Have eaten Five Guys food many times. Fries always a hit. Burgers are good but extremely overpriced. Customer service always good. Today, however, the food was sub par to say the least. Old veg, soggy bread, hotdog burned to jerky texture. We took it to go so didn't realize til we got home. Otherwise would have returned it. For the price, won't be eating there again. Todays order: plain hotdog ($5.69), veggie sandwich ($5), bacon cheeseburger ($9), 1 fountain drink. Total was $28 plus we dropped $2 in tip jar. So $30 for cruddy food. Fast food. Honestly so gross. Go to big als. This place has white, wimpy buns on bad burgers. Don't eat this nasty. You will wait a while and it's not worth it in any way. Fries gross and the burgers SO gross; don't waste your money people!!!! read more

the first time i had 5 guys was a few years ago back east. i've had quite a few people try to compare 5 guys to In N Out....ummm NO! this is a In N Out RIPOFF! NOTHING at all like the good stuff! um ya i've definatley had much better. ya the burgers are fresh but not that great. i can make a better burger on my grill at home and i can't cook. i think the fries are pretty sad too. and where's my combo?? i like deals 5 guys. if you aren't a huge eater and just an average eater, get their smaller sized burgers. why??? because they aren't as huge and you don't feel like you're going to blow up after and they are a little bit cheaper. i think smash burger is better. read more

Though the quality can vary wildly, the minimum standard of food here is good enough that it's always worth a stop if you're in the mood for a good burger and fries. The restaurant is always clean, and the staff is always smiling. One time I came in to hear their cooks comparing their Michael Jackson impressions, to the general amusement of staff and patrons. read more

This place is great!!!! I Moved here from California where all you hear is how good In -N- Out is but this place KICKED THEIR BUTT!!!! Fries where better and so was the burger. not to mention there wasn't 800 other people trying to cram into the place. The food was great! the service was great! I hadn't heard of Five Guys before moving to Colorado and it seems like since I came here a few years ago, burger places keep opening to compete with it. This was the first "gourmet" burger place I tried after moving here, though, and it has a lot going for it. They charge sit-down restaurant prices simply for the fact that they provide a sit-down portion of food. A double hamburger, regular sized fries, and regular sized drink cost $11, which is a bit, but gives you a rather sizable burger with your choice of fixings, a drink with as many refills as you want, and their cup of fries. Except it's never just the cup of fries, as they give you a bag and pour an insane amount of french fries into it. It's more than most can eat in one sitting. I only wish the fries were better. Too often they're limp and kind of soggy, rather than the the piping hot crispy variety one might expect. There are definitely better fries out there. The burger, though, is fantastic. And while the double patty run $5-$6, the smaller single patty offerings are available for much less, closer to $3-$4, which I forgot last time I stopped by. They have a long list of toppings to choose from to add to the burger or none at all if that's what you're looking for. Unfortunately, I don't think it quite makes up for the lower quality fries, especially with competitors that make burgers just as good, like Larkburger and Big Al's and do so with less food but also less money. Though neither of those places have free peanuts to munch on while waiting for your food to arrive. Decent food, but I don't think it quite deserves the high popularity it gets, especially with the other choices available. read more

We give this place multiple chances here in Fort Collins, it was one of our favorites in another state. Tonight sucked enough for me to create an yelp account... as a person in the service industry I'm super upset that I call in an order and I am asked when will we arrive. I pulled into the parking lot and let the person on the phone know I was there. Emery said that it would be about 7 minutes (verbatim) I wait until around that time and go inside and pay. I tip, get my ticket, and sit to wait. 20 minutes goes by and I finally got tired of watching people get their food and nothing for me. I walk to the counter only to find out the person that I paid never informed the others that I was here. At that point they rushed my order and I left in a very bad mood. We get home hungry and the burgers were raw as fuck. Don't get me wrong, I love a thicker burger cooked to a preferred temp, but these are not thick burgers. So we threw them away. Mmmmm raw meat. Thanks five guys. Should have just gotten my money back instead of assuming the food was going to be good. read more

I had to laugh to myself when I saw the sign on the wall stating Five Guys is a 'great bargain.' If you think feeding two adults and two little kids for $30 is a bargain, you must live in the Bay Area or NYC. This joint is so overpriced!!! Their burgers have decent flavor - nothing remarkable - but are a mess! There are no options size-wise for kids. Luckily, they were entertained by the peanuts, which were better than the limp fries. And why do people like the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines? You end up with flavors chosen by the previous person in line and a weak soft drink. All of the flavors are off. I was introduced to five guys thru a friend and had never heard of them. Apparently they are becoming huge on the east coast. I absolutely love their burgers!!! They are juicy and very tasty! The fries also rock! I love the huge amount you get and one order can feed two easily. I recommend Five Guys to anybody looking for a quick, yummy, juicy burger and fries! read more

I love Five Guys. I'm really picky and I only get cheese on my burgers, here I get extra cheese (it doesn't cost extra so why not!) For those of you who like tons of toppings, all toppings are free, and there are a lot of them (except bacon i think). For a burger and fries it is kind of expensive BUT it is a lot of food and freshly made. I suggest the regular size fries because usually they dump in more after they put your food in the bag. I have driven 45 minutes to get to a burger place (which was good but not THAT good) and Five Guys is just down the street from CSU and it is my favorite burger place to date. Only thing is I wish they stayed open later on weekends. read more

I absolutely love this place! When your in the mood for a burger and fries, that's not from a pick-up window, this is the place to be! I love the fries here, they are to die for! Why 1 star? Because after ordering a cheeseburger, the cook took the cheese and slapped another worker in the face with the cheese and then put it on my burger. I confronted the guy at the counter who told me "oh, that wasn't your burger". If that isn't the worst possible scenario for a business, I don't know what is. I'm at a loss for words. read more

Waaaaaaay too pricey but it was good! Really appreciated the employees cleaning up when it was slower..nice and clean although whatever you're using on the floor makes them slippery. We'd be back if it wasn't so costly. read more

This is the absolute best 5 guys I've been to. I have tried the other 5 guys in Ft Collins, and a few in Wyoming and this has by far the best staff, most fresh ingredients, and always leaves me wanting more. My kids love it too. read more

definitely the best fast food in ft collins! their small burgers are more than enough to fill you up and the large burgers have twice as much meat. one nice thing about their burgers is that they come with only the burger and no toppings but they have a lengthy list of toppings that include grilled onions and mushrooms and of course ketchup, mustard etc. that are FREE to add! even if you order a cheeseburger you can get extra cheese for free! their fry sizes are deceiving though. they have a regular size and a large size. we ordered the large thinking that it wasn't going to be that many fries but we were wrong. they fill the fry cup to the brim and then there are at least as many fries that are in the bag. so you end up with more than twice the fries you were expecting. no joke. some other really nice things about this place is that they don't cook anything until you order it. so it takes a few more minutes than your typical fast food place but its totally worth it because its so fresh. and while you're waiting they have free peanuts to munch on! the outdoor porch has quite a few nice tables to sit at that all have umbrellas and even a dish of water for patrons who have a dog with them! the only con: i can never eat mcdonalds again ;-) read more

I love the burgers here. Now they have milkshakes. I got the salted caramel with bacon and it was the greatest!
