I never make bad reviews but ordered from Uber eats last night. Ordered five guys, the food was so sloppily package grease coming through everywhere. The fries were cold. My milkshake was melted and it was $80. I only tried to buy one burger get one free ended up with three burgers all with the same crap on it. First time in a 5 Guys, tho I've heard nothing but raves about their burgers. Add mine to the list. It may be a little on the pricey side($12 for a bacon dbl cheese, dressed as you want) , but definitely a step up over your typical fast food burger. Place wasn't busy, so quick service. read more

Five Guys... typically my favorite burger. What is it about the Mokena/Frankfort/New Lennox chains that franchisees just can get right? Burger King Mokena-garbage, Chipotle Frankfort-garbage, Five Guy New Lennox-garbage... This is now the third time I am here, store is never open on time... I literally feel like I'm on the middle of a south side crap hole neighborhood (where I've come to expect these things). Seriously so ridiculous... Opened about a month ago and closer for me then going into Orland Park on a weekend. Noah is great and making sure new folks new to Five Guys know how the menu works. I had the cheeseburger (it has two patties) and it didn't disappoint. Interesting that the cheese was not put on the patty on the grill. Actually could taste more it of it this way I think. Something new for Five Guys is the milkshakes. This location and Tinley Park has it so far I was told. I had the Chocolate Milkshake and it hit the spot! Location seems to have a steady stream of customers even though it's fairly new. Very clean inside. Great location by the light into the busy Lowes/Target/Chilis/Portillos plaza on Lincoln Highway.. read more

Insanely slow and incorrect. After a 15 minute wait, the burger I got was not the burger I ordered, nor was the burger my wife ordered. When I brought mine back in, the cashier asked to see my receipt (which I hate because now I have to defend what I ordered versus what the cashier typed) only to see that they just ignored the instructions. Then the cashier left, saying he need e a manager. He cane back with a bucket of fries, but no manager. When the manager showed up, he asked if I want a refund (No, I didn't come here to exchange money, I came for dinner). Then I waited another 15 minutes for the correct burger. Ordered 2 cheeseburgers and small fry today, delivery took forever and when it finally arrived we were short one cheeseburger. DoorDash did a nice job and gave me a credit for the missing item but I'm disappointed in 5 Guys not being able to hire decent help to get the orders correct. I'm sure the pandemic is hurting businesses, especially in getting enough quality people to run their restaurants, but to miss a whole item on an order is inexcusable. Ordered food last night for dinner. We got 5 burgers, 2 medium fries, one small pop and 4 small milkshakes. Our total was over $80! Yes, the menu says the prices, but it was still shocking. The fries were fresh and hot, but tasted terrible. They all got thrown out. The burgers were mediocre at best and honestly, I would have been happier with McDonald's as far as taste goes. Went there tonight for take out at about 7:40 pm. Webpage said it closed at 9pm. Saw two teenage boys near the back, laughing and talking, one was working some kind of remote control device. Heard music playing from outside. He saw me through the window and looked away. My daughter called on cell, and they answered. They told her she had to order on-line and they closed in 20 minutes. He said he didn't know how long on-line took. He did not offer to take her order and clearly did not want to be bothered. We left and went to Culver's. It was very good. The guy cashiering was wearing gloves. The same gloves he used to make the food because he was the only one working. Apparently his 2 counterparts were on break because they showed up later. And then I watched a different guy scratch his nose with a gloved hand and then continue making someone else's food! BARF!! Seriously, learn how to use gloves! read more

We've been to Five Guys many times, but yesterday the Manager was not there and it was obvious. The floors were dirty with spilled food and even though there were only 2 couples in in the place when we walked in, not one clean table. The red counter where you pick up the food was also dirty as was the station with the napkins, straws and ketchup. The place was a mess. There were four teenage boys working there and when there were no customers in line to order, they ALL went to the back room. Did I mention there was not one clean table in the place??! Furthermore, we got a chocolate shake that was almost $6.00 and halfway full. I asked the very apathetic worker if he could please fill it up and he said "this is how they come". Unbelievable. We have been to 5 guys many times, I recognized two kids who normally work there and were always spot on with customer service. I guess when there is no Manager there, this is what you get. Hugely disappointing, especially when you dropped $32.00 on two burgers an order of fries and a shake. I hope the Manager sees this review and makes some changes. read more

My husband, daughter and I were in Five Guys before we went grocery shopping, it was kind of sad because it wasn't like it used to be before COVID. I missed the peanuts. But the burgers and fries were excellent. I get my burgers with cheese and ketchup, but my family get there's loaded, and they appreciated how fresh and crispy the tomato and lettuce were. I could not believe it was $17!!! For what, a burger and fries??? Grease saturated the roll and it was obvious they use lower grade beef. Fuddruckers and Meatheads offer much better food quality at half the price! Stopped in early lunch 2 younger dudes working Kyle and Liam.I as usual let them know about what i experienced as i was waiting for food. Neat. Clean. Plentiful parking at this location in an out lot in front of LA Fitness, so you can go work off your burger, fries and shake. Excellent fast food burgers (wish they offered avocado as an add-on). Fabulous french fries that taste like what they are, freshly made from real potatoes and never frozen. Love places that have Coke Freestyle machines, and Five Guys does. Staff is friendly. When they're busy, it does seem that it takes a bit longer than you'd expect for your order to be ready. Persons with severe peanut allergies need to avoid stepping inside: Five Guys offers free in the shell peanuts to eat while you wait, so there's no getting away from them. Our order was ready for us when we picked it up and was 100% accurate even with condiments being different on the 5 burgers that we ordered. The staff is very friendly. They even remember us from previous visits. Glad they are making shakes at this location. My personal favorite is banana chocolate. We have been going to Tinley and Orland locations prior to the New Lenox location opening. My favorite burger toppings are mushroom and grilled onion. The fry portions are very generous. I think they have a very good cheeseburger, a little better than portillos, but they are quite expensive. They do give ample fries to fill you up, but they are soft cut fries whereas I prefer crispy fries. They are well salted though. It was $14 and change for the cheeseburger, sm fry, and and drink. A great plan "B" if the lines across the street at Portillo's are too long which they always are. Food always delicious. My issue is not so much with the food, but with the staff. If you ever see an employee on their phone or using their phone with the gloves on remember there are so many germs and bacteria passed through phones. These same hands that touch the phones touch your food. This girl was using her phone instead of working for one, but for two she handles the food as well. Managers please police your employees and customers don't be afraid to tactfully request that they change gloves before handling your food. This is a common problem among most food chains. read more

I'm a HUGE Five Guys fan and I absolutely LOVE the food.... One of the best things is the amount of Fries they usually pack in the bag.. My family of 5 usually is good with the one order of fries but for some reason this location is VERY cheap with the fries.. I'm not the only one to notice either, a neighbor of mine said the same thing... The food is still GREAT but I hope you read this and improve the amount of fries given out, I was always under the impression they give a ton...
