Best lobster roll around. Delicious every time and we make sure to visit when in town!! The staff members are equally as amazing.

Outstanding New England food and hospitality. The steak tips were the best I've ever had -- perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and tender. The crinkle-cut fries were fried to crispy perfection. The quahog and chowder get a true New England stamp of approval (I grew up here and now live in the Philly area, so I know what I'm talking about). The fish and chips portions were enormous, golden, crispy, and delicious. Even though the inside was packed, the staff cranked up the heaters and gave us the patio all to ourselves, which was a great touch and showed how much they care about their guests. The place has a classic New England feel, bringing back memories of growing up camping at Normandy Farms down the road. The owners were welcoming and genuinely hospitable, which really set this place apart. Fantastic food, nostalgic vibes, and top-notch hospitality. On to see the Tom Brady statue -- Go Pats!

Lobster roll. Lots of lobster, but know NE style is cold. I prefer the butter and warm style.

It's a small, but cozy tavern that has very good food and beer. Came here 4x this week while working in the area. My kind of place. Live music on the Sunday. Old Bay wings were perfect. Chicken parm pretty decent. Sheppard pie superb.

BRYANA is the best! best Painkiller bev Eva! #laineywilson We'll be back For sure! Great food .... and new friends!

Half a lobster roll with generous portions and a great cost!

Just wrapped up another visit to the best hidden gem in the area and felt prompted to write a review because we love this spot so much! Filled up on appys (Roo balls, mozz sticks, and quahogs) and had to pack up my TBLT but can't wait to have it later tonight for dinner! My friend had the lobster roll which was overflowing with lobster meat and at a cost surprisingly lower than market cost. We had leftovers of everything! Food was amazing as always, cocktails were cold and strong, and service was excellent with Bryana being one of the most attentive and personable servers we've ever had. We sat outside and enjoyed the overhead fan of one of the covered tables. It was a perfect afternoon lunch. We love the Roo and can't wait for the next visit!

(ordered takeout) Mmm the steak carbonara pizza was soo bomb!! Sorry forget to snap a pic of that one, but you don't need a pic lol just get it it's got amazing steak tips and bacon! and tomatoes and like Parmesan cheese I think, according to the menu. I don't remember I ate it like 2 nights ago. I just remember it tasted like steak pizza greatness. And today I got this here salmon with the veggies and rice it comes with... mmm m mm so delicious. I really wanted some fresh seafood since I was out here by the ocean (I'm from West TX lol) and the salmon dish did not disappoint AT ALL. Might f around and eat here a third time tomorrow lol thank you Red Rooster!

We stopped into the little (look at the pictures) bar for dinner on a rainy Friday night. Live music (guy with a guitar and he was good!) and lively crowd. We were a party of 8 and sat outside (they had a side to keep the rain out). It was really noisy inside. Atmosphere we gave a solid 5. Our food was a 4 overall. The great - Shepard's pie and house made chips! The really good - chowder, tater tots, and the fish and chips. The disappointing - the lobster roll. It lacked any flavor. The service was really good too. We'd eat here again.

Been here 4 of the past 5 nights. * Night 1: Chicken tender basket with tots. Amazing tenders, hand breaded. * Night 2: Wings with tots. * Night 3: Shepherds Pie. Amazing. My wife had the cup of chowder and quahog. Amazing, again. * Night 4: Irish Nachos. Best homemade potato chips ever. Lots of cheese, jalapeños, tomatoes. Right down road from Normandy Farms RV Resort.

Although the restaurant is small, it's very cute. It has a lot of personality. Friendly bartenders and staff and the food is good.

Ask the Community - The Red Rooster Bar & Grill

So the bar is listed under lobster roll search and on the yelp page has pictures of lobster rolls. but on the website and menu pics I don't see lobster rolls listed. Do they still sell lobster rolls?

Yes, they are on the daily special menu and are mostly likely available seasonally. I was there a couple of weeks ago and lobster rolls were available as a special.

    Is it kid friendly?

I took my 9 and 12 year olds there for dinner and it was great! They liked the pizza. I guess it may not be ideal if its packed for a game, but it was clean and family friendly on a normal Saturday early evening!

Decor wise, there's not much to write home about. Outdated with lots of wood but, hey, it's a pub. Which is why I didn't expect fancy restaurant prices. The evening started out fine. Our friendly young server brought us a basket of warm Irish soda bread with real Irish butter, which was delicious. Our water was served in cute logo glasses. Strangely enough, the beverage menu listed wine prices but not cocktail prices. And we wanted Margaritas, which weren't listed. When we asked our server, she immediately said they didn't offer them. Since they have a full bar, we asked why. I honestly don't think she knew what a Margarita was. She said she'd ask the bartender & came back to tell us they could make them. We asked the price. Again, she had to find out... $12. We agreed, but when she returned with two drinks in Old Fashioned glasses, I refused mine. The drink was literally 4 sips! My dining companion kept hers & said it was nicely made but not worth the price. I ordered a ginger ale instead ($3). We both ordered fish & chips ($21) and, again, were disappointed with what we received for the price. The chips appeared to be hand cut & were tasty, but the small, thin fish fillets were breaded in what I believe was cornmeal. Edible but certainly not what you'd expect from an Irish pub. Where's the beer batter? Neither of us liked the tiny cup of coleslaw. Afterwards, we asked for a dessert menu. Again, no prices. There were three desserts & several coffee drinks listed. We opted for Irish coffees ($13) and were pleased with the coffee, whiskey, brown sugar and fresh whipped cream concoctions. With tax & tip, the total bill came to $105.76, way too much for this kind of place. And, they ended up charging us $13 for that mini-Margarita. Whatever. We won't be back.

Having prior experience with this establishment, I departed today with a sense of disappointment…read more My companion and I both ordered the fish and chips; however, the portion sizes did not meet my previous expectations. The coating was not the traditional batter but rather a crusted layer of bread crumbs. Typically, Irish or English pub-style fish and chips are prepared with a beer batter to achieve a crispy crust, a preparation I believe I previously enjoyed at this venue. Consequently, this was a notable disappointment. Additionally, when requesting two margaritas, the waitress informed us that they do not serve margaritas. While I understand that it is an Irish pub rather than a Mexican establishment, it is a fully licensed bar and pub. We did ask her to request it from the bartender, which was produced. Although it was good, size matters; it was a 4oz drink. Not worthy of a $13.00 price tag. Regarding portion size and pricing, the fish and chips were quite expensive, especially considering the limited portion size. My recollection is that in the past, the portions were sizable enough to share, but not so much now. Lastly, my observation is that many restaurants, once renowned for excellent cuisine, have exchanged flavor and portion size for profit. Giving customers less and increasing prices threefold. This is a pub, not an elegant establishment. I felt the prices were higher with less product for your money. I awarded two stars because the Irish soda bread was delicious, and the Irish coffee was quite exceptional.
