Five Guys has always been one of my favorite burgers when you're craving something more than "fast food" but still don't want to cook. As one of the first places that had this elevated style of burger, Five Guys has always been great. We ordered a few burgers and a regular fries to split for a quick dinner. The burgers and fries were delicious. Zero complaints about the taste. The service was quick and friendly. You know the economy is bad though. When the place famous for stuffing your bag full of fries only gives you your order of fries, that's when you know. Love Five Guys, but it's pricey for fast food so I don't go very often. The people working at this location are great though. For a fast (or relatively fast) food, it's a good burger. I love all the choices for toppings. If you're not a huge eater, get the small cheeseburger. I opted for the smaller version with cheese and bacon instead of just the regular hamburger. We got a small and a regular, both bacon cheeseburger, sm fries and reg drink. For $28.00 on the bill, it better be a good burger. I watched the staff, they did proper changing of gloves between food and cleaning prep. (I used to do mystery shopping). The family of four in front of me spent $53.00. I might have said ouch at that as a young family. So certainly not cheap. J think you need to weigh your choices of what can you get for $28.00 for two people. A bar burger on special with two beers could potentially be cheaper. read more

Good burger made exactly to order. The milkshakes are a special touch and very tasty with a choice of several fillings. I had the Oreo cookies. The staff was friendly and helpful. My main advice for improvement is the dining room cleanliness. The tables were generally messy and the ambiance is as important to me as the food. Do every single time I come to this location there is an issue with my food. My first experience here the customer service was way off. It wasn't terrible the cashier just wasn't friendly. He wouldn't smile and had a bit of a bad attitude, however I know people can have bad days, not in the mood, etc so I wasn't rude with him. I told him whatever it is that if he cracked a smile he may feel better. My food wasade correctly as far as they added the ingredients that I wanted but it was so sloppily made and it had a ridiculous amount of mayo on it, I had to take a few napkins to try and remove the mayo from the bread. The other yes I've visited this location the staff had been friendly or at least fairly friendly. This lady time the cashier was super nice. He didn't make my burger. The fellow that did failed to put all my topings on. My intention was to go back but I was unable to because I was working. I'm particular about my food. I'll try anything that isn't pork, rat or a roach but even then make it right and cook it thoroughly. I was expecting that yummy a1 sauce flavor blended with the BBQ sauce and the veggies on my burger. It was going to be yum yum delicious. They failed me. I'm not super bummed though. Love this location, friendly staff, quick service. Spacious location, and clean. Peanut boxes lined up as you walk in, restrooms towards the back right hand side. Has a lot of dining area to eat in. Door Dash Available at this location. I typically get a Bacon Cheeseburger from this location, always made fresh to order. Their fries taste hand cut, very salty and greasy. The only thing I recommend about this location is go out with the light on Losson Road, trying to make a left hand turn onto Transit is impossible. read more

I strongly believe Five Guys is the best fast food (well, kinda fast food) burger joint you can head to. And this location seems to uphold that truth. I spent the night drinking, which makes me want fatty, greasy food, naturally. I tried to get a regular burger and normal sized fry - but as bank-error-in-my-favor, the cooks gave me a double cheeseburger and GIANT fry, which proved to me enough food to feed a horse, or me twice. First time at this new location close to work. A few coworkers and I got together and put an order in online and was expecting it to be ready at the time stated on receipt. When I arrived they stated they wanted to cook it once I got there to make sure our order was fresh and hot. I chalked it up to possibly giving a good first impressions being a new location. No harm done in my opinion. Who wants cold food right? We all got cheeseburgers and I also ordered Cajun fries. My burger was really good and not over cooked at all. Was quite impressed for a "fast food" burger. Fresh ingredients included grilled jalapeños, green peppers, pickles tomato and lettuce. All tasted great together and were crisp. My Cajun fries were cooked the way I like, crispy on the outside. I like the seasoning they use, as everyone's "Cajun" is different. It has the right amount of kick and flavor that I look for and will order them each time I go. Will be doing lunch here again for sure. read more

Five Guys is a one-dimensional restaurant but they are very good at what they do. The beef is flavorful and juicy but the toppings are what really shine, and except for bacon or cheese, there is no additional charge for unlimited toppings. Sure, you can get better burgers at many sit-down restaurants and pubs, but for a quasi-fast food joint, the burgers are about as good as you'll find around here. The service was quick at this location when I went yesterday. I actually expected it to take longer because when I've gone for lunch at the Williamsville location, it takes a fairly long time even when it isn't crowded. This time our order was ready within about 3 minutes, and you can see that the staff is really making an effort. Lastly, the french fries are really good, the best fries I've ever had from a chain restaurant. These are made from freshly cut potatoes and you can't beat that. Lots of people like the Cajun fries, but I actually wasn't nuts about the Cajun seasoning. These fries are good on their own with some salt and ketchup or vinegar. I'm a fan. read more

My weakness and my guilty pleasure! If I'm having a terrible day, one thing I like to do is go to 5 Guys and get a burger with bacon, cheese, and grilled onions, a small fry (because the small is gigantic), and a chocolate milkshake. It's the BEST. Seriously don't get a large French fry because you will need 4 people to eat them all. They are ever so slightly crispy on the outside, just enough salt, smooth on the inside - perfect fries. And they have those sweet Coke machines made by Ferrari - where you can select 300 different versions and varieties of soda (I love diet coke with lime - I know, I know.) The free peanuts are also pretty cool even though I don't eat them because I barely have room for everything I described above. read more

I went here and ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and a small fry. The total of it came out to be $11.50 and boy was it was worth every penny. Really fresh ground beef cooked on a flat top right after you order it, bacon is pre-made, and cheese standard american cheese. Overall great bacon cheeseburger. Also, here's a tip, order a small french fry because they load the bag up with french fries and it's more than enough for one person. The french fries were cooked crispy, the way I prefer them, but, different strokes for different folks when it comes to how fries are cooked. Also, the parking in the plaza in which Five Guys is located is a tad bit cramped but it shouldn't be that big of a deal. Listen folks, if you're going to complain about Five Guys' prices, then go to McDonald's, Burger King, or Wendy's. Five Guys is a "fast casual" restaurant, not a "fast food". The difference between them is you're getting food made fresh when you order it and also, Five Guys isn't that large of a chain like a McDonald's, thus, the prices are going to be a lot higher. read more

I ordered three bacon cheese burgers two with grilled onion and one with no onion and one large fry and two medium drinks. Now when my order number 61 came up I said I ordered a large fry with that. The GM of that store was there and said your ticket does'nt say that and I'll have to charge you for them. Fair enough. Anybody can make a mistake. I am not looking for any handouts so I paid for a large fry order number 66. Now I got to the table and unpacked my bags and found one burger with raw onion. So I went up to the GM of that store and told him I ordered grilled onion. Your GM told me the ticket does not say that. They read the order back to you. I said they read it so fast I can't tell everything they read back. Now I am into an argument in the middle of your store with your GM in front of everyone there. Your GM should have just said I'll remake that for you. Instead I just went back to my table and picked them off. I don't want anything from Five Guys, sorry I complained about my raw onions, a good GM would have just remade the burger without arguing with the customer telling me ultimately it was my fault because the order was read back to me. So I will now give you a1 star, less if I could, and will look for other areas to make my complaint known. A general manager who doesn't care about his customers because he's in charge should be reviewed and taught proper etiquette with respect to the public. read more

This Five Guys just opened with the New Year. I have been to previous locations in town, but so far, they seem to have a good start here. The restaurant is a former Radio Shack in the Madeira Plaza (entrance in between Plaza and Panera) near Target. The store has a pretty decent amount of seating compared to other Five Guys in the area. Wasn't super cramped, and there was plenty of tables, with space in between, which was nice to see. The remodel looks well done even though it happened pretty fast! Most employees are new and still training, so expect a little longer wait, but all were very friendly, communicating with each other, and took the time to make sure the orders were right. My burger was very tasty. Bacon cooked well, and the vegetable toppings I got were really fresh. Fries were cooked more towards extra crispy side, but could have used a little lighter hand on the salt. At least I got a decent amount compared to barely a cup full at my last Walden Galleria Five Guys visit. They have two new Coke Freestyle machines as well. I know they were slowly phasing them in through the WNY stores (haven't tried myself), but they do have the Five Guys milkshakes here. I do find Five Guys a little pricey, but you do get a lot of food. It is nice to see businesses continuing to come to this area of Transit. This plaza can get a little cramped for parking, so just keep your head on a swivel. read more
