Very nice food, staff, and atmosphere. I think it was my first time eating here, too. I had the Italian sandwich, as well as a chocolate vanilla milkshake. The shake was good!

Huge piece of plastic was in my sandwich. Bit on it and cut my mouth.

I really hate doing this because I generally love Potbelly. Ordered a sandwich for pickup and it was late. No biggie, this stuff happens. Went home and was eating my sandwich and bit into a huge piece of plastic and cut my mouth. It was actually inside of the sandwich. I'm not sure how this could ever happen. Disgusting. See picture attached. Im waiting to hear back from Potbelly management.

Me and my fiance just ordered sandwiches here and they were just ok. Service was quick. I would say the sandwiches are overpriced. One large basic sandwich was approximately 9 dollars. The meat inside wasn't enough. I would say the chicken was better than the ham. There is street parking too. I would come back only if the rest of the nearby shops aren't open

a Clubbie that is supposed to have Turkey, Ham and Bacon but only has 1 small slice of ham, no turkey and burnt bacon.

Service was quick and food was good. However, it was a mobile order and they forgot to add the cheese.

The worst potbelly's I've been too. Food is never ready. Always late within online orders. They need to fix this location.

Not bad for the price and somewhat healthy. I like the salads. Fast & courteous. Smoothies and chicken noodle soup are good.

Well seasoned with a good crunch. The steak and cheese for me was a mixed bag...I saw my food coming and was dumbfounded by how big the bread was, and I didn't see any meat popping out. Pulled the sandwich open and saw what little meat I got. For $12.95, I feel a little ripped off. Especially when places like The Broiler and George's Steak and Things offer similar prices with an astoundingly higher meat in the meat to bread ratio. What little of the meat was available was delicious. I wish I had gotten a sub-$13 worth, not barely $7.65. Not sure I could come back. With how much I paid, it felt like a diminished return. And if I did come back, I'd hope the other offerings, like the breakfast sandwich, burger, and pulled pork, offer a better meat-to-bread ratio.

The flavors are good--slightly sweet but savory meat that is easy to pull apart. I also ordered an add on of short rib on the side, and for $5.50, it was a rather small portion. It comes in a cute box and the staff was super nice and offered water while I waited for my order. It's located in the Ballston Quarter food court area.

It only took a quick 10 minutes to receive our entire order, which was 3 burgers, a crispy fried chicken sandwich, loaded fries, and 2 milkshakes! I was very happy with how efficient the service was and the most important part, how delicious every bite was! The smashburgers are made with 100% halal beef and they come out HOT with perfectly crispy edges on the patties and a juicy center. We ordered 3 burgers and each of them stood out in their own way. You can get a single, double, or triple patty burger and add whatever toppings to it too. The jalapeño burger was the star of the show, it had a such a nice and spicy kick to it. I wasn't expecting much but this burger had HEAT! Another favorite was the Juicy Lucy. It was packed with grilled onions and the patty was stuffed with cheddar cheese. A super messy and cheesy option that was definitely worth every bite! I liked that Jon's Joint offered other options too such as loaded fries and fried chicken sandwiches. What I found unique is that for the loaded fries, you can get it with falafel and make it spicy! This time, they had run out of the falafel so I am excited to try it next time. If you're in Arlington and craving a casual burger spot, you need to go to Jon's Joint. You'll get quick service and a delicious meal!

Anyone who remembers this place from years ago remembers taking a number, waiting in line, and getting one of the best made-to-order subs in the region? The sandwiches were worth the wait. Maybe the parents moved back to Italia and the kids got stuck with the greedy landlord. Now its just a lazy we don't care overpriced landlord run revenue generator. 6 years after COVID and the subs are still pre-made dying in over stacked pile on the counter. The rolls are often soggy by the time they reach the customer, and the fillings are so thinly layered that each bite feels more like bread sandwich with some after thought what's inside. It screams KEEP THE COST DOWN. What was once a destination deli now feels like a place that's simply too tired to care. The decline reminds me of when DC bartenders traded free pours for jiggers. Less booze, higher prices, and a straight face while handing it to you 30 minutes later with a clever name like Adam's Apple. Same business model here. Less meat, more bread, and somehow we're all expected to clap. The saddest part is that it's still busy, largely because there are fewer and fewer alternatives. The independent mom-and-pop shops that gave this area character have been pushed out, and we're left with a shell of what this place used to be. At this point, I've had fresher and better-constructed subs from Harris Teeter. That's not meant as a compliment. When customers start comparing a legendary deli to a grocery store sandwich counter--and the grocery store holds its own--it's probably time for some serious soul-searching. Nostalgia can only carry a business so far. Unfortunately, the sandwich I had was living almost entirely on memories.
