Cool place. Tombstone (movie) decor, references and menu items.

Buldogies... what can I say? I've driven by many times and always wanted to try this Gourmet Hotdog Shop. Finally made my way through the door on a Saturday afternoon. Now I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is cool and has some excellent Tombstone (movie) menu items, decor and references along with a killer Clint Eastwood Art piece.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]More seating than I thought it would have.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The owners are great. Very personable and take complete pride in their business, service and food. The attention to detail and presentation are spot on. I was in the mood for a Chicago Dog and let me tell you, this one was excellent. The dog itself is huge, the bun is delicious and the condiments were fresh and oh so tasty. I got a side of Buldogie Fries and they were perfectly cooked. The basket in my picture only shows about a 1/4th of the order... I had chomped down a ton before taking the picture. So good. The menu is really full of options and unique combinations. Many selections if you happen to not want a hotdog. They also serve things like Funnel Cakes, ice cream, etc. I loved this place and highly recommend. The owner's passion is great to see as well. I will definitely be back soon.

This place is amazing. The food was wonderful and the people were so nice there. I am looking forward for the next time I'm in the area to visit again.

My husband and I were visiting family in Conroe and this is a MUST visit spot. The hot dogs were so good!!! We will definitely be back every time we visit!

This is just a really fun little hole in the wall. The variety of amazing hot dogs is through the roof and all of them are delicious. The Reuben-covered hot dog has to be tried to be believed and the pulled pork on top of another one was as good as many barbecue restaurants. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Funky little bar that was packed and one of the best malts I've had in a long time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you can handle the calories and carbs, this will be an experience you'll be talking about for a long time.

The food here was awesome. They gave a lot of great options and very unique names. The owners were very nice and work in the kitchen cooking. The atmosphere in the place was very relaxed and felt very "westernish" from the unique food names and the decor on the walls. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

This place was busy busy at 7pm on a Friday night, and the staff warned us it may be close to an hour before we'd get our food, but that wasn't enough to scare us away. Several at our table ordered the Wyatt Earp, and unfortunately they were out of that one, so our crew all opted for different choices. (Isn't the whole world out of sriracha right now?) I picked the Montgomery Texas and it was shockingly scrumptious. When reading the menu, you're wondering if the ingredients will go together, but in your mouth, that thought is drowned out by the flavor! Very impressed with the way they can dress up a hot dog and make it something worth going back for. The ambiance is a little kitschy but I can overlook that for a small business who is more focused on food rather than interior design. For sure worth a trip if you're in the area!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very inviting staff and environment for hot dog lovers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can tell the owners really care about their customers and the craft of a beautifully made hot dog. I will never not visit when I'm in town. 10/10 every time.

    Gross hot dog Chicago style

Update to my previous review, I got a response from the owner. He basically said I was "Staring" at them which was "awkward". What ? [[HIGHLIGHT]]He blames me for seeing the filth on the floor because I came after a "lunch rush" . Nobody was in any " rush" to clean it up, apparently[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. As for the roller grill, he says they always used it. Maybe, but letting a hotdog turn into jerky and then serving it to a customer is still very poor performance. He refuses any responsibility whatsoever for any of my concerns . Typical. That's why the place is what it is. I've had that same experience with a few restaurant owners in the past. Watch "Kitchen Nightmares", 1/2 of those people are in denial as well. Raging Denial is apparently a possible side effect to owning a restaurant. If the guy responded to me even slightly apologetically , I would have revamped and changed my review score. Since he's blaming me for his poor performance, your 1 star review remains, Sir!

What a mistake I waited so long to make! This place did not disappoint. We started with the fondue, and wow... rich, creamy, and served piping hot like molten cheese lava in a proper fondue pot. The toasted French bread cubes were perfectly dunkable, and that cheese has more pull than the President. It's pure cheesy happiness in a pot--seriously, the cure for any bad mood. The beet carpaccio was another standout: beautifully thin slices drizzled with sweet fig balsamic, topped with goat cheese crumbles and fresh microgreens. Even the beet skeptics at our table went back for seconds. Next came the strawberry goat cheese salad, and I'm officially a convert. I used to avoid fruit on salads, but this one changed my mind completely. Sweet strawberries, creamy goat cheese, and crisp greens in perfect balance. I'm already planning my next visit with grilled salmon on top. For mains we shared the chicken paillard--light, bright with lemon, and paired with dreamy whipped mashed potatoes--and the steak frites. The steak was tender and juicy, but let's be honest... those frites stole the show. Fresh-cut, double-fried, perfectly crispy and salty. I could have eaten an endless basket of them. Absolute drool-worthy. We finished the night with sharing a plate of beignets. Warm, fluffy and dusted with powdered sugar. The service was phenomenal, especially for a large group. Our server never missed a beat, and the whole team was warm and attentive. The drink menu is excellent too--great selection of beers, wines, and creative cocktails. The Napoleon was our table favorite by far. Petite Suzette has officially earned a new set of regulars. We'll be back later this week, and I can't wait to try even more. If you're anywhere near Montgomery, do yourself a favor and go in. You won't regret it!

People will be much more understanding seated enjoying your views from their tables vs the crowded wait area where they can get frustrated at the wait and carry their MONEY elsewhere. You start getting money "cha-Ching" STARTED. OR YOU CAN CONTINUE WATCHING PEOPLE WALK OUT THE DOOR as I did in the first 10 minutes, you lost 4 families and it kept happening. CAN YOU SAY "LOST MONEY"??? Or if you already have enough, perhaps it's time to sell so someone else won't take their money elsewhere. Isn't it the point of having a business to make money? I'd rather make it and keep it than to watch it walk through my doors in the opposite direction. You missing an effective process AND staff. I know because this is my specialty. I definitely see why this is a favorite amongst the locals and my coworkers party. Patio seating gives a gorgeous view of the water or you can sit inside amongst the many tables and booths available. As for the food, they offer cajun-inspired eats and seafood options here, all of which are quite tasty. They have oysters available along with crawfish if you want to go that avenue. My girlfriend and I kept it simple starting with the stuffed mushrooms, comes with 7 mushrooms stuffed with crab in a butter sauce. Pretty tasty although most of the flavor comes from the sauce. As for entrees, she ordered the cajun pasta while I went with the cajun shrimp cobb salad. The pasta is quite large and rich which suited her. I enjoyed the salad which had all the fixings of a cobb salad; I would've preferred the egg be chopped up but I can't complain. We finished our meal with the bread pudding which was delicious and full of cinnamon and caramel. Apparantly it's their best-selling dessert and I can see why. I noticed they also have live music here on certain days and an expansive happy hour. While this spot is far from where we live, we're definitely open to coming back here to taste other items.

The chips were served warm fresh and very tasty. We were presented with red warm salsa, which I love it when a salsa is served warm and a creamy tomatillo green sauce as well. Both were very flavorful, but not overpowering with heat which I loved we could've had a bowl of each for each of us. Service was attentive without being overpowering because when perusing their large menu, I could not decide what I wanted to try because I wanted a little bit of everything. Our waters and chips were so very promptly after being seated. I finally decided on the specialty dinner number two I believe, which was served with a crunchy beef taco that was filled with an enormous amount of seasoned ground beef and the lettuce and tomato on the side so you could stuff it yourself. It also came with a cheese puff with some yummy yellow queso, and then a side warm plate was a cheese enchilada that was served hot and bubbly. All the flavors were so fresh and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. My husband had the taco plate, which was also with three seasoned ground beef tacos that were filled very heavily with the lettuce and tomato and cheese on the side has came with rice and beans and he devoured his plate. I'd say he'd liked it. Restrooms were clean. The restaurant itself has plenty of seeing nothing out of the ordinarily spectacular about the vibe.
