the amount only because they were so tasty, not because there weren't enough. I also loved that they had agua fresca available and enjoyed the hibiscus flavor so much that I grabbed a couple refills. We will happily return -- this is a great addition to the area!

I've been seeing ads for this new burger and kebab place and decided it was time to see if the hype was true. Hubby had the hangover burger and I had the pollo asada plate. With the first bite of the burger, hubby was happy. There was a crunch from either the beautifully toasted bun or fried potato sticks...not sure which...that started the yummy experience. The layer of fried cheese added a depth of buttery goodness. Burger was a little thin and the top bun was a little too bready. Chicken was quite flavorful but a little dry. Can't say that for the rice and beans. Even though they were probably canned or frozen, adding some additional items to the beans, like fresh grilled veggies or even salt, would change the game. Also, they need to add more naan bread to the plates. I only had one small triangle which probably equated to about an 1/8 of a whole piece. There were two sauces on my plate and the avocado one was quite good. I wrapped up chicken in my triangle of bread and dipped it in the sauce...yummy! The salad was SO FRESH! Loved all the crunchy items like celery and cucumber. I chose the lemon vinaigrette...lip puckering good! Restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. Service was helpful and made suggestions when he heard we were new customers. He also gifted us with a free plate and a coupon to return for another free plate. We'll definitely return and try other menu options.

It is a counter service restaurant that has a fairly small seating area. The counter servers were very welcoming. We had a chicken plate , 2 bacon Gouda burgers and jalapeño burger. The burgers were yummy and messy the way they liked them. The chicken kabob was alittle dry and tasted like it had set for awhile. Probably would not go back but that's just my opinion. I hope you take the opportunity to try it, it might just be a favorite of yours.

While the staff wasn't outwardly rude, the blatant disregard for basic food safety and hygiene was shocking. The cashier accidentally rang my order up as "to-go" instead of "for here." Honest mistake, no big deal. However, they accidentally handed my order to another couple who was picking up a to-go order. That couple walked completely out of the restaurant, took my food into their personal vehicle, and sat in their car with it. The employee realized the mistake, ran out to the parking lot, and retrieved the food from their car. Instead of remaking my meal from scratch, the staff brought the food back into the kitchen, replated it, and served it to my girlfriend and me. This is an absolute health code violation. Once food leaves the building and enters a stranger's vehicle, it is contaminated. We have no idea what happened to that food inside their car. To make matters worse, because it had been sitting in steam-trapped to-go boxes in someone else's car, the sweet potato fries and onion rings were completely soggy when they finally got to our table. Serving contaminated, poorly handled food just to avoid the cost of remaking an order is disgusting and unacceptable. We will not be returning.

Come to find out days before our trip that Southern Star has decided to shut down at the end of June. Sad to see one of Texas' oldest breweries closing down. I had to get here before they did because their beers are great. It's right off 45 and easy to find tucked away off a side road. The grounds are beautiful as well as the building itself. The inside taproom isn't large but the building itself is so I'm wondering they have more hangout spaces. They also have a nice deck where a lot of people were hanging out. Customer service was great. Most everyone in our crew got a flight so we could try a few things. Prices here are excellent and won't break the bank. That's what I love most about breweries. I went with the Strawberry Blonde, Southern Brunch (citrus shandy), Texas Lager, and Pit Stop (cherry cider). I really enjoyed them all especially the Southern Brunch. My friends ordered some apps for the table such as fried pickles, fried mushrooms and waffle fries. They came out piping hot and were all tasty. I saw some pizzas leaving the kitchen and they looked excellent. They also had deals on whole cases of beer for 20 bucks. Killer deal that my friend took advantage of. Sad to see this place is closing. Great breweries are a dying breed from what I have read. If these places weren't so far I would support them more. I wish everyone in the company well and hopefully see them come back in the future.

Southern Space was down a tree lined road kind of in the woods in a very nice space. I didn't get to see what the outside area was like (If there was one) but I did see they had a large front porch to hang out at. We got here around 8 or 9 pm and I ordered my usual flight. The place was happening; country music was playing which is not to my taste but at least it wasn't quiet. My flight consisted of a Bombshell Blonde, a Bombshell Hefeweizen, Bombshell Smash IPA, and a Valkyrie (DIPA). Why isn't this place just called Bombshell brewing? Anyway. The beers were all decent but nothing that wow'd me. If I had to pick a favorite, it would probably have been the Hefe. They had a kitchen onsite serving up burgers, pizzas and all the fried apps that places usually do. Unfortunately, we had already eaten so I can't really report on that.

It normally comes with their house sauce, but I added the house‑made ranch since people on Google were raving about it. If you choose any heat level, it defaults to Nashville style breading; Coop's Classic is reserved for kids meals or no‑heat tenders. They asked if I wanted to swap the fries for something else. I asked what counted as an even exchange, and the only option was coleslaw--which the Double Clucker already comes with--so that made no sense whatsoever. I stuck with the fries. Oddly, the meal doesn't include a drink, so I added an Oreo milkshake since that also had good reviews. The staff was very friendly, and the milkshake came out first and fast. They served it to my table in the empty dining room. Flavor was fine, but it didn't come with the cherry shown in the photos and included in the menu description. Worse yet, it was extremely watery--super runny, not cold, and definitely not "Frosty" as advertised. See my videos. Big disappointment. When the food arrived, the tender itself was great--moist and flavorful. The mild heat level barely registered for me, but the ranch dip was better than the house sauce dip. The coleslaw didn't do it for me. It lacked flavor, and the cabbage pieces were cut way too large. Lastly, the fries. Oh boy. Not refrigerator cold, but definitely cool. Not warm, not hot--just... cool. And ack. Overall, I can only recommend the tenders. They do sell them à la carte for $4 and change, and those are the only thing worth getting that I tried. The sides and the milkshake were just a huge letdown.
