Little Cheeseburger: I tried the "All the way" burger for the first time, and just as I predicted, the cold vegetables and sauce quickly cooled the burger, while their moisture made the bun soggy, soft, and brittle. And the Jalapeno peppers were really spicy... Little Fries: The fries were as generously portioned as ever; thick-cut fries with skin and deep-fried in peanut oil are hard to go wrong with. But they didn't seem freshly fried; they weren't exactly cold, but they weren't hot enough, and the aroma and crispiness were significantly reduced. Little Cajun Fries: With Cajun chili powder, they weren't too spicy, but the main problem was that they were too salty. Milkshake: With Oreo cookies and whipped cream, it was so delicious it brought tears to my eyes... The texture was so rich that I couldn't drink it through the straw; opening the lid and enjoying a big bite of sweetness was the ultimate bliss. Ok this location deserves a solid good review after a great first time ever for me at a five guys. I always thought the burgers and fries looked good so after an afternoon of shopping it seemed like a perfect time to give them a try. The restaurant itself was so so neat and clean and the ordering system was simple and easy. The guy working was really nice and helpful considering I had never ordered from a five guys...kinda gave me the rundown on how the sizing and customizing worked. The food came out in decent time and was perfect and hot. Hands down some of the best fries I've ever had and the burger was amazing. Definitely didn't expect that. Five Guys to me started the realization you can get a fast food consistency but with a better quality burger.   Your are going to be waiting longer than a drive through, but you watch it made in front of you and the process you can tell is not just something nuked and slapped together. I am always a bigger fan of the fries than the burgers though.  The bun usually gets crushed, and with so many other quality burger joints chaining out now, I usually don't look to Five Guys as my first choice.  I will say I do like their fries more than most other places, but the side is never the reason I show up to a place in the first place. As Five Guys goes this location is decent.  I could imagine before a Pats game the line would be ridiculous and not massive seating given the location, could imagine become standing room only on a busy day easily.  a few people were there the day I stopped in for lunch on a non-game day, but my meal was no more memorable than other times I've been to Five Guys. read more

Five Guys is an all-around solid burger place. The beef is fresh and flavorful, the toppings are very nice, and the fries (I always get cajun style) are soft on the inside. Service has been above-average and the facilities are generally clean (for fast food, at least). The peanuts are a pleasant bonus. My major gripe with this chain is that they wrap up the burgers so tightly in metalic wrap, that by the time you get a chance to open it, the bun's steamed and soggy. Eating the burger becomes difficult with a soggy bun. The fries, while I like the soft interior, aren't quite crispy enough, generally. It's hard to compare with, say, In N' Out because of the price point. The portions are somewhat larger at Five Guys, which is partly why it's pricier. However, the quality is worth the price. But I'm still partial to In N' Out. :-) read more

This place is absolutely terrible. Let's get it straight there food is great, but the service is terrible. I went to just pick up fries for my son. Ordered the fries and had to wait 20min for them. Even though they were done in the fry hopper they would not serve me any because there were people that ordered in front of me that still did not get their food. I would understand this if I ordered a burger or a milkshake but French fries come on. It takes 15 seconds to scoop fries in a container. I even said something 15min in and they said it's not my turn. Crazy. read more

Food laced the floors all throughout. Tables were dirty. Please bring your own sanitizer wipes! During this visit, they did not get my order right. Not bad for a fast food plus burger. It was my first time at Five Guys, and I left very happy. They serve real food here. You can tell the burger patties are ground beef that have been cooked to order. Order of large fries was indeed very large. Vanilla milkshake hit the spot. Free peanuts were appreciated. Location was not busy at all during my visit (concert, not game day). It is not as cheap as other fast food places, but I think the bump up in quality is totally worth it. Thumbs up. read more

I love the burgers at Five Guys. What can I say, I just do! This location tends to get a bit of a line when there is any type of event at Gillette Stadium, if you go on a normal day you don't have to worry about waiting in line. The service is fast, the food is good, plenty of toppings to choose from, and the mound of fries that you get is also impressive. I am not a huge burger fan, but I wanted to check it out. I went at lunch and there was quite a crowd. It reminds me of a diner with the food being cooked out back while you watch. I have never heard of this chain until they came to Foxboro. The burger was very good and larger than I expected. The fries (which I rarely eat also) were fantastic! Yummmm! This is a new Five Guys at Patriots Place as good as any location (it is a counter service burger joint). The burgers are yummy, the fries are fresh cut and overflowing portions. You get to know your neighbor because they squeezed eight tables in a small store. You can find boxes of peanuts on either side of the front door. If you haven't had a chance to eat at a Five Guys here is a quick tip - the Little Burger is the 1/4 pound burger and the regular is a double, the larger fries is the size of the large cup on the wall PLUS they dump another cup in the bag. read more

This is without a doubt the best option for eating in or around the Foxboro Stadium before a Patriots game. The food isn't great but no one going to a football game is looking for fine dining. The burgers are big, juicy and reasonably priced. The fries are not great, something about the handcut with potatoe skin on them I am not a fan of. Basically you need to look at this as something to hold you over while watching the game. There is a good chance all the grease from these burgers will make you mess your pants during that game. The lines are usually really bad and the wait is even worse. There is a high probability that someone else will take your order becasue they are tired of waiting. Limited seating, especially right before a football game. The best approach is to have some hold a table while someone else in your group gets food. This establishment is one of the few that offers Mr Pib a truly underrated refreshment. I find the name a little comical in some situations, it always makes me giggle when someone says they tried five guys and it was fantastic. Hamburgers are never the first thing that come to mind... If you have ever been to a Patriots game all the things I have described are pretty much normalcy anyway so you are probably used to it. read more

Many people enjoy the food at Five Guys. However, you wouldn't enjoy it if you knew how they treated their employees. Five Guys Burgers in Foxboro, Mass is not a fair place to work by any means. They are very unprofessional and lack empathy or compassion. They are Cowardice in the manner in which they terminate employees who may not (In their eyes) be working out in the position. One example is terminating through text, utilizing highly unprofessional and hurtful wording. Not having the common decency to face the employee (As the saying goes "Out of sight out of mind"). However, to go one step further and tell someone that "No one likes them" is HIGHLY unprofessional, immature and clearly does not deserve the role of Manager. It is downright heartless. If you are an advocate for people with physical or mental challenges, then you will think twice before giving Five Guys your business. I for one know many people who dine there and can guarantee that they will not be returning. So, at the very least, they will be losing valuable customers as a result of this awful business practice. Are there above average burger places that will take a line that looks like it should take two hours to get through and dispense with it in 20 to 25 minutes? There's just one. If you're going to a Patriots game, and you actually want to see the opening kickoff (as opposed to being one of those D-bags that walks in front of me five minutes into the first quarter to get to your seats), you can do a lot worse than Five Guys. Trust me. I have. So don't let the long line fool you. It moves a lot more quickly than you would think, and the quality doesn't suffer. (If anything, I think that a rushed Five Guys burger might be better than the regular ones that I get in New York.) They also have peanuts in the shell for you to eat while you're waiting in line, and they have people who take your order at the back of the line and give you a sheet of paper with your order on it to expedite the check-out. read more

I had heard about this place and it sounded like In 'N Out burger so it immediately peaked my interest. It was close but not the same. I ate here at about 8:15 on a Monday night and it wasn't very busy. The Burgers are delicious and have a nice variety of toppings. They have little burgers and regular. I normally eat a lot and don't usually order small in fear of not finishing, but this time I did. I ordered the little bacon cheeseburger (with grilled onions, ketchup, lettuce, and jalapenos) it was enough to fill me up and leave some room for fries. The Fries are cooked in peanut oil which is great, but my fries were pretty soft and limp (I put them in my burger because that's just something I do). I ate about half of the fries and then just dumped them into my brown bag that the food came in. If I came here again Id have to get the fries because I need them with a burger but I'd probably be dissatisfied again. We have been to this location several times and this has to be our worst experience to date. I ordered my small cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, onion,mayo and bbq sauce. There was so much mayo on it that when I unwrapped it, it practically fell apart in my hands. Everything was sliding all over the place and the top bun was a soggy, mashed mess. Every time I took a bite, I ended up with more mayo on my face than in my mouth. The tomatoes kept sliding off, so I eventually just pulled them out and ate them like a side. My husband had mustard and ketchup on his and while it wasn't as sloppy as mine, there was still enough for three burgers. read more

Five Guys is not a place you want to go to too often, and this is only because these burgers are so good, but so bad for you, that you may put your own health at risk just to keep eating these burgers. Burger choices are pretty basic: Little Burger, Big Burger. Then with cheese, with bacon or plain. Most toppings are no extra charge, and they put them on for you, even condiments. They have a list of odder toppings for an extra fee. Malt vinegar and extra ketchup are available on the side for your fries. Service is pretty fast, and they give you a TON of fries, which are also delicious. Be ready to order when you get to the front of the line. The staff means business. Whether you're hungover, starved or just looking for a quick lunch, these burgers are like manna from heaven. Perfect with just ketchup for me, thank you. If you have peanut allergies, DO NOT ENTER. They say so on the door. They have peanuts available to snack on, and shells are sometimes scattered on the floor. Decor is basic. Tiled walls, butcher block tables, open kitchen, with sacks of peanuts stacked along the walls. Honestly, I'm not sure what they do to these burgers to make them so good. First let's start out with what Five Guys actually is. It's a fast food place. Once we settle on that fact, the rest of the review will make sense. For your money, I dare you to get a better burger this quick anywhere else (in the area anyways). This is where Five Guys succeeds. They give you a fresh burger with whatever fresh toppings you want on it.. The fries are fresh, hot and excellent. (regular or cajun spiced.) The line, even when long and littered with indecisive people, moves quickly. Seats open up regularly and you can be in an out relatively quick. It can be pricey especially if you don't enjoy toppings. However, most establishments nickel and dime you for anything beyond basic condiments, lettuce and tomato anyways. The portion of fries is more than sufficient and the quality of ingredients I believe add value (remember you can get things fast, of high quality, and cheap...pick two). You'll pay the same or a bit less at any fast food chain for their version of a high quality burger. All in all a great place to go for a quick burger with friends or family while you're out. Everyone that works here is absolutely incredible. I'm there all the time and they know me by name and order now. Their food is spectacular given that it's technically fast food and fairly cheap. Yes, it may be a little more expensive than most fast food places for a burger, but it's so worth it. Plus everything is fried in peanut oil, not grease. I'm guessing Five Guys Burgers and kind of like the In n Out of the east coast. I've wanted to try them for the past half year since hearing about this and absolutely loving the In n Out. Finally had a chance when the boy and I were down at Patriots Place yesterday. We were on a hunt for food and stumbled across Five Guys. We walked in and it was crowded. Both of us decided to order a regular burger with fries. Big mistake. The portions are not just big; they're ginormous! I wish someone had told us that. The regular burger was actually a double burger, and I'm guessing the junior burger was a regular burger. And the fries. I think I could have fed a family of 8 with one portion. As for the taste, the burger tasted like anything you'd get at any greasy spoon. It was good, nothing amazing but I could see the potential for amazingness if you ate it while drunk. A definite plus was that you could order a bunch of toppings for nothing extra, which I guess is one of their selling points. I was able to customize my burger with not only lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions, but sauteed mushrooms and sauteed onions as well. And the fries tasted pretty good. Would I go back? Sure. The newest place to eat a burger and some fries, and I needed to go check it out. The reviews on Phantom Gourmet, and the smell of the food cooking had me super excited to try their bacon cheeseburger (with lettuce, pickles, mustard and ketchup) and their hand cut french fries (made to order). The first few bites of the fries? NIRVANA. Crisp and salty! The burger? Meh. Not bad. Not great. I can't say that in a blind taste test, I would be able to differentiate their burger from an actual fast food place (like Wendy's). For taste alone, I'd probably give 4 stars. But this location is PACKED to the gills, where you get knocked on the head with elbows and handbags as people fight for seating. Dock one star for poor space. For the price, I'd rather go to Red Robin (a few steps away) and enjoy a booth and more menu selection. read more

She was difficult to hear, spoke really fast, and had no time for a couple of tourists. Anyway, she could have told us that you really have to order the adds, otherwise you just get a bun, burger and cheese. That's what we got. Usually there is something already in the burger. So the burger was ok, but really boring. At this price, the staff should at least tell us tourists that it's important to add ingredients to get the burger you want. read more

Always love a good burger and fried and Five Guys never disappoints, especially when it comes to an overabundance of fries to share. My buddy from work and I came here before going to see a movie and were pleasantly surprised to actually sit down (not often is there a seat available due to the lines of people). We got lucky, because after ordering our food and finding a seat, about 20 people walked in behind us and it was packed beyond belief. It shows that if you put out a good product people are willing to wait in line for it and I haven't had any bad experiences with Five Guys and I've eaten in several different states and had the same quality everywhere. One of my friends from college is from the Baltimore, Md area and she used to always talk about goin to Five Guys because they have such great burgers. She always asked too if we had one up here. I finally went to the one at Patriot Place (not knowing one was there). My boyfriend and I were doing some last minute shopping and I said to him, "look, there's a Five Guys. Rose is telling me how good they are lets try it". He obliged and instead of red Robin, we ended up at Five Guys, Great Burgers. Seasoned perfectly. Assorted Toppings. French fries were great too!
