I love this place. They have some of the best prime rib around. The servers, staff, and ownership are all fantastic--truly some of the best in the industry. My favorite appetizer is the Greek saganaki, and it's a great place for a family dinner or celebrating a loved one's birthday.

Stopped here for lunch with my wife. The menu was diversified enough and we both found what we wanted. They also have daily lunch specials and sell liquor. My New York strip sandwich was huge and came with side of fries and soup. Wife got the Greek salad and it was unbelievably huge. We ended up eating the rest of it for dinner later that day. Service was great and the ladies waiting tables been doing it for a very long time so they know exactly when to appear and what is needed. Plenty of parking in the back.

Called several days ahead to assure seating for Mother's Day. We arrived a little early for our reservations and every person at the hostess desk greeted us with big smiles. Not long after giving the party name we were seated. I generally wouldn't comment on this, however it could be a problem. We were seated at a table as I pulled my chair out it sort of slid, so we held the chair for our Mother to assure the chair would not slide from under her. We all noticed the unusual sliding of the chairs all around the table. I looked down to see if maybe the floor may have been wet but it was not. Our waitress came rather quickly and took our beverage orders to allow us to look at the menu. Glad to have time to look over the Specials as well. There were many appetizing meal offerings. One of our party ordered Calamari as an appetizer. I tasted it, however not very good. They tasted as though they were the frozen pre battered kind and there was no additional seasoning on them. The marinara sauce didn't really do anything for the taste. And they were rubbery, very chewy. Fortunately there is a different take on dinner (for the most part). A hot loaf of bread with sweet butter was brought out with our salads and one of the party got the Chicken soup. The person who got the soup raved about how good it was and there were plenty pieces of chicken in the soup. Surprisingly everyone enjoyed their meals or the main protein the mixed vegetables had a lot to be desired. The veggies were over cooked and mushy and did not have much seasoning on them. Although it was a good blend of vegetables. Everyone did really enjoy their main protein with all of the meat cooked to the requested temperatures. All in all the food was good, some items needed seasoning, there was a good blend and hearty servings - we all had enough to take something home for a later snack. We did order desserts to go. I can only speak for the one I ordered, and that was the Carrot Cake! Moist and delicious and enough for two servings. I recommend this family style restaurant you get great service (waitress we had was fantastic!). Oh and if you like Adult Beverages they have a full bar. Hope you enjoy when you visit them.

We made a stop here during lunch while we were in the area. So so glad we did. The restaurant is bright and welcoming. The service is excellent. The food portions are huge and not to mention DELICIOUS. My salad was loaded and Hubby's NY strip sandwich was tender and the melted cheese... yummmmmmy. There is also a bar area with high tops and a gaming area if you are feeling lucky .

I've had a tough month of reviews in July... But the last three restaurants that I've attended had been phenomenal number one Palermo's on 95th in Oak lawn. Goat and Vine in Bolingbrook and now Williamson's restaurant in New Lenox all wonderful restaurants.. So let me start my review I started off with my favorite soup which is baked french onion and it was delicious... We ordered an appetizer plate which consisted of potato skins, onion rings, ribs, mozzarella sticks And wings $17.50 well worth it... They had a special menu which we had a ribeye steak which my daughter had was very juicy. Not tough. It was on a special page. Special price I had ordered also from that menu which was only $12.50 was the chicken stroganoff.. I love stroganoff but most places make it with beef and I personally don't eat beef So it was a real treat to be able to have this and it was delicious.. I also had ordered the sesame chicken over rice was also good. More of an Americanized entree.. My son-in-law ordered Philly beef sandwich which was also good. The slices of beef were tender The entrees came with soup or salad.. being a Soup connoisseur... As easy as chicken soup can be to make, I cannot tell you how many restaurants can mess it up sometimes by adding too much chicken Base.. . I could have probably ordered five bowls That's how good it was. We had a side salad of Caesar which was also delicious. The romaine was fresh fresh parmesan and their croutons were fried perfectly. Not burnt hard or old... I had to hit their dessert menu their cakes are sliced generously so they are shareable. We ordered the brownie with ice cream which also was good and a seven-layer fudge cake that was dry. I would like to order it again but I feel I have to ask if that's the way that it's supposed to be but the carrot cake that was spot on moist the cream cheese was balanced. It was wonderful.... We had the pleasures of Sheila serving us. She did a fantastic job... Made it very comfortable and was very efficient.... They have plenty I'm parking which is great and it was right off i-80. If you're ever out in that direction I would suggest stopping by to grab lunch or dinner... The restaurant is beautifully designed. Very clean... full bar bar with slot machines... Very cozy entrance with seating area. If there's a wait ....and carryouts are available..., I would check out the special page. They changed daily with lunch and dinner. Great job Williamson restaurant

Actually one of the nicer restaurants around. That may not be saying a lot but it's where to go if wanting something better than the chain restaurants. Coming here the first time we weren't sure what to expect. It's actually a lot more casual than it sounded at first. This isn't some fancy ass steakhouse. A lot more of a blue collar atmosphere. The prices are kind of high on cocktails though. It's about $16 for one of the Summer Mojitos. They have a few flavors to choose and I got raspberry. A lot of the food is meaty as expected. It's about $12 for the pretzels. Basic. We got these as one of our few options. Comes with what they call chips sauce, which is made with pickles amazingly. The rest of the menu features burgers and fries and of course big ass steaks. Has some of the better food in town to be honest. It's located in kind of a hard to see location. There's a crowd especially on weekends.

We figured it would have been the perfect way to top off our evening. For first-timers it might be hard trying to find the speakeasy since at first I thought you had to access it from the Busy Street and walk up three flights of stairs. Actually you just walk inside of the Embers building, find the elevator that's kind of hidden and take it to the Third floor. I thought that the little trip up felt exclusive already. Once you're at the third floor you are treated to a beautiful array of scenery. Exit to your left and you were treated to the bar and some great tables with a cozy, intimate setting. I'm not sure if it was open seating since there was a little podium right off the elevator so we just sat ourselves. Some speakeasies require a certain dress code to keep up with the times. This one thankfully was casual though many people dressed business casual. We actually loved how the staff dressed as well. I have to try their Japanese sex drink and I absolutely loved every ship that I took. The drinks are fairly price. They did have a food menu but it was mainly snacks and small plates that were a bit overpriced. If we're having a large Gathering they have a big private room next door. This place does have a lot of great events going on as well with their upcoming Valentine's Day event that looks really interesting. It does get pretty busy as well after 7:00 p.m. from our experience. Overall, I was excited and enjoyed our visit coming to the 933 speakeasy!

It just so happens that I visited the night of a holiday bar crawl in lockport so the inside wasn't set up how it normally would be. For being packed, we were still able to grab a cocktail table to enjoy our drinks at. The bar was decked out in holiday decor to get everyone in christmas spirits. My group got two rounds of drinks which included the Toasted Pecan Old Fashioned, Figgy Smalls, Christmas in a Cup, Happiness is a Warm Puppy, Milk & Cookies, and Maple Bacon Old Fashioned. My favorites by far were the Toasted Pecan Old Fashioned and Figgy Smalls. My group also loved the Milk & Cookies. The bartenders hustled to get drinks out and still took time to smoke the old fashioneds to perfection. I'd love to come back on a normal night and re-enjoy this lockport hotspot.

My SIL also got the Vesper Martini which was surprisingly amazing. All had a unique flavor profile, spirit forward, but also balanced well. My husband also got the TG Bees Knees which was delicious. For food, we started with the Baked Feta. This came with four warm pieces of bread to pair with the warm feta and sauce. For entrees, our waitress said the most popular dishes were the Duck and Seasonal Catch. My husband ordered the Pan Roasted Duck and enjoyed the tenderness and flavor. I ordered the Ravioli Au Dauphine which was served as a sheet. I enjoyed the filling flavor mixed with the sauce and cheese topping. It was the perfect winter pasta. My brother and SIL shared the Pork Belly Confit and Pan Seared Scallops. All dishes came out with a beautiful presentation. Across the board the portions seemed a bit small but you could taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients they used. Gabby waited on our table and was such a joy. She was smiling always, made some great recommendations, gave us a good laugh at times, and was kind to take our photo to savor the night. I definitely enjoyed my experience at Tallgrass and it truly was the perfect dinner spot to splurge with.

The parking lot was full when we arrived but thankfully there were two unused handicap spaces. I especially admired the fact that she could recite the specials (there had to be 15 of them, or so it seemed) without batting an eye! She was so attentive and had a wonderful sense of humor. I ordered the mediterranean salmon with au gratin potatoes and green beans, and my husband had the very huge prime rib with twice baked potatoes. We both enjoyed French onion soup for appetizers. The salmon was delicious as well as the potatoes. My husband raved over how perfectly seasoned his prime rib was but could only eat half of it as the size was enormous. He enjoyed a Moscow Mule and I sipped a glass of pinot noir. For dessert, I ordered a slice of New York cheesecake with raspberry/blueberry topping while my husband had a slice of chocolate cake. The desserts were awesome and Debbie made a fresh pot of coffee so we enjoyed our cups of java with dessert while enjoying the relaxing ambiance. Songs by Frank Sinatra played softly in the background while you could hear light laughter and various conversations. Happiness and relaxation filled the room. I didn't want the evening to end. My husband paid the bill, while Debbie packed our leftovers. I had such a relaxing time.
