What a wonderful Five Guys experience! Definitely will return to this one. It is located next to Chipotle. The Five Guys has a parking lot. It is in the area off Pooler Parkway with Sam's. Upon entering my friend and I were greeted by all three people behind the counter. It was around 5. I was grabbing food for myself to go. The employee who took my order was in process of being trained. Her manager was incredibly supportive of her. She watched her and helped when needed. But did not hover. She let her learn by doing. And told her that she did a great job after she took my order. It was wonderful to see such great care and interactions between manager and staff. I wish more people treated their staff with the care I saw with the way she was speaking and helping her two staff members. My food was correct and delicious as always. Five Guys food is delicious! The floor was a little sticky. But they were busy preparing food and a rush of people came in after us. The tables and chairs were all clean. So was the soda, and area with ketchup and extras. Stopped in for our last time. I used to say that Five Guys was the best there was and as of lately, nothing but disappointment! I'm so mad that we spent $37 on dinner for 2 for a pick up order, had to wait way longer than anyone who ordered in line as I watched waiting for our order, and when we got home, the burgers were so dried out, with many toppings missing on each and fries that were way over salted. Service was terrible. The guy who took my order was very rude and seemed either new or unsure of what he was doing. I politely said I only wanted one soda, but he responded with attitude and insisted I had said two. I then stood at the wall waiting for my food for over 20 minutes. While waiting, I witnessed another customer ask for a receipt, and the lady made a face, grabbed the receipt with attitude, and handed it over. When the customer kindly said, "Thank you very much," she replied, "Absolutely," in a very sarcastic tone. The lady cooking was also using inappropriate language the entire time and had an attitude. They said they didn't want to take orders because everyone had to cook. Two service members walked in and were also told they couldn't place their orders for the same reason. I came by another time 20 minutes before closing and the door was locked and they were closing down inside. The burgers were fresh, the service was good, and the dining area was clean and well-kept. An associate was sweeping the floor and cleaning the tables. If I do fast food, that is a concern - the dining area must be presentable. If the dining area is a mess, what's happening in the kitchen? Before we opted to eat here, we went to Chipotle, which was next door. Unfortunately, the place was so messy we left...IMMEDIATELY! The tables were dirty. Five Guys has officially gone fast food! It used to be considered a dining restaurant as it is priced as such. I understand we have inflation but a $11 burger and $7 fries is absurd. I think there is a reason you don't see recent accolades posted on the wall but only things from the early 2010s. They don't try any longer. Gloves need to be changed when you touch receipts, the register, your glasses, etc. Hair nets need to be mandatory for those with long hair. Fries and burger do have the Five Guys taste as it is a chain restaurant but has great food. Shared parking with another restaurant but spaces are ample. Service was fast but workers are doing it at a rapid pace so friendliness is non existent. Plenty of seating insides as most orders were to go. This one is Five Guys familiar but if you have the option to go elsewhere, then do that. read more

Props to the crew at this Five Guys. We've all had Five Guys - and we know that the food is consistently delicious - I mean, those FRIES! Stopped at this outlet along I-95 headed North from a week in Florida. The shop is located adjacent to an outlet mall, and it was 1:30 and it was PACKED. You know that feeling of dread that you have when you have a craving a burger and fries and you get there and the line is out the door? Well, I experienced that feeling at this visit. I was close to changing my mind, but decided to tough it out. I'm glad I did. The crew was rocking! And it was like clockwork. The line of 20 people ordered in less than 5 minutes and the food came out 5 minutes later - just as ordered, neatly prepared, piping hot and with a generous portion of friendly good cheer. After being a fan for some time, I was recently disappointed by the customer service received at the new Five Guys located at 2120 Pooler Pkwy, Pooler, Georgia. After finding the store manager to be unresponsive to my concerns, upon taking the matter to the regional manager (?), things didn't improve as this gentleman took more issue with my reference to the establishment as fast food than my complaint over the store manager's unprofessional attitude when I complained about not receiving the correct order for which I paid. Correcting me, he made it clear they were not fast food, after which he made what sounded like a half-hearted promise to speak with the store manager. Ending the call, to educate myself as to exactly who this business was, I looked up Five Guys Enterprises, LLC (doing business as Five Guys Burgers and Fries and Five Guys). Given the manager's indignance, I was surprised that their website defines them as an "American fast food chain focused on hamburgers, hot dogs, and french fries. The fast food chain moniker is also associated with them on Wikipedia, showing their headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. As for the food that day, our fries were good, but the burgers were dry. Moreover, although we tried to enjoy our meal, the upsetting incident was not conducive to dining, and my significant other and I left, as I threw half my burger away. Incidentally, numerous Five Guys are franchises. In such cases, one might find services and rules inconsistent with corporate objectives. However, my call to the corporate office in Virginia disclosed this location to be a corporate facility, not a franchise. Very disappointing; one thing that isn't consistent with fast food is the cost of a Five Guys burger. That may be what confused the manager. read more

My first experience with five guys and I love burgers. I am sort of torn... I'm weighing an excellent meal with the $23 bill? For one? I had the regular burger with cheese and a small fry and Coke. The burger was excellent. I don't think I've had anything better... I think they're about 25% above the price point for that meal. Whataburger & In-N-Out are on the same level but at a lower cost as I remember. WHAT really got me was the obligatory tip at the end when I paid my bill. I notice they were looking for help and we're paying $18/hour.. I just don't like the idea of walking up to a counter serving myself and then paying max price for the good food plus paying for the service that I don't get... I will probably go back and I've done some research and it says you can get bacon and extra cheese for no added cost if you know what you're doing and that would make it a little bit more affordable... also, you can I added special sauce and I hear their Cajun fries are to die for? I'm happy that the people are making money there that work for five guys don't get me wrong, but I also like the whopper and I can get the same meal for $8. No it's not as good but I also drive a Nissan not a Ferrari. I definitely will go back, but I won't eat there very often. read more

I was disappointed today. Usually you are greeted as soon you enter the establishment. I didn't see the manager that I normally see on other visits. It is normally pretty clean inside but today the floors were dirty and the area where you get your condiments was pretty dirty. It was too late because I had already paid but if I had seen the condiment area I would have not had ate there. The manager used to come by the table and ask how the meal was and thank you for your business but again I didn't see him in the store. I have tried admit the burger and fries were pretty good. My son requested Five Guys for his birthday dinner last night, we arrived at about 9pm and the store wasn't very busy, we ordered a bacon burger plain and three bacon cheese burgers all the way, two large fries and an Oreo shake to go. Everything was delicious as usual and they gave us a ton of fries to share as usual. The staff was speedy and we were in and out in under 15 minutes. We asked for a few more malt vinegar packets and the young lady came out and immediately refilled the condiments. Excellent service and the food was wonderful! read more

My experience was a 5. I brought a group of 14 people and it worked great. We all ordered separately and it was served pretty darn quick. I had the Cheeseburger "All the Way" which is the best all the way that I have ever seen even including sautéed onions and sautéed mushrooms. Nice and messy the way I like it. The fries were expensive but plentiful and very good. I asked for mustard to dip them in and they were very nice about it. The burger was a huge mess and that is what I expect when you put all those condiments on the burger. Price is a little high but not being jacked up with price for extra ingredients is nice. Overall a wonderful experience and I will probably be back next time I drive by there. And I don't think I will change my order at all! Before walking in they had music outside and it was cranked up pretty loud considering it was only 11:15 A.M. Hoped it would be better inside but it was as loud or maybe louder than outside. The cashier taking my order, I had to continuously had to get her to repeat what she said because I told her I had trouble hearing her because the music was too loud. I had a take out order, and when I got back to work, I found out that the burger toppings werent as I had asked for. Maybe they didnt get it right because the music was too loud and they didnt hear me correctly. While I was waiting for my order, another employee asked me something, and twice I had to ask her to repeat herself because the music was too loud. She asked if I thought it was too loud and I told her I was in a bar drinking beer at 1 AM, it would be OK but I was in a fast food plaice making a takeout order it wasnt OK. The only response was that they sold beer there , but since I am an aircraft mechanic on my lunch break, I had to skip the beer. I have eaten at other Five Guys in the past but not this one. I do like the cajun fries, but the fries here were nothing like other places. I dont know if the fries were cooked earlier and just sat around, but they were pretty soggy and limp. I like hot and spicy foods, and like the cajun fries I have had elsewhere; but the fries here were WAYYYYYYYY to over seasoned. It seemed as if their goal was to coat every single exposed surface with the cajun spices. way overkill.
