Atmosphere: This place is in the middle of nowhere, and I absolutely loved that. Tons of parking. They have a cute little outdoor patio and a huge bar indoors to sit at. They do have several tables throughout the restaurant/bar as well but they were all packed while we were in there. The bathrooms were clean. Service: Really nice bartender/waitress. She was quick to make recommendations and served up a WICKEDLY good bloody mary. It took us about 40 minutes to get our food after ordering so this is not somewhere to go if you are on a time crunch. Food: Yum yum yum! I had the reuben sandwich and minus the bread getting soggy on one side it was delicious. I also tried their potato salad and their reuben chowder. Everything was a homerun and I was in a food coma for the rest of the day and decided to skip dinner. I can't wait to come back here. I wish it was closer to home so I could kick back a couple of beers and just hang out and enjoy the vibes, but it'll be worth the drive when we do go just because of the food and staff. read more

We went to "the hive" again last night with a party of nine and I'm glad my husband and I showed up early because the place was packed! It's really worth the wait though, the fish is cooked perfectly. The rum and coke I had seemed watered down, but I mentioned it to the bartender and she fixed it right away. We went here as a group from work. There were a lot of folks here for happy hour. It seems to be that kind of place. We were here to socialize and eat dinner. I ordered a mushroom and swiss burger. They were out of mushrooms, so I had to make another quick choice. I ordered the black and bleu burger. They had so many options I was sure they would have great burgers. When the burger arrived it was simply a patty, looked like the frozen 1/3 pound burger you get at Sam's club, with blackened seasoning and bleu cheese. Nothing else!! The bun was not heated and was plain. Not grilled with butter, not warmed up, just cold like out of the bag. I hear so many good things about this place avery time I visit. This was the new restaurant of the week check in as a weekend out of town day trip. The place is in the middle of no where Neenah WI. It's a nice looking place like it's fresh and new with a modern look almost sports bar ish. It has a bar as you walk in and a super cramped dining area next to it that was all tables In service so I would have no choice but to dine at the bar, I really hate dropping $40 on lunch at a bar on a bar stool. The servers were friendly but service was slow because they were obviously understaffed for the popularity of the place. I started with a whiskey old fashioned sour which for the WI state cocktail sucked because it was served tall with no muddled fruits and made like a cheap screwdriver cocktail. I ordered the prime rib sandwich with tater tots as my side, no real real sides like mashed potatoes or veggies just bar fried foods with up charges for the premium appetizers like mozzarella sticks and onion rings etc. The prime rib sandwich looked amazing and the people around me commented as well as how good it looked and asked me if I liked it. It was Fuc#ing absolutely delicious on a toasted hoagie roll, crispy tater tots and au jus dipping sauce. This was so delicious because it's finished off a seasoned char grill so it had that deep charbroiled flavor which I absolutely love because it's pretty rare to have meat like this in todays day. Dam it I'm so tired of finding these great nuggets so far away from me in other city's around the country in my travels. I would definitely stop back if not for the prime rib sandwich but a burger with that delicious flavor and fresh toppings would be amazing. Bee Hive Barn & Grill is a restaurant that I found in a Facebook Group during quarantine, promoting local restaurants and their specials. I had never heard of it before but their food looked yummy and they had great specials. My visit was actually for my birthday lunch, on our way to the airport. We sat at the bar and we had several different bartenders who made Bloody Mary's and took our lunch order. We both had the chicken bacon ranch wrap. The wrap was so yummy and the criss cut fries were heavenly! My husband also tried the brew city fries. This is a little out of the way for us, but it worth the trip! I never do reviews but so sad I had to do this. I loved the beehive and it was our stop after our grandkids games and with friends in between locations. Today we walked in a 12:20 and it was busy so we put our order to go right away. Two hours later we left. ok I understand a group came in but we saw that there was a party coming so that is why we ordered right away. They blamed the group. Our waitress never communicated with us. This was my first visit to the establishment, and it will likely be my last. My group and I attended during the lunch hour on a Saturday, and it was exceedingly crowded. Oddly, the restaurant had only two servers; one bartender, and a single cook available to handle the demand. We placed an order for drinks, appetizers, and a main course, however, the appetizers took over an hour to arrive. After waiting for nearly two hours, we made the decision to cancel our main course orders. Great place to eat and meet with friends. Went here during soccer tournament for lunch. They handled the rush with ease. Beer selection was great and cold, which is important when spending time with many 10 yr old soccer boys. They had food and appetizers that met everyone's needs. My wife had a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. I had the fried chicken sandwich. Both my meal and wife's were delicious. Menu has great variety. The new Bee Hive Barn and Grill. Great atmosphere which a large wrap around bar and about 8 side tables. First come first serve. Grab a table when you see one open. No seating. Craft beers, everything domestic. My tap beer was served brilliantly cold in a chilled pint glass. Yes!! The place is packed at noon on a Friday - pumping out fish frys and the like. The service is fast by people who seem to care and are quickly moving from customer to customer. Not bad for a brand new, freshly constructed building "barn". I like it, the fish fry looks fantastic and is a popular choice around me. I will update when I have selected something delicious! Ordered the fantail shrimp, not recommended- more batter than shrimp- cannot taste the shrimp. BUT WAIT - server came over and I was honest. They WANT to change out my meal for me. These people care. The 4 vs 5 stars are only because the online ordering system, while fast, was not super intuitive (specifically the 'additions' to the item part). If you've never been there before it's a confusing joint to walk into - there's no one that works there to greet you and you enter into the middle of the bar. We found a table and then noticed there was a QR code at the table to order. At minimum a sign at the door telling you what to do would be nice. I've been dining here often for several months. Lately I haven't been pleased with how my red meat is cooked. The bearded cook doesn't have the ability to cook a burger or steak to medium-rare apparently. Everything has been coming out WELL DONE which is gross to those of us who want actual moisture and flavor in our meat. Had lunch there this Friday noon. It was delicious. I had the steak sandwich with their chippers. The chippers come out freshly made - so still warm. Our appetizer never came and when we told the lady who brought our meals out that we no longer would like our appetizer since we already had our meal, she rolled her eyes at us.
