Five Guys at Arlington Virginia. This location is just like any other Five Guys out there. The Five Guys is located in a shopping center. There is free parking and the parking is right next to the fast food restaurant. Our visit was Tuesday July 4,2023. When you are driving up to Five Guys. You just see a lot of other food places and shopping options. You walk into the store, You have your line of the left and a seating indoor option on the right. As you make your way to the cashier, You order you food. They have burgers, hot dogs, fries etc. when you are ordering your food, You get to pick what is on your burger. They have a lot of options to put on your burger. After you done with you burger or hot dog, You can add a side like fries and a drink or even a milkshake. After you order is done then you wait for your food and enjoy the meal when it's finish from the inside or bring it on a go. The staff was friendly and very nice. They was really busy to interact with. You can tell they was working really hard. The cashier had a great smile and can really enjoy their job. We didn't have any issue with the staff members. The place was really clean. As we was waiting for our food. The manager even came and ask the crew member to clean the area. You can tell they are serious about being clean at Five Guys. The bathrooms was also clean. They did a good job being clean and very fresh during our visit. The food was delicious! The fries was seasoned very well and the burger was very tasty. I ordered the bacon burger with barbecue sauce, mayo, jalapeños, cheese and fried onions. As you bite right into the burger, you can taste how delicious and well cooked the meat was. It was definitely a good burger but we did spend $36.68 for two burgers and fries and to me that's really high. I understand inflation and that's the restaurant is in a high living area but the price was kinda outrageous. We did waited about 18 minutes for our burgers and fries. The place was not that busy either. The area is definitely safe. You are in a good area to go to this Five Guys. We felt safe the entire time we was there. This review is based on my last 2 visits to this location. The double cheeseburger was delicious, staff was wonderful, restaurant was clean and the free peanuts hit the spot. My issue was on both visits the milkshake machine was out of service. Make your customers happy aNd fix or replace the machine. read more

I don't know if it's this location specifically, I don't know if my tastes have changed, I don't know if their recipe has changed, but FGs doesn't really do it for me anymore. I make better burgers at home. This location has a decent lot, which is shared with other businesses. The food usually comes out relatively quickly. The cleanliness is average. And for a bacon cheeseburger and fries, the total was almost $20? That seems really expensive for a "fast food" burger, doesn't it? First off excellent staff here. It is a busy location, yet they kept lines and orders moving. They hire decent folks, but I think the excitement of Five Guys is over. I remember when their only location was on King Street I believe. That was some years ago, when I had hair and a better metabolism. Used to look forward to visits there. Now this and its other franchised establishments, are a place to get a burger. The peanuts are still delicious. Inflation is real. Yet paying $20 for a burger, fries, and a soda is ludicrous. I had a very basic burger. Their fries are losing their luster. It's better to go home and fire up the grill. If you have to eat this works, and it's a clean, comfortable spot. This location always gets it right! They are consistently fresh delicious burgers and they have been very good on enforcing Covid guidelines. I go here about once a month for about 15 years. Today, the buns are different. They are Mc Donalds buns I swear. I guess there was a supply issue and they went to buy some Mcd's buns but sorry, it takes like paper garbage. I'm going to give it once more chance but management, when you run out of something, tell the client. At the prices charged, to get a McD bun was a shame. Otherwise, people will just go littery accross RT 50 to the... McDonalds since it's cheaper. read more

11/24/19 It has been over a year since I set foot in this place. It has been over a year since this place first opened. I thought the service here and they layout are still great. The food here is delicious, but for some reason I kept thinking about veggie patties. At a 5 Guys Restaurant, a veggie patty might be considered sacrilegious. Be that as it may, the thought still remained in my head. Upon meeting a young man fresh out of high school, he took my order and repeated my order for the two Little Bacon Cheeseburger with grilled onions, tomatoes and extra cheese. One of my Cheeseburger sandwiches came with mushrooms to which I never ordered,...nor would I ever something do disgusting. This sandwich was missing the extra cheese I asked for. The other Cheeseburger sandwich had everything on it but the extra cheese I had asked for too. I think the employee might more training on listening to customers, but he was pleasant to talk to. After explaining my my displeasure to Danny the manager, he offered to correct the problem and have the new sandwich be on the house. I got here right when they opened and immediately there was a line of seven people. That wasn't a worry because they had both registers fully staffed, and about three people in the back flipping burgers. I went for what zi know, the original hamburger with 840 calories, that included lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup, and jalepeno peppers. They were rolling immediately, and pretty much had every order that was before me out the door. I waited about five minutes for mine, and it was cool and definitely worth the wait. The burger was huge as always, juicy and super fresh! The music was super loud probably at level 9 playing classic Rod Stewart. I took the hamburger to go, as I was already beyond late for work. I haven't been inside this location, but have ordered delivery once or twice and am always satisfied! The burgers are great and I love that you can build your own with as many topics as you want. They're always super filling and even a small fry comes with SO much food that i'm always stuffed before I even finish. They are friendly, professional, and on top of things at all times. Was happy to see this location open after they closed the one on Wilson Blvd. It was pretty busy when we came on a Sat afternoon. The decor looked modern and the vibe was busy and energetic. Good, clean location which is right near your local grocery store and Target. The line moved quick and my food only took a few minutes to come out. I finally started coming here again and have been here 4x times and the service has improved by a long shot. The shakes are amazing. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the choices. They always give you more than enough fries so if its just two of you get the little fries. Burgers are amazing and you can add endless amounts of toppings. My go-to toppings are mushrooms, green peppers ,and grilled onions. If you're eating low carb, no problem. You can get it as a lettuce wrap. The debate is over, Five Guys is better than Shake Shack. You get a bigger, better burger at Five Guys. For about $8, you get 2 patties and as many toppings as you want. I got mushrooms, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and caramelized onions. The burger was cooked just right. The french fries were also pretty good. They didn't put a ton of salt on the fries which I appreciate. The food was ready within 10 minutes of ordering. It's a pretty good location, right by the target near seven corners. Five Guys is always solid, but I have never gotten my order right at any location, which is the only problem with a place that prides itself on customization. This time I ordered a burger with a single patty, but got 2 instead, which I'm not complaining about, but the level of attention just isn't always there. That being said, the burgers are always cooked well and the meal is always great, the buns don't get soggy but I think they should be slightly bigger because the toppings usually slip out when I eat it, but that's probably just me. It's not often that I write a review but when I do it's for something that's really really good or really really bad! I recently received five guys via delivery from DoorDash. I have ordered from this location a few times before without issue however I immediately noticed that this time was different. My burger had a bun that was clearly not fresh and parts of it were even kind of hard. So I focused on the fries so that I could at least have something to eat and about halfway through I noticed a different consistency that was not grease from fries and then I started to smell some type of chemical. It was at that moment I knew that something was seriously wrong and went to the bathroom where TMI but things started coming out of both ends of my body let's just say. I'm honestly disgusted!! When I got home and started eating, my burger was medium rare. If I had known that was an option I would have asked for well done. All they ended up doing was refunding me for the coke and burger, but my dinner was still ruined. Suggest you update your Uber Eats policy to account for these situations, i.e. send another driver out with a new order to the customer. The third time they messed up our order (tonight), they mislabeled the burgers and our friend got mushrooms to which she is allergic.
