This is my second visit to Five Guys. And I was pleasantly surprised. I got the order to go and got a bacon cheeseburger, with grilled onions, lettuce and tomatoes. The burger delicious. I got it to go but I decided to eat it in the car. The second time I got the order delivered. The same burger but the bread got a little soggy, I guess from maybe the grilled onions. It was a bit more messy. I definitely recommend eating it right away. I did order fries and I didn't realize that there was an bag full. The burger was a decent side so I didn't eat all of the fries even though they were really good and seasoned well. It's definitely enough to share. I'll definitely check them out again if I'm in the area. It's a good burger not a great price but a good burger. read more

Alright guys...so I've seen a lot of reviews about how expensive this place is, but I kinda beg to differ. First off, the beef is good, it doesn't taste like mostly fat like McDonald's. The price does go up as you add cheese or bacon, but the cool part is the amount of free awesome toppings available ! I love grilled onions!! When I eat this burger, I'm not left with this gross after taste or pit in my stomach like Burger King. I think Wendy's and Whataburger are just as pricy, but at Five Guys, the service is so much better! Also, yes the fries are pricey, but they give you a huge sackful and so like at least 3 people could share that bag. They are fresh cut daily and they tell you where your potatoes are coming from. I always heard of and wanted to try Five Guys. I feel disappointed. They are over rated. The restaurant is clean and the toilet didn't reek of piss and shit. Expect to pay premium prices for ordinary food. $4.99 ($5) for a common hotdog that was split on the side, cooked, and placed on a bun. $5.49 for a plain small hamburger, meat and bread. $7.29 for a regular hamburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions. The onions were sweetened with sugar and caramelized. They were good and the only flavor on the sandwich. $3.49 for small fries. These were good and tasted like potatoes. I don't know if they would offer any mayonnaise or other sauces for the fries. At these prices I was afraid to ask. $0.00 for drinks. We didn't buy the expensive drinks. We just waited until we got back to the car. $23.39 is the cost of 2 hamburgers, one all the way, hotdog, and fries. My curiosity for Five Guys has now been filed with reality. read more

The lady taking our order was nice but when we told her there was no ice in either drink machine she looked at us like she really hated us. I understand changing the ice os annoying as I've had to do it many times so I get that but please don't cuss in front of my son while you're trying to make conversation. Five Guys has awesome burgers and fries! They offer a little burger or cheeseburger with one patty or a regular that has two patties and is gigantic! One very appealing aspect of their burgers are the topping choices: Mayo, ketchup, relish, mustard, onion, jalepeno peppers, lettuce, green peppers, pickles, AI Steak Sauce, tomatoes, BBQ sauce, hot sauce, grilled mushrooms, and more! The fries are typically an abundant portion no matter what size you choose. I recommend sharing a regular size if you are with two other people. You can get the fries cajun style or regular. I prefer regular. Five Guys has amazing milkshakes and also offers grilled cheese sandwiches, veggie sandwiches, BLT sandwiches, and a veggie sandwich with cheese. Have been many times but tonight my wife and I went and we were the only ones in the place but we're ignored for the first 2 minutes then they slowly turned around but never asked if they could help us. The service was extremely slow tonight. Over 20 minutes for a single cheeseburger, and there was one customer that had already ordered ahead of me. The Sweet Tea dispenser was empty and the fountain drinks were all flat - no carbonation. They ended up refunding me for the drink. I really enjoy Five Guys - this location has a good, friendly staff who are very welcoming, and they have always gotten our orders right. However, Five Guys has significantly increased their menu prices over the last couple of years (I realize that's a subjective term, but still...a $2-increase in the price of a burger is a bit much, without changing size or anything else). On top of that, as much as I appreciated the crew working this particular night, they were quite understaffed and quite overwhelmed. That may not always be the case, but it was on this night. Last, I don't know if it's a new system or has been in place - but the online ordering combined with counter-service was way too much for the crew to handle. Things were getting mixed up, orders weren't ready when the online ordering said they would be, and there were quite a few disgruntled patrons, unfortunately. We were in Mobile loking fir a good buger and were drawn to the 5 star rating. The quality if the food, service, and atmosphere was maybe a small step ahead of the fast food chains. Ee Gad! The thin, overcooked burgers were tasteless, and dissolved on contact. With condiments it was soup on a bun. Service was courteous but disengaged. The atmosphere standard fast food. I conclude that the franchise managers and their online reputation consultants have pumped up the ratings. This is fraud, pure and simple. I guess the multitude if locations should have been my first hint. Yelp has been played! Fooled me once, but then thw followup is someone else's problem. Another mark of corporate logic. read more

OMG!!!..... From the first bite, I knew I had eaten this burger before, but wasn't from Five Guys. So, I tried to remember where I ate this burger last, and who this chain ripped off. Then, I remembered. The last time I had a burger this mouth watering, was 4 years ago. One of the lady things my mom made before she passed. So, maybe my mom ripped off their recipe! What ever you do, don't get it to go, because it's not a burger you want to push through your face while driving! My boyfriend loves to go here, but I get sick every time. It's very greasy and salty. The vegetables for the burgers look good, and I love that they have so many things to choose from. I hate that when I order a burger, I forget to specify a small burger, and end up with a double pattied mess. I find it interesting to know where the potatoes for the day came from, but it's really not necessary. The fries are well seasoned, but they're too thickly cut and a bit soggy. THis five guys is just as great as the rest I've been to. No problems here. I usually don't get problems from five guys. The food is made right in front of you and it's fast enough kinda service. So expect everything hot and fresh. Every time I go I always just for the Cajun fries. Love how they always put extra fries in the bag for all customers. You feel like a MVP coming here. And the fries maybe greasy but they are insanely good. I'm an odd one so I get a side of mayo to eat with them. Fools down the spice taste for me. I'm giving this five guys a five star review because when I first went here they had what looked like the new employee wiping down the walls which already looked clean.
