This review is solely based on a food delivery pick up. Arrived at the restaurant. The restaurant was clean. However no one greeted me. I stood there for a bit waiting to see if someone would say hello. No. So I asked them where I would do a pick up. They were still working on it. They didn't say how long it would be. Waited 10 minutes. While the 3 guys working seemed to be having a good time talking and kind of working...... Finally i did ask how much longer it would be and they said a few more minutes. Some of the food was sitting on the counter and seemed like it would be getting cold while the rest of the order was being cooked..... Overall was not thrilled with my experience here and will personally probably opt to not do another food pick up. Everywhere else I have been, orders have been either already ready or ready to go in a couple of minutes and staff has been super friendly. That didn't seem to really be the case here. read more

In our humble opinion, no one beats a Five Guys burger, fries and shake. I order the bun-less burgers and consistently get a burger wrapped in iceberg lettuce which is just fine with me. Always good! The servers are usually cheery and fun. It's a burger place so the ambiance is very casual. The Harmony Road location in Fort Collins, Colorado, also has patio seating which is great on a nice day. read more

We come once a month or so, with our two little girls, and enjoy a filling delicious meal. Sadly on 10/08/2023: the service at the West Elizabeth Five Guys in Fort Collins was abysmal. After ordering on the App, we showed up at the time estimated food would be ready: we then proceeded to wait an additional 30 minutes, in the car, through dinner time, with grumpy 1 yo and 5 yo. To say we will avoid Five Guys for family take out dinner in the future would be a very fair conclusion. read more

Excellent customer service! I tried ordering delivery via three different companies from here (UberEats, GrubHub, etc) and had every order either cancelled or passed to a new driver over the course of 90 minutes. I finally called the store and asked what was happening. Apparently their system was down so I ordered over the phone and came in. When I got in, my fries and shake were comped and the workers were extremely friendly and apologetic. It really made my night! My wife and I prefer low carb and weren't sure we could get it here, but they have 2 options: in a lettuce wrap or in a dish. We did the lettuce wrap and it really was about as good as it gets at a fast food joint. And they had unsweetened ice tea. So we were good all round. Because this is the closest good burger joint to where I live, it's my place to go get greasy food during a hangover. Burgers are supposed to be greasy and not nutritional, and 5 guys does a good job of that. The secret is to order double toppings. If you get a little bacon cheeseburger, you can double the bacon at no extra charge. The fries are fine, but I am surprised that they don't have any type of mustard for them. It is nice that they have malt vinegar though. Makes me feel like I'm back in London. I'm always a little impatient waiting for my food here, but I guess that's what happens when they grill the burgers as you come in. Could be a little more organized, though. The Elizabeth branch of five guy is slightly smaller than its counterpart on harmony. My biggest complaint with this location is that at night the entire area is overrun with wasted 19-20 year olds. The last time i was driving home from here almost ran over a group of dudes that jumped in front of my car on Elizabeth and where carrying some dude across the street. Its nothing against the business but more against the location. Five guy is good, there beef is nice and the the simple 'all the way' burger is good. Obviously this is going to be better than most of the national chains of burgers. However you are going to pay for that higher quality. But there are a few complaints from me when compared to other upper scale burger places. First the bun tends to be really soggy, i realize there's a lot of toppings which is the reason this happens but it gets mushing and kinda icky. Also keeping one of these burgers together wile you eat tends to be undignified. I tend to woof the whole thing down as fast as i can cause the second you set that burger down, its never gonna be picked up in once peace again. And like i said with my first review, They give you A LOT of frys which is cool, unfortunately i don't like there fry's at all. Gimme some frozen fries over these any day. The fry's are way too thick, and lacking in flavor If your gonna spend over $5 on a burger i can think of 3 other places in town that i would consider before five guy personally. I like this place because it's fast, lively, has good burgers, and doesn't play the same lame please-jam-a-fork-through-my-eye music that most chains seem to love. The workers are always friendly... this should probably be a given, but most folks that work in chain burger joints look like they've had the life beaten out of them and they're contemplating jumping over the counter to kill the next customer that ticks them off.
