This was our third time here. Such a great place. Our server was Mari and she was the best. Very patient answering our many questions. A server that seems to truly like her job. Was was so good and so much food. If you haven't tried it, GO!

Excellent restaurants! Extremely friendly staff. Spend Thanksgiving here and it was a packed house. The staff worked quickly to service everyone on a holiday. My tofu soup was good. They gave me extra side dishes as well.

Bewon is touted by many to be the best Pooler has to offer. On my visit to Bewon, I was impressed by the quick and courteous service but not so much by the food. The banchan was served in very small portions and did not seem as vibrant and fresh. The SEAFOOD PAJEON had good flavor but was not crisp as it should have been. The JAPCHAE was oily and unappetizing. The KIMCHEE STEW was one note. It needed a better punch of flavors. Needless to say I was disappointed to experience the best. I will continue the search.

Went over holiday break with my kids pass lunch time. There were still some tables there and some seem acquaintance. Clean interior and spacious table with bbq option if you want to do that. We ordered troop hot pot as I was craving for some spicy and hot stuff and I ordered hot pot bulgogi for my kids for non spicy option. Loved their appetizers and they can do free refills if you like them. Food was delicious especially for the hot pot bulgogi as my kids loved it! I loved the flavor about the troop hot pot but the only complaint is there were too much sausages but only few beef pieces, which I was not expected. We ended up with a lot sausages in the pot as they are not that tasty. But other than that everything else was great! Wound recommend this place but caveat is don't order troop hot pot if you are not a sausage lover.

Absolutely FANTASTIC service! I ordered the dumplings, kalbi, and soondubu and was super impressed with the banchan as well. They have both bbq available and regular sit down- very casual spot to get a great, Korean meal. Awesome lunch combos too! The only thing was the kalbi wasn't quite Korean- added broccoli and mushrooms making it more like a beef and broccoli Chinese dish versus Korean kalbi but still tasted great.

The place was moderately crowded at 3 pm on a Sunday afternoon. They offered us bottled water at no extra charge when we were first seated. Side dishes were plentiful, authentic, and refilled upon request. The spicy soft tofu soup (soon dubu stew) was tasty, not the best I've ever had, but I enjoyed it. An automatic 18% gratuity was charged for our group of 7.

Fantastic Korean BBQ restaurant that offers grill at table or pre-cooked menus, depending on the Korean experience you want. Cooking at table is fun but we opted for precooked this time. I ordered the traditional BEEF BIBIMBAP. They also offer a hot stone version where veges are cooked warm instead of raw. It comes with rice on side that you can mix in, which is .last delicious way to eat. I am on low carb diet so it's perfectly left uneaten on side. The dish is a delicious healthy keto treat! The Korean hot sauce on table really makes the dish! Don't miss out! Most entrees come with sides. They pick the sides for you, and are mostly vegetables. It's a great part of the Korean experience. The soup was not to my liking.

    Great spot in Pooler!

Food is Korean, authentic Korean Service is ok Ambiance is cold and utilitarian...they want you to eat and leave the table for the next diner. If you want to eat and go for lunch...this is the place.

The experience was fantastic. There were 4 or 5 servers and they all took turns stopping by to see if we needed anything. We had spicy bilgogi beef and shrimp. It's one of the few grills that open at 11am.

Definitely get the veggie dumplings as starters. They were yummy!

A group of us went to this restaurant Saturday. We were seated immediately and the gentleman was able to answer many questions. The prices seemed a bit high but I guess the complimentary sides are one of the perks. Out of the six of us, four of us liked our meals. I would give this place a second chance. They do add on gratuity for parties of six or more. Side note- by the end of our meal several of us were extremely hot. Not sure if their AC gave out, but they did try to accommodate the guests from the heat from outside by having fans. I'd say give them a try and see for yourself.

A few years ago I got a friend hooked on Korean bibimbap bowls. Whenever she visits me, that's on the menu. Since then, I've been working to get her to try this spot. They did not fail me! We were seated quickly and the waitress was super friendly and patient as we asked questions. My friend and I ordered the bowls and her husband got the beef bulgogi. The little side dishes ahead of getting the food were good: kimchi, kimchi cucumber, Korean potato salad, pickled radish, bok choy and fish cakes (no thanks). You can get as many "refills" as you like. Our food was so good!! The bibimbap bowls are huge, so arrive hungry. The red sauce wasn't too hot, which I appreciated as I've had it at some places and my lips got chapped. My friend devoured his bulgogi. The environment was laid back, and did get busier as people came in after work. I couldn't tell if they had a bar or not. Put this on your list if you're in the area.

And the star of the show - the selection of some of the freshest meats, fish, vegetables, sauces & condiments I have ever seen! We had a chance to visit 912 Korean BBQ and hot pot last weekend. We were looking for something…read morecasual but filling for dinner and because we had not tried out this place yet but had driven by several times, we decided to check it out. Definitely a great decision on a hunch. This is an all you can eat hot pot concept and frankly my first time attending this version. While I have visited hibachi restaurants in the past, this is not that. Basically this is a dual table side prep concept where you can either make your own custom soups and broths, and hot pot seafood or you can select the grill and grill of a variety of fresh meats and fish and vegetables, or you can get both. Both come with a small dessert bar and seem to be accompanied with the additional Fresh salad and sauce bar, although I'm not quite sure if one of those may have been restricted if you did the grill only or the hot pot only. Pricing is pretty fair at about $30 a person which rises to mid 30s if you decide to get both options. We went with the combo because we had never tried this concept before, but in the future, I may lean more towards the grill option only. Especially if I'm not in the mood for hot pot or soup. But I definitely enjoyed the combination choice for our first visit. The meat and vegetable selections at this restaurant are pretty vast and this is after the server first sets you up and allows you to pick from several different types of broth for your hot pot. In addition, they have a sauce bar that must've had 20+ sauces available to choose from. I think one of the most overwhelming aspects of this concept is lack of familiarity with the right combinations of hot pot and grilled options. For this we leaned heavily on our server and she did a great job of guiding us through a couple of her favorite combinations, as well as some of the favorite combinations of other patrons. This was really helpful because there isn't a menu or chart to help you unlock all of the really cool combinations that you can put together including Ramen udon and Thai soup varieties. All of the ingredients you need to make any of those dishes, but in your own customize version, are here to your heart's desire. Service is really good as they do switch out the grills rather rapidly as they will get charred and start to burn and smoke after three or four rounds of fresh meats and veggies slapped on them. However, they do not switch out your broth choice so once you make your choice, that's what you're rolling with for the rest of the dinner. All in all we were really satisfied with the freshness and the preparation of most of the ingredients and sauces. I did think the dessert bar was a little weak given the multitude of options elsewhere, but I also understand that this is consistent with the cultural preferences, which don't skew as heavy on traditional sweets, like American taste do. All in all this is definitely a treat for those looking for a great date night or just looking to take the family out for a really engaging and tasty cook at your table experience - all you can eat style!

I ordered the combo 3 with grilled tail on white shrimp, fried catfish and deviled crab with coleslaw and French fries. We got our food and checked it out. Looked good and fresh. His chicken sandwich you could tell was a fresh chicken breast not too thick or breading and decent seasoning. The fries are thicker crinkle cut and were good. My plate came and the shrimp were definitely seasoned I'm pretty sure blackened but that was great I love that flavor. I was disappointed thinking I was just gonna get boring grilled shrimp. My car fish was flaky and delicious. The Cole slaw was ok tasted homemade. The star for me on my plate was the deviled crab. I thought the crab taste was delicious and it actually tasted homemade and I hope it was! If I was passing by again and craving seafood I would make a purposeful trip to stop! They have that wonderful nugget ice, another reason to stop lol

Yep, I had today's buffet which sometimes features ribs which I was hoping it might be available but they only cook what is in surplus with their food distributor. Unfortunately, the ribs were not. Rain has a way of making you hungrier for the right kind of food. We walked into Georgia Comfort…read moreKitchen off I-95 on one of those gray, damp Georgia afternoons, and from the first bowl of gumbo, the weather outside stopped mattering entirely. We ordered off the menu rather than the buffet -- though both were available and the buffet looked well-stocked and genuinely tempting. My husband had the Shrimp & Grits: Georgia shrimp over stone-ground grits with andouille sausage, peppers, onions, bacon, and a sherry cream sauce. Rumor had it that was the move, and the rumor was right. The grits alone were the kind you don't stop talking about -- velvety, deeply seasoned, the kind of base that makes everything sitting on top of it taste better than it already is. I went with the fried catfish, a side of mac and cheese, and a bowl of gumbo. Honest take: the catfish itself was good -- the fish was fresh and well-flavored -- but the batter had gone a little soggy, which kept it from landing where it could have. That's the kind of thing that varies by timing, not kitchen quality. The mac and cheese, though, was exactly what you want: cheesy without being gluey, hot all the way through, properly indulgent. And the gumbo -- chicken and sausage, rich and built with patience -- was the best thing on my side of the table. On a rainy afternoon in coastal Georgia, it was exactly right. Then there was the cornbread, served with peach cobbler butter. That detail alone tells you something about how this kitchen thinks. It's not an afterthought. It completed everything around it. I'm not from the South, and I won't pretend to have a lifetime of comparison points. But there's a kind of food that makes you feel like you were born into it anyway -- like your body already knew what it was tasting. That's what happened here. Good for road trippers, families, rainy days, and anyone who needs a real meal after a long stretch of highway. Four stars, with the grits alone pulling hard toward four and a half.
