I have recently discovered this gem and just visited for my second time. My guests that I have brought there have also been extremely pleased with the food and service. On both visits, I myself, chose to get the special which on Fathers Day was filet medallions and stuffed shrimp (excellent). This past weekend, I got the grilled medallions and lobster tail. Omg it was perfection! The atmosphere is great, the servers are polite and professional. My two complaints for this past visit would be that my martini really pretty much sucked.... super sweet, tasted like Kool-aid and no taste of booze and the red velvet cake that i ordered was, in my opionion, should have been thrown out. It actually tasted more like rasberry cake instead of red velvet but it was very stale. I took two bites and tossed the rest. However, I won't let that deter me from coming again. On both visits, the food was fantastic and we ordered a variety of apps and dinners and everything was terrific. We will definatly be coming again and will be spreading the word. I ordered from Door Dash and boy was I happy. I ordered a julienne salad and southwest rolls. The only difference between ordering from door dash is the price is higher than the restaurant. I forgot to take a picture before I started eating the salad. But there's enough food to feed 2 people at least. If you go to the restaurant you get a bread with cinnamon butter. My husband had the Shrimp special today and I had the Chicken Philly Cheesesteak and they were both Delicious!! They came w/soup and fries and w/the delicious bread for the soup. We chose sweet potato fries that were yummy! We couldn't even finish our meal. I only ate a 1/4 of my Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Whether we come as a large group, or just a couples night out (my wife and I were just there by ourselves less than a week ago), the food is always great and so is the service. Stopped here for lunch with my wife. The menu was diversified enough and we both found what we wanted. They also have daily lunch specials and sell liquor. My New York strip sandwich was huge and came with side of fries and soup. Wife got the Greek salad and it was unbelievably huge. We ended up eating the rest of it for dinner later that day. Today, we had the privilege of encountering a real-life angel in the unlikeliest of places - our waitress. Following our daughter Kim's radiation consultation, we decided to take her out for a meal, and it was there that the waitress overheard our conversation. She noticed my daughter's chemo cap and took it upon herself to initiate a conversation. What transpired next left us all in awe - the waitress had herself undergone treatment for breast cancer six years ago and took the time to reassure my daughter that her hair would grow back. Her own hair, she explained, had grown back long and thick, along with her eyebrows and eyelashes. She ended by calling her "beautiful" and that made her smile. This moment of kindness was precisely what my daughter needed to hear today. Thank you for taking that moment with us. Its so appreciated. (Along with the wonderful food.) In a world where division and strife often dominate the headlines, it is heartening to remember that there are still individuals who genuinely care about others. Let us all strive to pass on this kindness and share our humanity With one another. read more

We were a party of 7 for an early dinner, the first visit to this restaurant for all of us. We ordered appetizers, cocktails, soft drinks and wine. For our dinners we ordered mainly steaks, the special surf and turf and a Greek chicken breast. Everything was outstanding! The food is good, the problem with this restaurant now is they are not open late anymore, not even on the weekends. This used to be one of our go too late night restaurants and now they're not open late anymore. The last time you were there it was very crowded so they might want to rethink being open a little longer. They always have good soup. Drive past this place way too many times and finally went today with a group of nine for lunch. It was great from the beginning till the end. Very opened area when you first walk in so you don't feel crowded and our waitress was top-notch to say the least. Ive been here before multiple times with family and friends and have noticed some inconsistencies in food quality. For instance, the prime rib sandwich my mother or I would always order could either be tender or tough with grissle on various shavings which makes for an unpleasant meal. So we'll never order it again and now we have second thoughts of dining there, however if we do, we will try other entrees that yield a safer result like their grecian chicken or a salad. Sadly, Whenever you order steak at a restaurant thats not a dedicated steakhouse, the quality of the meat can be very underwhelming and inconsistent. As a chef, I would never slice parts of the leftover prime rib that had grissle on it for a phillysteak sandwich, wrap or a salad. read more

Called several days ahead to assure seating for Mother's Day. We arrived a little early for our reservations and every person at the hostess desk greeted us with big smiles. Not long after giving the party name we were seated. I generally wouldn't comment on this, however it could be a problem. We were seated at a table as I pulled my chair out it sort of slid, so we held the chair for our Mother to assure the chair would not slide from under her. We all noticed the unusual sliding of the chairs all around the table. I looked down to see if maybe the floor may have been wet but it was not. Our waitress came rather quickly and took our beverage orders to allow us to look at the menu. Glad to have time to look over the Specials as well. There were many appetizing meal offerings. One of our party ordered Calamari as an appetizer. I tasted it, however not very good. They tasted as though they were the frozen pre battered kind and there was no additional seasoning on them. The marinara sauce didn't really do anything for the taste. And they were rubbery, very chewy. Fortunately there is a different take on dinner (for the most part). A hot loaf of bread with sweet butter was brought out with our salads and one of the party got the Chicken soup. The person who got the soup raved about how good it was and there were plenty pieces of chicken in the soup. Surprisingly everyone enjoyed their meals or the main protein the mixed vegetables had a lot to be desired. The veggies were over cooked and mushy and did not have much seasoning on them. Although it was a good blend of vegetables. Everyone did really enjoy their main protein with all of the meat cooked to the requested temperatures. All in all the food was good, some items needed seasoning, there was a good blend and hearty servings - we all had enough to take something home for a later snack. We did order desserts to go. I can only speak for the one I ordered, and that was the Carrot Cake! Moist and delicious and enough for two servings. I recommend this family style restaurant you get great service (waitress we had was fantastic!). Oh and if you like Adult Beverages they have a full bar. I've had a tough month of reviews in July... But the last three restaurants that I've attended had been phenomenal number one Palermo's on 95th in Oak lawn. Goat and Vine in Bolingbrook and now Williamson's restaurant in New Lenox all wonderful restaurants.. So let me start my review I started off with my favorite soup which is baked french onion and it was delicious... We ordered an appetizer plate which consisted of potato skins, onion rings, ribs, mozzarella sticks And wings $17.50 well worth it... They had a special menu which we had a ribeye steak which my daughter had was very juicy. Not tough. It was on a special page. Special price I had ordered also from that menu which was only $12.50 was the chicken stroganoff.. I love stroganoff but most places make it with beef and I personally don't eat beef So it was a real treat to be able to have this and it was delicious.. I also had ordered the sesame chicken over rice was also good. More of an Americanized entree.. My son-in-law ordered Philly beef sandwich which was also good. The slices of beef were tender The entrees came with soup or salad.. being a Soup connoisseur... As easy as chicken soup can be to make, I cannot tell you how many restaurants can mess it up sometimes by adding too much chicken Base.. . I could have probably ordered five bowls That's how good it was. We had a side salad of Caesar which was also delicious. The romaine was fresh fresh parmesan and their croutons were fried perfectly. Not burnt hard or old... I had to hit their dessert menu their cakes are sliced generously so they are shareable. We ordered the brownie with ice cream which also was good and a seven-layer fudge cake that was dry. I would like to order it again but I feel I have to ask if that's the way that it's supposed to be but the carrot cake that was spot on moist the cream cheese was balanced. It was wonderful.... We had the pleasures of Sheila serving us. She did a fantastic job... Made it very comfortable and was very efficient.... They have plenty I'm parking which is great and it was right off i-80. If you're ever out in that direction I would suggest stopping by to grab lunch or dinner... The restaurant is beautifully designed. Very clean... full bar bar with slot machines... Very cozy entrance with seating area. If there's a wait ....and carryouts are available..., I would check out the special page. They changed daily with lunch and dinner. My mom and I went here and loved it! The service was great and food came out fast. We ordered the spinach and artichoke appetizer. The chips were a little stale, but the homemade bread was fresh and so good! My mom got the baked scrod with mashed potatoes and green beans for her entree. She said she liked it a lot. I ordered the reuben sandwich with fries and cream of chicken soup. I loved the homemade soup. The sandwich was good and the meat wasn't fatty. Overall, the prices were fair and good food quality. Let's start with the staff. Everyone was so friendly. They definitely work as a team to provide supreme service. The food was so delicious. Our only mistake was ordering a dish each to go. Between the 2 apps (ate 1pc of each) and the soup. We were already feeling full by the time the entrees arrived. Back to the soup. Best ever French onion ever. I'll be back for that alone. I wanted to take my son out for for a nice birthday dinner. And I think we would've enjoyed a fast food place more. We ordered the "crab stuffed" shrimp for an app, it was nothing as described. It was a sloppy cakey mess and the "butter herb dressing" tasted like a country gravy. Reminded me a little bit of a crab cake but that's not what I ordered even as a "crab cake" it was inedible. My salad was warm and the margarita was syrup. Not to mention we had little bugs (assuming gnats) flying around us and our food the whole time. When I mentioned that the shrimp wasn't what I was expecting and not as described I was told "there's nothing they can help if I just don't like it" Will not be returning. read more

Stopped here on Friday the 7th of March. I used to go to this building back in the 90's. Obviously different management and decor back then. My fiancée and I loved this place. It is much more open and the decor was fantastic. Our waitress was just plain awesome and the food was delicious! She had the clubhouse sandwich and I had the prime rib sandwich with au jus sauce. We both had fries and the portions were more than satisfactory. It was nice to eat good food, in a good atmosphere without breaking the wallet. With tip we walked away paying $45 give or take. We arrived at this restaurant that's only 10 miles from where we live, but we had never been there and didn't know anybody who had. It was very well appointed beautiful restaurant with plenty of parking they brought us in and we had to wait in the bar area for approximately five minutes And then the young lady took us into the beautiful carpeted area and seated us. Our waiter Rory came to us with a big smile. We explained to him that this was our first time there and I asked him what he liked on the menu. My wife ordered chicken breast done Grecia style, which came with rice and veggies and black olives and pepperoncini's and a salad shit about a quarter of it it was huge. I ordered chicken shish kebab, which came with rice, veggies, black olives, pepper, Cheney, and a piece of goat cheese and a salad. The salads were better than good And the chicken in both meals was terrific and they brought us a free loaf of bread, hot bread, and butter, which we both enjoyed and I can't find anything to say about this place that isn't great. I have mixed feelings about this place. In summary, the place looks nice and the service was great which I can appreciate because it's rare these days, but the entrance/waiting area smell so cheap and the food is a hit or miss. We started with the coconut shrimp which we enjoyed very much. Then came the bread and soups included with our meal. Mine tasted good at first but it was also very salty and heavy. I ate half my bowl and immediately felt sleepy. For my meal I ordered a prime rib sandwich which was not what I got. Instead they brought out a plain Italian beef. I wish I had a picture of it because it was by no means a prime rib sandwich, and it was an incomplete Italian beef. Dipped and soggy on one side but boring without the peppers. I chose to not eat it, after all I was full just from the soup and bread. My husband got the burger on the lunch special and it was on French toast bread. Also nothing to brag about. Lunch for 2 sandwiches and one appetizer was $50 before tip. We left very full yet disappointed with our food. read more

How do people actually want to eat here? The coconut shrimp had no flavor and full of grease. The patty melt was horrible as the meat was so dense and tough, the fries were soaked in oil. BF got the ribeye which he said was good but the baked potato was hard as a rock and the chefs choice of vegetables was from a frozen bag, and the steak was sitting in the water from the frozen vegetable. disgusting!
